::The scene opens in a full press conference suite. The stage is empty but POW Color commentator, Tony Almanti walks up the steps to the lectern.::
Tony: Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of Power on Wrestling I’d like to thank you for coming to the First Rights Press Conference. Today you’ll be able to speak to a few of you’re favourite POW Superstars and what a way to kick off with none other than “The Predator” himself, Dave Hunter.
::The large crowd claps as Dave Hunter walks up the steps to the POW lectern as “You know my Name” plays quietly in the background as he enters.
Dave: Ladies and Gentlemen, for those of you that has the superb privilege of being at First Rights on Thursday will not only have that privilege, but you’ll all get to see me in the ring…
::The crowd cheer.::
Dave: This Sunday, I wrestle a man that so far has cowardly attacked a man AFTER his match and challenged me to a match this week; Jason Dread…
::Crowd boo as Dread’s name is mentioned::
Dave: Now, Jason, I’m sure that the boos from this crowd do not bother you as you’re a man that only cares about coming out on top, which is fair enough! I, however, am a man that has that attitude and I explain over and over again that no matter what reception I get from these so called “fans” does not affect the way I perform. However, after god knows how long trying to explain this, they began to cheer because they see what I’m capable of in the ring. These fans don’t care about what I say on the mic, it’s what I do in the ring that counts and I will prove that this Thursday when I defeat you, Dread. You see, at this point, you’ve insulted my history, my time in UWC which to you’re surprise I am proud of. And I know I’m not the only one that’s proud of my achievements. I know I have a good amount of respect from the people in this business, and from you, I’ve had nothing but disrespect from you, which is fine. You don’t have to respect me, but I guarantee that you’ll regret it on Thursday.
Almanti: Okay. Ladies and Gentlemen, do any of you have questions for Dave?
::Several hands go up in the room and Almanti selects a man near the back of the room.::
Press Man 1: Mr Hunter, Jason and yourself have brought up you’re achievements in UWC on a few occasions. Do you think that those achievements will affect the result of Thursday’s match?
Dave: No. Not at all. But Mr Dread seems to be taking my comments about my UWC history into context. You see, my boss, Tito Capaci has labelled this match “Battle of the UWC Titans” and the point I was making is the fact that in my opinion Jason Dread, a man that walked out on that company, cannot be labelled a Titan after his lack of commitment to a company that was so committed to watching him succeed. But this Thursday, either of us could prove to be potential future titans of the POW. UWC is no longer a factor.
::More hands in the room go up and a man near the front is selected by Almanti.::
Press Man 2: Mr Hunter, yourself and fellow UWC colleague, Big Ci have recently become aligned as the next tag team in POW. Is this what is about to happen?
Dave: Big Ci came to me a while ago and mentioned the possibility that we could become a tag team as we would be a good combination in the ring. At this time, I’m focused on my singles competition and I’m looking no further than First Rights, which if I can please remind you, the purpose of this press conference is for so can we move on?
::Almanti selects a lady at the side of the room.::
Press Lady 1: Mr Hunter, you mentioned earlier that you felt disrespect from Jason Dread. Do you not think that this feeling is mutual between you both?
Dave: Certainly not on my part. I respect the way he does things…even what he did last Monday. He’s a tactician and what he did on Monday was a tactical decision; very clever of him. I respect his ability in the ring. The only reason I’d have to disrespect Dread is for him disrespecting me.
::Almanti selects a man near the front of the room.::
Press Man 3: David, this Thursday, you’re in a match with a very capable competitor. You’ve wrestled with tougher guys, and come out the winner and loser. You’ve wrestled less tougher guys and done the same. How do you plan on coming out victorious on Thursday?
Dave: It’s not always about who’s toughest. You need to be clever in this game, like Jason was last Monday. If he’d have broke my arm, he’d have boosted his chances of a win on Thursday. Psychology comes into wrestling a lot Aswell. There’s a lot you can do, sometimes with the aid of others to boost you’re chances of winning. On Thursday, I’ll do what I always do, my best and hopefully, that will be enough to get the win, ‘cause like I said earlier, all I want is victory, and I will do anything to achieve that on Thursday.
Tony: I’m afraid we have more superstars to be on and we’ll have to have just one more question.
::He selects a lady near the back of the room.::
Press Lady 2: Dave, how have you prepared for you’re match against Dread? What precautions are you taking on Thursday?
Dave: I prepare for every match the same. Just sometimes if my opponent is a little higher up the roster I spend a little more time doin’ the same stuff. After what Jason did on Monday, I’ll be very cautious of what he could do on Thursday, so any tricks he might pull, I’ll be ready for. I’m ready for Thursday, and Jason, I’m sure you are too. I just can’t wait to walk out victorious, ‘cause remember, on Thursday, you are my prey and like always, I’m “The Predator”.
::Dave walks off stage and Tony Almanti walks back up to the lectern.::
Almanti: Ladies and Gentlemen, The Predator! For fans watching online, more interviews with the superstars will become available within the next few hours.::
{Scene fades to Black}
