A few brief hours after Episode 1...
Central Park... a beautiful place - on the surface... but this park is the heart of the criminal underworld... Muggings, rapes... even murder occurs every minute... but now things are going to be brutal... and a war is about to break out...
City at War... Episode 2: An unexpected ally.
AHHHH!
A man flies through the air and lands on the ground with a thud. He regains his wits and begins to backpedal on his hands and heels as a figure emerges from the shadows carrying a sword.
Man - Get... Get away from me you... you FREAK!
Freak... Freak? Hehehe... That's what your buddies are going to call you on the cell block... well that and "bitch.." but one thing is for sure - you are going to learn that stealing wallets is a baaad thing...
The figure emerges from the shadows - It's Reck Maverick... The Atomic Ninja holding the Blade of Legend. The robber yells in fear and stumbles to his feet and begins to run. Reck pulls out a Kunai attached to length of rope and hurls it at his prey... it pierces his shoulder and lefts out a blooding scream and a grin curls under the mask of the Ninja in black.
Reck Maverick - I've been waiting a long time to say this...
Reck pulls the rope and the robber is ripped backward and crashes to the ground and Reck begins to drag him in...
Reck Maverick - GET OVER HERE!
Drags his victim in and steps on his neck... The man struggles but the kunai shattered his left shoulder blade on impact rendering his left arm useless. Reck lifts his sword into the air and grips the handle with both handle and points the tip of the blade at the victims heart.
Man - No... Please don't... Here's the wallet just DON'T KILL ME MAN! C'mon you have to have a heart.
Reck Maverick - Heart... My heart was stolen when he abducted the women I love!
Man - What the hell are you talking about?!
Reck Maverick - Simply put... Thank the Green Ranger for your death... now it's time to Pay... The... Pi...
Reck begins to look around the part of Central Park that they were in... it was the same spot as his nightmare... All the muscles in his body froze... The man squirmed out from under Maverick's foot and he began to run. Maverick just fell to his knees and slowly looked around. In his mind ran the events of the nightmare through his mind again... Jayde laying lifeless in his arms as the Green Ranger stood over them laughing... A couple tears ran down Maverick's face.
Reck Maverick - Jayde... i'm sorry...
A scream is heard in the night followed by the sound of steel slicing through flesh.... Reck turns his attention to the source of the sound.
"You can thank The Green Ranger for your Death" I have to say... When you're right... You're right.
Reck tightens his grip on the Blade of Legend.
Reck Maverick - So you followed me to New York... Bad news for you buddy... Show yourself.
A very familiar laugh fills the night as the Green Ranger appears holding a blood-stained Sword of Darkness.
Green Ranger - Wow... tough talk from you Maverick... You actually sound like you could beat me... But let's face it... the last two times we went at it... I bested you and your girlfriend... Why don't you just give it up already.
Reck Maverick - Where's Jayde...?!
Green Ranger - Do you think you're a movie hero or something? You can't demand me to do anything.
Reck charges the Green Ranger and swings The Blade of Legend but The Green Ranger brings up the Sword of Darkness and the sword lock... both men are lobbying for dominance.
Reck Maverick - Tell me...
Green Ranger - Never!
The Green Ranger kicks Reck in the stomach breaking up the sword lock and he takes another swing with the Hellfriede Blade but Reck ducks the blade and rolls backward to avoid a second downward swing and Reck sweeps the Ranger off his feet with a classic low sweeping kick to the back on the legs. Reck leaps to his feet and swings his sword down at the Ranger but he rolls out of the way of the blade and kip to his feet and both men swing their blades at each other - only making contact with the other's sword... sparks fly with each contact. Reck unleashes a roundhouse kick that knock the Sword of Darkness out of the Green Ranger's hand but the Green Fiend responds with a tornado kick that likewise knock the Blade of Legend from Maverick's grip.
Reck and Green Ranger begins to throw punches at one another but due to the Ranger's helmet his shots where doing more damage. Reck kicks Green Ranger in the stomach and drops a couple forearms on to his back. Green Ranger pushes Reck back and throws a couple kick aimed at Maverick's chest - he blocks the first two but the third connects. The Green Ranger presses his advantage with a headbunt that rocks Reck Maverick giving him double vision... Green Ranger continues with a couple punches and another Tornado Kick that knocks Reck to the ground... The Ranger grabs his sword and stomps down on Reck Maverick's chest and pointing the blade at Reck's head. The Green Ranger unleashes a triumphant laugh.
Green Ranger - Once again I win Maverick... and now... you... die!!
The Green Ranger is about to finish off Maverick when something hits the Ranger from behind that knocks him off the Atomic Ninja. The Green Ranger turns to face his attacker... A man wearing torn jeans, dirty sneakers, old leather gloves, a white tanktop, and a hockey mask with black messed up hair sticking out it. He wears a golf bag on his back with various equipment and is currently wielding two baseball bats. The Green Ranger tilts his head.
Green Ranger - Who the hell are you?
Jones - The class is Pain 101... Your instructor is Casey Jones!
Green Ranger - Whatever... Prepare to die!
The Green Ranger swings his sword at Jones for dodges it.
Casey Jones - Strike 1 scuzz-bucket!
The Green Ranger roars and swings his sword several more times - each time The Vigilante Casey Jones avoids the swings.
Casey Jones - Strike 42... Strike 93... Man you suck at this don't you? Anyway - NEW BATTER!
Jones swings his dual baseball bats at the Ranger... The Ranger avoids all the swings and kicks Jones down.
Green Ranger - How dare you mock me... I will make you death painful and then... I finish the Ninja - once and for all.
Casey Jones - Whoa dude... You beat me... 1... 2... 3...
Jones discreetly removes a golf club from his bag and swings up nailing The Ranger in the chin.
Casey Jones - FORE!
The Ranger vanishes from sight and Jones approaches Maverick and offer him a hand up that Reck accepts.
Casey Jones - Hey bud... you ok?
Reck grabs the back of his head and shakes it.
Reck Maverick - Yeah... I'm golden. Shit! Where did The Green Ranger go!?
Casey Jones - The Douchebag in the Halloween costume? I think he ran away.
Reck Maverick - DAMN IT!
Reck punches a tree.
Casey Jones - What's the story?
Maverick looks at Casey Jones.
Reck Maverick - The son of a bitch abducted someone very important to me... I have got to find him.
Casey Jones - Hey I got some friends... underground that could help you find him.
Reck Maverick - No... I must do this alone... I owe you one though...
Casey Jones - Forget it...
Reck Maverick - Fair enough... Ninja Vanish!
Maverick drops a smoke pellet that explodes into a cloud of dust that sends Jones into a coughing fit as Maverick disappears... The smoke dissipates and Jones lifts up his mask...
Casey Jones - Whao... Another Ninja? I gotta tell Raph and the others about THIS!
