Reid walked through a door - whether that is the same doors he walked through in the last episode or a completely different door altogether is unknown but Reid leans up against the adjoining wall and again runs his fingers through his hair. He lets out a ragged breath.
Reid - Man... What the hell is wrong with me? Why.. Why can't I just come right out and tell her how I really feel about her? I...
Reid sees out of the corner of his eye his manager - Reiko walking toward him alongside Reck Maverick's tag partner Big Ci.
Reid - Ah... Shit... I don't need this right now damn it... Okay... calm down Reid and focus on the task at hand dude.
Reid reaches behind his back and pulls out a pair of his Big Goofy Glasses and places them over his eyes and a grin rolls across his face as he takes a second to get into character. Reiko is a bit surprised to see Reid out in the hall.
Reiko - Reid? I thought you were in your lair admiring your new belt.
Reiko's gaze drops down to the Championship belt in Reid's hand. Reid looks down himself... he had forgotten that he took it with him when he left the lair. He lifts it up and slings it over his shoulder and pats the center-plate.
Big Ci - Hey, I didn't get a chance to congratulate you at Legendaria. You finally won the big one huh?
Reid - Oh yeah! I've been saying for 3 months that ol' smiley couldn't beat me and I finally proved it.
Reid notices the Valor Title still resting on Ci's shoulder.
Reid - Whoa dude... Did you actually manage to beat Lance and keep that belt? I'm impressed.
Big Ci - Of course I beat him Reck. I showed him what happens to those for disrespect the horsemen, we won't be seeing his greasy ass around here for a LONG, LONG time.
Reid - The Horsemen? Are we still doing that?
A kind of agitated / ticked off look comes across the face of Ci.
Big Ci - Yeah Reck... You haven't forgotten that your smug ass became the "Leader" of the Horsemen.
Reid - Of course I didn't forget Ci...
Actually the whole Horsemen thing hasn't been much of a priority to him lately - what with dealing with Shawn Stevens as well as The Green Ranger.
Big Ci - Speaking of which... Have you found any new recruits yet? Our credibility has been going down since Kez and Diamond left at Americana...
New recruits!? When did Reid have time to look for new guys to wear the colours of the horsemen.
Reid - I've been scouting around... I'm highly impressed with...
Reid thinks of the first two names come to mind.
Reid - Brian Lee and Jason Resurrection!
Both Ci and Reiko raise an eyebrow.
Big Ci - What?
Reiko - The guys you two will be fighting this week?
Reid - Yes... YES! Look at them, They are Yin and Yang! One is a brooding, loner heel and the other is a partying outgoing baby-face! They are perfect!
Big Ci - Except for the fact that they both claim to be dead...
A sarcastic grin crawls across Reid's face.
Reid - Jeez Ci, I didn't realize that the Four Horsemen were prejudice against Dead People... What would you call they Reiko? Necroist?
Reiko - Actually I don't really know... I've never really thought about it.
Big Ci - Okay, okay I'm sorry, but you also have to consider the fact that they aren't all that good in the ring.
Reid - That's a valid point Ci, but I wasn't planning on just giving them the spots in my ranks... That would be plain stupid, It's trial by fire Ci, if they want in they have to be able to defeat US! The two top champions in this company - and considering that in the last 4 months I have beaten the best of the best - Josh Eagles, Kailus Holmes, Flying Diamond Cutter Man, JR Zevon, John Anthony and now Shawn Stevens... Not to mention the list of who's who that you've defeated... George Duke. Lance Erikson... That guy... with the face, That other dude um... yeah! With that in mind do you honestly think that Demon and Resurrection can defeat us?
Reiko laughs a little bit.
Reiko - I wouldn't want to be the poor schmuck that bets on them.
Big Ci - So you're just planing on running over them?
Reid - Oh course Ci... You're not a horsemen unless you are the best of the best... and the only way to the best is to defeat the best... namely us!
A grin emerges on the face of Big Ci.
Big Ci - Yeah, Ok I get what you're saying, They win they are in... They lose...
Reid symbolically dusts off the center-plate of his belt.
Reid - Ashes to ashes, dust to dust... Two dead dorks are slammed back into the Earth's crust... Courtesy of their friendly neighbourhood Ninja.
Ci nods in agreement.
Big Ci - Sounds good mate, anyway I'm off - I got some stuff to do before the match. See ya.
Big Ci turns around and walks away from Reid and Reiko. Reiko turns to Reid, a small frown forms upon her pretty face.
Reiko - Oni and Jason in the Four H club? You just picked two random names didn't you?
Reid - Perhaps...
Reiko - Reid? What's wrong?
Reid - Nothing Reiko.
Reiko - Ok... if you're sure. Anyway I managed to find some new training videos - you should go through them, build your physical toughness - No way Shawn Stevens' should have been able to knock you out for 10 seconds...
Reid - Hey... if it wasn't for the Green Ranger I would've had Shawn beaten in two falls straight...
Reid rubs his jaw.
Reid - I think he had lead injected into his gloves the cheap bastard.
A smile creep along Reiko's face.
Reiko - Even still - After we go through this a couple of times you'll rip right through the Green Ranger and the rest of the locker room.
Reid - Really? Let me see that!
Reiko shrugs and hands Reid a black VHS clamshell case... Reid looks at it, but there is no label. He opens the case raises an eyebrow... still no label. He reseals the case and hands it back to Reiko.
Reid - Where'd you get that? The Black Market?
Reiko - I still have a couple contacts from when I worked for FDCM... Those contacts have contacts... needless to say I can pretty much get my hands on anything I want.
Reid nods his in amazement.
Reid - That's incredible...
Reiko - Yep... c'mon let's go and check it out.
Reid - You go ahead, I'll be there shortly.
She grins and nods and walks through the same doors Reid entered earlier. Reid slips off his BGGs and takes another ragged breath then follows the same path that Reiko just took as the episode comes to an end.
