The Black Rose, many Bostonians know if you want a good drink and a steak, take a turn down State Street and go through the red door to sit and be merry. For some of the less respectable characters that come to the city by the bay it’s busy enough and people pay no mind in general to anyone that doesn’t want to be bothered to hash out some business without the fear of being overheard. Mick was one of the normal people but some habits are hard to break, especially if you had a coup in mind. He sipped lightly at his pint and waited thinking of the actions he had been taking to the Hunter family as of late. He wasn’t focusing on doubts anymore, like he did in the beginning. Now he focused on how to beat them, how to get rid of them, how to have the show become even better than the Midwest branch. Not that he wanted to run the shows or the promotion, no far from it, he wanted POW: NE to succeed. Mick knew though when he came back that there would be no way with the Hunter’s in power that it could happen. But if he got rid of both of them who would take their place. Randall stated tat he was done with the biz and Tito, well Tito had not been seen for weeks….so who? That what was eating him not the how but the who.
The how would be easy enough. He needed some backing. Some guys that where not to happy with all the changes, all the short sighted schemes of the Hunter Regime. He needed those guys, but more importantly he needed one of those guys to have gold around their waist. Cormac would have rather waited to have a belt around his waist before he started gathering the at least three other men he needed to do what was required but time was of the essence. With Capaci gone wherever and the factions of the Royal Flush and the Four Horsemen being improperly booked now was the time to give NE the faction it hadn’t had yet. Who better to start it than Mick Cormac? Soon Mick was knocked from his thoughts as he saw the man he’d been waiting for to arrive. He motioned to the lone figure standing in the doorway to come take a seat.
Cormac: Glad to see that you could come.
Mystery Man: It’s been a while since we sat down.
Cormac: I’m surprised you did show considering what I did do to you a couple months back.
Mystery Man: Mick you are forgiven for that but I don’t mean to be rude, why did you want to talk to me about?
Cormac: Listen man you know I don’t like the Hunter’s
Mystery Man: Trust me man you are not alone.
Cormac: See I knew you would feel the same way, so I figured why just sit back and complain we are both men of action and we’re pretty well respected by most in the biz….
Mystery Man: Are you thinking of dethroning the kings with a army of guys.
Cormac: Well at least four or so.
Mystery Man: I don’t know Mick you come to me and ask this favor and you haven’t even ordered me a drink yet.
Cormac (with a smile): Oh brother you know I wouldn’t leave my worst enemy without a drink.
Mystery Man: So I could see from the tape you sent on to the whole Eastern seaboard cable networks.
Cormac (motioning for the mans drink to be brought): Well I had to get the word out some how.
Mystery Man: Well if anything is to be said about you it’s that you know how to get the word out with that mouth of yours. Hmmm…a peach wine cooler I didn’t know you Irish guys had these at your bars.
Cormac: Buddy there’s a lot you don’t know yet.
Mystery Man: Before I tell you my answer Mick for this ludicrous idea which will probably get us both killed, I have got to think it over and you have to answer me one question…
Cormac: What’s that?
Buddy Love: Do you think that red head over there would like to earn some Buddy Beads?
