The scene fades in showing Lestat sitting on a metal fold up chair looking at Greg Kilgreen. Kilgreen shuffles some papers on his desk as he gets things organized. Beginning to get annoyed, Lestat clears his throat.
Lestat: Are you about done Kilgreen? I have things I have to be doing and you are wasting my precious time.
Kilgreen nods and looks to Lestat.
Greg: I’m sorry. I am ready now. I have only a few questions.
Lestat: Make them quick. I must get ready for my match with Splinter and King Cobra.
Kilgreen again nods, understanding the urgency.
Greg: I want to know what you were thinking when you injured Silver, and why we have not heard from him.
Lestat shakes his head hating to answer this question.
Lestat: Greg, you want to know why I did what I did to Silver? It’s simple really. I wanted something so I went for it. I took all the raw emotion I was feeling and let it free. I went to that deep dark place inside that everyone has. I dug down and used that to take out Silver. As far as not hearing from him, I really don’t know. Perhaps he’s in to much pain or, he doesn’t want to see your ugly mug. Either way it doesn’t matter. When Silver is ready to talk to POW, he will. Until then just chill and wait.
Greg: Why did you find it necessary to go into that “dark place” to beat Silver? You’ve stated that he is like a brother to you. Why would you want to harm him like you did?
Lestat shakes his head.
Lestat: Silver IS like a brother to me. I have known him for a very long time, however, I wanted something he had and was willing to pull out all the stops to obtain it. Am I sorry I injured him? Of course I’m sorry. I never intended to cause him that kind of pain and I wish him a speedy recovery. Rite of Chaos will just have to find a way to hold onto the tag team gold while he heals up. If that means I have to defend them both by myself I’ll do it just to keep them safe for his return. Now, as far as me going to my “dark place” to defeat Silver, that wasn’t the plan at first. It just kinda turned out that way.
Greg: How do you feel about facing both Splinter and King Cobra the week before Reckless Abandon?
Lestat stands to his feet and slams his hands down on Kilgreen’s desk.
Lestat: How do I feel? I’m pissed off. I’m beginning to think that management here in Power On Wrestling is out to see my career ended. They try to destroy Rite of Chaos by making us face each other or people close to us, and now they make me go into a triple threat match before the monthly DVD taping event? So yes Greg, I m feeling angry and I’m going to take all of my frustration out on King Cobra and Splinter. I’ll make sure they know the pain I let Silver feel.
Kilgreen leans back in his chair, trying to make some space between him and the furious Lestat.
Greg: It has been rumored that Dan Harvey is coming here to Power On Wrestling. Do you know Dan and if so how do you expect him to receive a warm welcome here in POW?
Lestat sits back down and looks at Greg.
Lestat: I have only heard of Mr. Harvey. All I can really tell you is that Fire is quite excited to have him coming to Power On Wrestling. I do believe she is planing to drop by and pay him a visit soon. She has known him from previous federations she and Mr. Showtime have been in.
Greg: Does Fire seem to think that he will have a warm welcome here in POW?
Lestat nods.
Lestat: Of course. You see, from what I can understood from Fire’s happy ranting, is Dan Harvey has worked with some of the guys here in POW before. I know for certain that he has worked with Mr. Showtime and Fire. I also believe that he has worked with JTN. If you want to know who all he has worked with you should go interview him and quite wasting my time.
Kilgreen tries not to show anger by the disrespect Lestat seems to always show him.
Greg: Do you think you will still be the champion at Reckless Abandon?
Lestat: Of course. Why wouldn’t I be? Do you really think King Cobra or Splinter are a match for me? I’m however sick of all your questions, so this interview is now over Kilgreen.
Lestat stands and walks out of the room, slamming the door behind him. He looks around the hall way seeing various Power On Wrestling stars move about. Shrugging, he makes his way to the parking lot. He walks toward his car, still watching his surroundings very closely. He closes his eyes for a moment and to his surprise he feels a swift boot to the face that knocks him down onto the ground.
Lestat: What the hell!?
He opens his eyes quickly to see a smiling Fire standing near him.
Fire: You’re still easy to sneak up on, but I did see you scanning the area. Good job, you’re improving.
Lestat cracks a smile and stands up. He brushes himself off and takes a few steps toward Fire.
Lestat: Did you have to deliver a Season Ender on me? Don’t you think I got enough of those from Showtime when we were fighting?
Fire smirks.
Fire: Of course not. Until you are constantly aware of your surroundings and can stop me from sending you to the ground with a swift kick then you won’t have had enough of them. If you want to stay double champion, you must not let anything surprise you, not even me; so, sharpen up your skills on knowing where you and your opponents are at all times. If it doesn’t matter if they are known opponents or new ones. Understand?
Lestat nods to Fire knowing what she is telling him is truthful.
Lestat: Yes. I do understand. Thank you for your guidance once again Fire. I thought you were going to go see if you could find Dan?
Fire grins at the mention of that name.
Fire: Yes I will seek him out, but not at this time. I must help you prepare for your Television Title defense. King Cobra is back, and from what I have just seen he is ready to take that gold from you without a second thought.
Lestat sighs and nods.
Lestat: I can understand wanting my gold. I know there are many here in Power On Wrestling who would love to have my Television Title, even you, but I’m not ready to let go of it just yet. He may try to take it if he so wishes, but he won’t succeed. I am leaving with this gold still firmly around my waist. King Cobra and Splinter better bring all they got because I’ll not let either of them take this without one hell of a fight.
Fire’s grin turns into a large smile, knowing that Lestat is getting into the right mind set for his match.
Fire: That is right. Society of Chaos will not let you lose this Television Title. Even though Mr. Showtime and Silver aren’t here, I will be. That being said I’ll join you at ringside and watch you put King Cobra and Splinter into their places. I know you will not lose to them.
Lestat smiles at Fire’s confidence in him.
Lestat: Yes, you are right. I’ll destroy them in the ring leaving them battered and broken.
Fire places her arm around Lestat and smiles.
Fire: Shall we go back to my place and get ready for your match?
Lestat smiles to Fire and nods.
Lestat: Yes, let’s go. I’m sure you have an interesting evening planned.
Fire smirks.
Fire: You’ll hate me before the night is over.
Lestat shakes his head as the two walks off and the scene fades to black.
