The scene opens up in the POW arena. The lights begin fading between red and black as "Flashlight" by Punchline hits. Jason Lee steps out onto the stage and cracks his knuckles. He is already in his ring gear as he makes his way down the ramp. Lee high fives fans on the way down, as the fans are beginning to warm up to him now that they have seen him work. Lee gets to the ring and slides in then flips to his feet. The ring announcer tosses him a mic as he flips up. His music dies down as he gets the grin on his face similar to that of his trainer Shawn Stevens. The crowd quiets down as he begins to speak.
Jason: See, I don't have a problem with many things. Normally I am a happy-go-lucky guy, however when pushed I do push back. And I stand up for those who need it. Yeah it's cheesy, but when Victor Bloodmoon decided to get into the middle of a match between two students and take both of them out. THAT'S when I have a problem. See Victor, is that the only way you can get an edge on me? Picking on guys I was in the training grounds with? You claim you can do what you want when you become the Valor Champion, but see you're jumping way ahead of yourself.....because you need to beat me first, and I'm not going to go down without a fight.
Act foolish like you don't know who I am, pretend you don't think Shawn Stevens is a good trainer......but realize the facts at least. I came into POW and set my sights immediatly on both the Valor Championship AND the Tag Team Championship.....Shawn set his on the POW Heavyweight Championship....together we will be the best set of wrestlers in the midwest, maybe even the world. And the best part is, we are both not even twenty years old. I just began my career and already I am being predicted to be one of the hottest new stars in the business. Meanwhile you get your jollies picking on students and acting like you actually accomplished something. Oooooh you broke some guy's neck after he beat you.....big tough guy.....I'll break every bone in your body WHILE I beat you.
The crowd cheers at the young contender's bold claims.
Jason: Yeah you have damn near a foot on me, and a buck twenty or so, but see I wasn't brought up to back away from a fight. I love to put people in their place and be a buzzkill. Your German ass will get handed to you just like the days of WWII.......see all this has become to me now is HOW should I beat you....should I make you tap out? Should I pin you after an airborn attack? Should I just simply knock you out? Or should I just beat the ever living hell out of you until you run off with your tail between your legs? Maybe the fans can help me decide......who here thinks I should just make Victor tap out?
The crowd explodes.
Jason: Or what about an airborn attack?
Once more the crowd cheers signaling their choice.
Jason: Hmm tough choice, how about knock his big ass out?
Again the crowd cheers getting even louder this time. Lee grins.
Jason: Eh.....sounds like they want me to do ALL THREE TO YOU, VICTOR! You may be right though, you might just be victorious come First Rights, but it sure isn't going to be for the Valor Championship, because you won't be in that match. Maybe you can go beat Buzz Parks or one of the Kansas City Mad Men if you want another easy win. I, however, will be the one winning the Valor Championship at First Rights......and when all is said and done, and the smoke clears, my hand will be raised in the air once more. And you will see just who Jason Lee really is......
Lee gets a huge grin on his face as "Flashlight" by Punchline hits as Jason exits the ring and heads up the ramp. He highfives the fans once more as the scene fades to black.
