In Dave's hotel bedroom, Dave and Jack once again sit on his bed as Jack forces Dave to let him use his t.v. This time, Jack plays a recorded catminster commercial over and over again, reacting the same "giggly schoolgirl" way each time.
Dave: Are you never going to get tired of this?
Jack: Why would I?
Dave: God, this is madness.
Jack: Madness? THIS, IS, CATS! Everyone loves cats!
Dave: I'm sure...ugh, I'm just going to go out. Behave, please?
Jack: Of course! You know, I think I'm going to help you tonight at ringside. I want to make sure Eddie doesn't screw you over like he did last time! Especially since that sounds painful...
Dave: Uh...thanks? I don't really care about morality in this match tonight. I've tried to keep you guys out of it before, but screw that. I'll be damned if I let him get over on me again. Do what you feel like.
Dave walks out the door, and makes his way to the Air Force Base. Walking around backstage to get to the locker room, he runs into Lee Cash. Lee stops him, and begins to ask him a few questions.
Lee: Hey Dave, wait up. You think you could have a word with me?
Dave: Sure. Nothing better to do...Well, just about anything would be better than talking to you lately, so that actually means I have nothing else to do. So shoot, I guess.
Lee: Why is Jack not here yet?
Dave: He's waiting on Lee to get back to the hotel. Then he's going to come in ring gear.
Lee: He usually dresses casually. Does that mean Jack is going to be seeing action tonight?
Dave: Who knows. I uh...don't Jack can exactly be controlled for tonight, if you know what I mean.
Lee: I think I do, heh. Just some security, eh?
Dave: Call it what you want. Eddie isn't going to escape his fate once again. That belt is mine, and I am taking it!
Lee: Well, I would personally like to wish you good luck. Anything else you'd like to say?
Dave: Stephie is a better interviewer. I'm not really having fun right now, so it's time for me to go warm up.
Dave walks away, leaving Lee looking stupefied. He slams the locker room door behind him.
