With First Rights officially done and embroidered into the history books, Power On Wrestling looks forward to continuing on with the great success it attained at it's first DVD taping unto the many events that follow. Next up in the DVD taping department for the month of March will be an event entitled 'All In'. Throughout the course leading up to that said event, we will be honored with a serious of occurrences known as 'The Road to All In'. This weeks Road to All In comes hot off the heels of First Rights, and the many-a-men that garnered success there will look forward to obtaining that very same success this week, and the weeks to follow.
Speaking of success, let me just take this time to congratulate both Shawn Stevens and George Duke for overcoming the odds against them and becoming the first ever POW Heavyweight Champion and first POW Valor Champion respectively. Do those titles justice, boys, and enjoy every minute you reign as champion of your respected division. Sooner or later, good ole Jason Dread will harvest his very own shot at either one of those fancy little things you guys currently have in your possession, and it's a sure bet that once I've got the shot for either title, it's pretty much as good as mine. It'll be a cold day in hell when yours truly wouldn't successfully cash in on a title opportunity and walk away victories from the match about ten pounds heavier.
I'm getting ahead of myself, however. Although me snagging a title into my possession is inevitable, that's still not to occur until sometime in the distant future. For now, I've got other grievances to worry about: namely Dave Hunter and Big Ci. Although I must admit that these pesky little nuisances I currently have poking me in my side are as diminutive as they come, a dilemma is a dilemma no matter how big or small it is, and whatever the size it may be it needs to be taken care of immediately. I thought I already solved my little Dave Hunter problem, but it looks like he's back for more… this time with his big Neanderthal of a friend Big Ci.
Seeing as Dave Hunter now has a colleague by his side, I've been given the same luxury at this weeks Road to All In event. My cohort for the week? The very same man who recently came up a bit short in his efforts of grasping the POW Heavyweight Title after succumbing to Shawn Stevens: the previously proclaimed 'Undisputed King of Wrestling' Rich Morrison. Although Rich came out of First Rights unsuccessful -- hey, kind of like Dave Hunter AND Big Ci -- I'm certain the guy has talent somewhere in that body of his. Seeing as he was vying for the Heavyweight Title, he couldn't be too bad. And, besides, we're only up against Dave Hunter and Big Ci, so what the heck is there to worry about? I could beat those two in a handicap match blindfolded let alone do it with Morrison by my side.
It has recently come to my attention, however, that Rich Morrison -- or, shall I say, 'Richie' Morrison -- has had a contemporary attitude adjustment. He's turned over a new leaf, so to speak. Instead of going around proclaiming to be God of this and that, he's suddenly forcing us all into believing that he's much more mature and modest than he once was. Well, that's all fine and dandy, because as long as he's able to hold his own in the ring this week against Hunter and Ci I really couldn't care less how he acts and says outside of the squared circle. This little alteration in his approach to things better be for the better though, because I don't want a shell of a man by my side. I'd rather go into this thing alone than to be forced into carrying his deadweight on my shoulders around the ring.
You know, I'd much rather prefer Dave Hunter to suddenly have a change in heart after suffering that loss to yours truly than it instead being Rich Morrison. Apparently, Dave Hunter didn't learn a single freaking thing while he was enduring that carnage I was dishing out at First Rights. What'd he do all last week? Continually make these counterfeit claims and false accusations about how he'll show no mercy and destroy me. But what ended up happening? I beat him, I'm still in perfect health, and I don't fear him whatsoever. Now, what's he started doing this week? Doing the exact same crap he did last week. Does he really think he's suddenly gotten that much better than me in a little less than a weeks time? It's about to be déjà vu for 'The Predator'.
While I think about it, the same goes for Big Ci. He talked a big game last week just as his little buddy Dave Hunter did, and it ultimately led him to the same unfortunate fate his partner underwent. They two buffoons can talk all of the trash that they want, but I know that everything that spews out of their mouths is nothing but hallow threats -- it doesn't hold any weight. Seriously, though, how can you take a pair of guys seriously when they've already proven that they just babble on about how they're so good and are going to win just for show? They merely do it for the entertainment of others because they obviously can't be serious when they're trash-talking -- they proved that last week.
Hell, the same could even be said for the other man that they've aligned their selves with: Lance Erickson. Just like Hunter and Ci, Erickson too talked up a bit game last week. And what happened? He lost too. Do I see a pattern here? This new stable forming consists of nothing but a bunch of pathetic liars. Good luck on forcing whatever fear and panic unto your opponents that you're obviously trying to instill, because already it's not working. How's it going to feel when such a well-oiled tag team like yourselves -- Dave Hunter and Big Ci -- are beaten by two guys that were just thrown together and forced to work with one another like Rich Morrison and I were? It's obviously not going to help the reputation of this little tandem of yours any. You guys aren't a formidable team, you're nothing but a thorn in my side. A nuisance, if you will. And, unlike the both of you, my words actually hold some weight, so believe me when I say that I'll be healing the pain in my side I've suffered for about two weeks now by razing the both of you.
