We are in the bowels of the Ameristar Casino - the temporary headquarters for everyone's favourite hero... The Shadow of Silicon Valley - Reck Maverick. Sure it's not a nice as the private VIP locker rooms that the top stars have but it's suits its purpose, it allows Maverick to separate himself from the rest of the fighters and organize his thoughts. Which at this point and time are directed towards not only his opponent - but also his Tag Team partner, which happens to be the same man: Appius Macros Vitruvious.
Right now Maverick is practicing his Shuriken throwing against several wooden targets he has placed around the area. How is this relevant to a wrestling match? Well, it's not - Reck's annual Ninja evaluations are coming up so he's going over his technique. He is seemingly unaware of the hidden camera as the built-in microphone picks up his words.
Reck Maverick - Finally I get the chance that I didn't get in UWL... A chance to go after Singles gold! But I gots to go through Mac to do it. They never said that being a champion was easy but I'm looking forward to it! I've had it really easy until now - Dan Real, Butch Skull and Cran Landom fell relatively quick to my abilities but Macros will be a new beginning for me...

Reck Maverick - I glad that Macros and I are fighting this week. Not only will it be the best match of the night but it will be beneficial to both of us. With the Tag Tournament beginning soon it will good for us to learn each others styles and techniques, our strengths and weaknesses especially since one of us will be pulling double duty. One of us will be fight George Duke for the Valor title and both of us will be fighting together at in the finals of the Tag tournament...
It's too bad one of our undefeated streaks will end soon - at the others hands... Of course it won't be MY streak that ends, not by a long shot! I'm to hungry for singles gold to let myself get beat by anyone... not even the great Macros Vitruvious! March is the month where I finally return to the top! By the end of All In not only will I be half the first POW Tag Team Champions but I will also be the first DOUBLE CHAMPION in the POW... After that night no one will EVER be able to label me as a joke again.
Our hero nails a couple more targets with deadly accuracy.
Reck Maverick - I have all the respect in the world for everyone in this company but until I get some respect I may have to put that respect on hold. Karma... What comes around, goes around... They call me a joke, Well when the smoke clears it will me who will left laughing... And once the gold is back around my waist it will back to Plan A! Eliminate the evil of POW! HA HA!
