We get a nice shot in the opening scene of the Arch in St.Louis. As the traffic can be heard in the distance with the sun gleaming in the backgrond, we zoom down to look upon a nice acre of land. It has golf courses and tennis courts spread out. In the middle is a huge palace like building, surrounded by tree's and flowers.
As we go in to the ground view, we can see Greg Kilgreen standing outside a social club, as we can tell by the sign on the wall. It's very elligant as seen by the surrounding houses and scenery. Greg is standing by with an ancy looking Nick Pickles, who seems to be slightly pacing back and forth. He is in business attire, so perhaps that is the reason behind his anxious'ness.
Greg: Well I am standing by outside the Barone's Social Club with POW superstar Nick Pickles who in three days will particapate in the Television title matches at SuperMania III
Nick: Yeah Yeah....they know that already. Look, i get tired of this shit. Everytime the boss sends you out, i have to oblige...stop what im doing and talk to you. And for what, to repeat myself over and over again about the truth? To rebuttal comments from jerkoff's. All they are doing is blowing hot air for absolutely. For one.....nobody's probably even listening to them...except maybe you Greg.
Greg: You seem aggitated?
Nick: Well....look at you, freakin Sherlock Holmes. Yeah i get tired of listening to that arrogant pile of garbage talk about whatever it is that gets him off. To be honest....i think he likes the sound of his own voice. For his information...i didnt place the bet on myself, the guy placed the bet for himself because he was obviously smart to know where the money should be put in this match.....and it's definitly not on some retarded loser like you Shadix.
Bubba peaks his head out of the social club's door to see what Nick is up to. He furiously steps to him and yells in his face to go back inside and entertain the guests until he is done with this interview. Bubba cooperates.
Greg: You know Nitro has had things to say as well-
Nick: Yeah believe me, i have heard him as well. He speaks with at least a little sense. He know's who has his number and all, but e also knows this match, or matches i should say have nothing to do with the past. That's Shadix problem, he thinks he's this god that since he beat a few people once or twice that he can just win, win, win all day long. Well sunny boy, hate to break it to you, but your not untouchable....especially not you. Your so easily beatable it's not even funny, and if it's anything i learned from my previous losses to you....it's that. That's why i say Showtime uses the five percent of the brain he's got, figures it out and dispences of you quite easily.
Nick looks to Greg with a look as if to ask if he is done. Greg nods and Nick begins to walk back towards the door to go back inside when Greg stops and calls him back for one more question. Nick haults in his steps, rolls his eyes and turns with an annoyed face.
Greg: What exactly is the strategy you plan to use in this match?
Nick: Thats what you stop me for?...To ask that, like im stupid enough to let the world and my opponents know what i plan to do. Maybe it will be like Nitro alluded to....maybe ill bend the rules just enough to sustain that pinfall. You never really know what im going to do, that's why im on of the best in the wrestling business today.....it's just sad poor brawler boy has his own head up his egotistical ass. But hey....that saves me and anyone else the trouble of putting our foot up their instead. Nitro's retirement will be re-instated by my hands at SuperMania III. Mr.Showtime gets cut from the line up at SuperMania III. Kaleb Shadix's oh so rising star gets pissed on personally by me at SuperMania III.....and that equation equals me walking out the new Television title.
Nick then shoves the microphone into Greg's chest as he proceeds into the social club. The camera follows in, showing us the spoils of the rich life as leather couches and marble pattern the rooms. Nick goes into a corner of people and takes his cigar he was smoking back from Bubba. They continue on with their converstaion.
Social Member 1: They track you down here at work and hassle you?
Nick: Yeah, its no big deal. You just gotta give them what they wanna hear. So i told him the cold facts that nobody wants to believe will happen come SuperMania. But hey, life is tough and you pay through the nose sometimes.
Social Member: Your not at all worried about any of these competitors....i mean, they are some tough legends.
Nick stops and gives him that quick "are you serious" look as the inner circle got real quiet. Nick just dead stares this guy as he gets nervous now, regretting what he said.
Nick: What are you deaf?....Didnt i just say i wasnt at all. How do you get far in life not listening. This stage is my show....Kaleb has never been on a stage like this and despite what his brain might tell him to spout out...he knows it deep down inside. Showtime, i have beaten him on this same stage one year ago.....so the odds are always in my favor. They always have, even i lose a few in the beginning...i always come out on top in the end. And this situation (sarcastically sighs)...will be no different.
Social Member 2: Yeah....plus, i really cant see those matches coming out with any outcome then you holding up the gold.
Nick gives him the point of the finger in approval of his comment. The guy seems pleased to get this from Nick as he see's him as a role model.
Nick: You...Thats why your in good company. You see the logic behind what i say. These guys are not so bright, that's why they have to rely on the fans or grew up in some poor towns fighting for money because it might be the only skill they can master. When it comes down to it, in life....you win by smarts, skill and will. Showtime, Shadix and Nitro may each posses a quality or two of them....but not all three like me, and that, ultimately is the deciding factor in life. And it will be the deciding factor at SuperMaina III.
Nick laughs as his buddies chuckles along with him. They have a toast and cheer on their buddy and they all down their drinks. Nick then takes a long puff of his cigar and lets the smoke go out as he has this steady look on his face, prepared to execute his goals in full force. As people walk by in slow motion, patting Nick on the back and handing him wods of money for business transactions....we have the little grin appear on his face for the final shot, symbolizing Nick's intent for the big PPV.
