Power On Wrestling presents... The Road to "Reckless Abandon" (The show opens up with every POW Superstar standing in the ring. This has never happened before in POW, so what comes next is sure to be important. We then cut to the announcers table.) Pilgrim: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the show! My name is Alex Pilgrim and sitting beside me is my broadcast colleague, Tony Almanti! Almanti: Shut up, Alex! I can introduce myself. My name is Tony Almanti and sitting beside me is the trained puppet- Alex Pilgrim! (Alex grins half-heartedly and then continues on.) Pilgrim: We are not exactly sure what is going on here. We're as lost as you are, folks. There was a memo backstage that stated that at the top of the show- every wrestler had to be in the ring. Almanti: I'm sure there is one or two missing though, but I can't get a good view because there are literally over 30 men and women waiting around to see what the point of this all is! (All of the lights in the Ameristar go dark as one single spotlight shines in front of the entrance curtain. As “Not Going Away” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to start up, Rich Morrison appears out of the curtain and steps into the vicinity of the spotlight. Rich looks around and scans the crowd a bit. The crowd is booing loudly as Rich Morrison arrogantly stands there with a huge grin on his face. He uses his right arms to take the POW TV Title from off his shoulder and raise it above his head. He slings it back over his shoulder.) Almanti: Oh my god, I was right! There was someone missing from the ring! Morrison always makes a good entrance! Pilgrim: No, Tony! No! Rich Morrison isn't a member of the POW Roster anymore. Almanti: Then why is he here!? (Rich takes a microphone out from the inside of this suit jacket. He then presses it up to his mouth.) Morrison: Power On Wrestling...did you miss me? Pilgrim: Miss him? He's been gone...what? 7 days!? Morrison: For those of you who want to know why I am here, I will get to that in a second. But first, let me show you a clip of what happened two weeks ago... (Rich then smiles once again. He puts the microphone back to his mouth.) Morrison: Sorry, I had to just watch that again. Every time I see that clip, my ego grows and grows and grows... (Finally a voice is heard. It is that of Jay T. Nitro. He appears out of the curtain and stands next to Rich Morrison.) JTN: Rich, why are you still here? No, better yet- why did I get a memo from my secretary saying that I was forced to come here tonight because YOU said so? (Rich laughs a bit. He then takes a deep breath.) Morrison: Well Jay, remember how Tito Capaci used to own this company way back when? JTN: Yeah... what's your point? Nobody has seen or heard from him in months! Morrison: Well, before your brother Shawn and I took him out permanently- I...kind of...explained to him the importance of being a publicly traded company. (The look on JTN's face turns grim as he puts his face in his palm.) JTN: Oh no... Morrison: Oh yes! You see, 3 hours before The Royal Flush put Capaci out, he signed POW into the stock market! Which means, ANYONE can buy stock and be a percentage owner... JTN: You... Morrison: I bought the majority stock of Power On Wrestling! (The ring full of wrestlers become loud and disorderly. As they calm down, Rich continues.) Morrison: This is MY show now, Jay T. Nitro. All of this...this...hillbilly redneck wrestling show! But don't worry, I have plans for that too. As a matter of fact... ("Money" by Pink Floyd starts up as Nick Pickles just power walks to the entrance way.) Pickles: Listen here, you little punk! I am the POW Commissioner! I have the power here. You can claim all of this, but we have no proof... (Rich pulls out the contract from his suit jacket. He shows Nick. Nick takes a big gulp.) Pickles: I don't care! Do you know who I am?! Morrison: Yeah, you're Nick Pickles- FORMER POW COMMISSIONER! (Nick turns a pale shade of white.) Pilgrim: Oh my god! Rich has just fired The Commish! Almanti: He's... the owner! He can do whatever he wants! Morrison: Now, get out of here before I beat the crap out of you! (Nick puts his head down and walks away.) Pilgrim: If this is signs of things to come, then I fear for our jobs Tony! Almanti: I don't! I've always liked Morrison. Hell, I'm a card carrying member of the Rich Morrison fan club! Pilgrim: No your'e not! Almanti: Yes I am! I've got the card somewhere here in my wallet... Jay T. Nitro: So...it's true... Morrison: Oh yeah. (Nitro walks to the back, without a word being said after that.) Morrison: Now that the CLUTTER is removed from the entrance way- as new owner of POW, I figure that I might as well start off with a bang. Every person in that ring right now is on probation. I don't care if you're name is Silver, Bailey or Flying Diamond Cutter Man! If you fail to produce in that ring, I will fail to give you a paycheck... Speaking of paychecks. JTN was looking for someone to fund POW, someone to help launch POW into the stratosphere. Well, you're looking at him right now! My pockets are deep, my creativity is unparalleled and my ego is ever expansive. Tonight...is doing to be a good show. I can feel it. (Morrison laughs as we fade into a commercial.)

POW Open Weight Championship Match Cory Barnett (c) vs. Flap Flanagan
(We fade into the show with both Cory Barnett currently standing ringside. Flap Flanagan darts to ringside, not even wanting an introduction. Flap means business! The ref makes Flap go to his corner as the crowd comes alive.)
Cory Barnett charges at Flap Flanagan, who is standing in a corner of the ring drinking a Dr. Pepper. Flap doesn’t notice the attack, and finds himself slammed into the turnbuckle. He loses his grip on the bottle of Dr. Pepper and the crowd watches in slow motion, as it falls to the ground. Alf’s jaw drops as he looks to Flap. A look of intense hatred suddenly drops over the big eared Canadian’s face. Cory Barnett just smiles. Flap rushes Cory and slams his fist right into the teenager’s sternum. Cory tries to back pedal away, but Flap stops him with a Russian leg sweep. Flap leaps onto the top turnbuckle, and back flips off, landing on top of the champion, and locks his leg. 1… 2… Flap lifts up Cory’s hand, breaking the pin.
Almanti: I can’t believe how vicious Flap is in the ring tonight.
Pilgrim: If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Flap Flanagan it’s you never spill his Dr. Pepper.
Flap pulls Cory up by the hair of his head, and slams it down into his right knee. Then slams it down into his left knee, and finishes by jumping into the air and slamming Cory’s head into both knees. With both feet back on the ground Flap pitches Cory back to the mat. Cory stirs and starts to rise, just to find himself kicked in the ribs by the big eared Canadian. Cory rolls and Flap follows. Barnett stops at the ropes and watches as Flanagan prepares to baseball slide him, and knock him out of the ring. Flap powers forward, and starts his slide, but Barnett sits bolt up right, causing Flap to slide out of the ring.
Almanti: That has to hurt!
Flap lands on the floor beside the ring and arches his back, pain coursing through his body. 1… The ref starts the count out as Cory Barnett just sits on the mat staring down at Flap. 2… Flap slowly stands and looks to Barnett, hate continuing to fill his eyes. 3… Cory jumps to his feet, and springboards himself into the air from the top rope. 4… Flap Steps to the side and kicks Barnett as he lands. 1… Barnett falls as his knees give way under the force of gravity, and Flap’s kick. 2…
Pilgrim: This is turning into one of the most brutal matches I’ve seen.
Pilgrim: You’re right about… Hey what’s Alf doing?
Alf was standing on the top turnbuckle arguing with the ref. On the other side of the ring, Flap was taking advantage of the argument by pulling a chair out from under the ring. He set up the chair, and picked up the dazed Cory Barnett. Cory didn’t fight as he was led blindly towards the chair.
Almanti: What’s Flap planning with that chair?
Pilgrim: I don’t know but, I hope the ref catches on soon.
Flap lined it up, took a hold of Cory’s chin, and dropped him with the Flanchiser. Straight into the Steel Chair!
Almanti: That’s the Flanchiser!
Flap picked up Cory, and tossed him back into the ring. Alf jumped off the top turnbuckle, ending his argument. Flap locked Cory’s leg, as the ref turned around. 1… 2… 3…
Winner: Flap Flanagan
Almanti: We’ve had a very interesting match out of Flap our new Open-Weight Champion.

(The cameras rush down a corridor as we see Gypsy laid out cold! Someone has attacked her and ran off. It's an awful sight to see, there is blood stained on the floor of the Ameristar Arena. This isn't good!)
Greg Kilgreen: Folks...
(He kneels down next to Gypsy.)
Greg Kilgreen: Someone has attacked Gypsy and laid her out cold! I don't know who did it, but I'm not about to stick around and find out.
(Greg runs off as we pan out and fade.)

POW Television Championship Contender Match Anything Goes! Chris Carnage vs. Reggie Starr vs. Gypsy vs. Calvin Bando vs. President Robert Pliskin vs. Lestat vs. Mick Cormac
Almanti: Well, our competitors have arrived in the ring for our next match. It also looks like Gypsy isn't gonna be able to make it tonight.
Pilgrim: An anything goes Number One Contendership match for the Television Title.
Lestat charges at Mick Cormac, and slams his elbow right into the Irish Brawler, knocking him to the ground. Calvin Bando leapt from the top rope aiming at Lestat, but the older man dodged and Bando landed on Cormac. Reggie Starr charged at President Pliskin with a chair readied for a tremendous swing, but Prez dodged the blow, and kicked out Starr’s knee knocking him to the ground. Carnage ripped the chair out of Starr’s hands, and connected with Pliskin’s back. Carnage went for the pin. 1…., but was broken out of the pin, nearly as soon as he locked it in by a Double Axe Hammer from Lestat. Lestat picked Carnage up, Irish Whipped him over top of the top ropes, and then punched him in the face to cause him to fall to the floor below.
Almanti: I hope Lestat knows that this isn’t an elimination match.
Mick Cormac had retrieved Carnage’s chair, and charged at Lestat. But the taller man dodged the blow, and slammed his elbow back into the Brawler’s face yet again. Cormac dropped the chair, and Lestat turned him around to face him. Lestat picked up the chair and threw it at Mick. The instant Mick caught it; a Season Ender (Superkick) slammed it into his face. Blood burst from The Irish Brawler’s nose as he crashed to the ground. Reggie Starr jumped up climbed up onto the top turnbuckle, but Lestat stopped him with a newly acquired, slightly bent chair.
Pilgrim: Lestat is definitely the dominant force in this match.
Almanti: He’s been steamrolling the competition.
Lestat turned away from Starr and looked right at Calvin Bando, and the slightly revived President Pliskin. Pliskin charged, and Lestat dropped, slamming the top of the chair into his foot. Pliskin’s eyes widened as Lestat slammed the same part of the chair into Prez’s stomach. Bando charged at Lestat, and found a chair striking his sternum. The wind blasted out of Bando’s lungs, as Lestat pitched the chair aside. Lestat preformed his Wings of an Angel finisher and pinned Bando. 1… 2… 3…
Winner: Lestat
Pilgrim: Lestat is now the number one contender for the TV Title. I can’t wait to see who he’s going to be facing for that gold!
Almanti: For once, I agree with you.

Graves vs. Meltdown
Heavy static begins to blare over the announce system, followed by a robotic voice pounding through everyone's eardrums. "WE DO AWAY WITH YOUR KIND." "COUNTDOWN TO EXTERMINATE THE HUMAN RACE. FOUR. THREE. TWO. ONE." Deep metal guitars and double-bass drums kick in, as Graves throws back the curtain and walks out, his head staring downwards towards the ring. He walks down to the ring, ignoring any gestures made by fans. Once down to the ring, he climbs up the steps, then steps into the ring through the middle of the ropes. He forms the shape of the metal horns, and raises his arms in an X, getting a mixed reaction as his music fades off.
As the opening guitar riffs of "Aenema" by Tool play, blue smoke pours out of the entrance for a short while as the first verse plays.
As the chorus kicks in, the smoke quickly stops and Meltdown walks out quickly, tightening his mask and walking down the ramp quickly with Tavi by his side. He slaps the hands of a few fans before walking quickly up the steps and entering the ropes, getting onto one knee and bowing his head. Tavi slides in and takes off the mask, kissing him on the forehead. She takes off his robe and folds it over her shoulder, placing the mask onto the turnbuckle before sliding out. Meltdown starts pacing around the ring, staring out his opponent.
Graves runs towards Meltdown and kicks him in the head! Meltdown is knocked unconscious! He begins to kick a downed Meltdown.
Graves then picks up Meltdown and nails a "Holy Rolling Suicide"!
1....
2....
3....
We have a winner!
(Graves begins to kick Meltdown again as the ref shoos him away from a lifeless Meltdown.)

The camera cuts to the backstage area, where Josh Eagles is confidently waltzing through one of the backstage corridors. As he passes a small stack of POW's equipment, he fails to notice Kyle Neverwinter sitting on top of one of them. Kyle jerks his head up and smiles, knowing who it was.
Kyle Neverwinter: Josh Eagles.
Josh stops his pace and turns his head, questioning where the calling came from. Kyle hops casually off the stack and cockily walks up towards Josh, who doesn't seem that impressed by the Fate's presence.
Kyle Neverwinter: I guess we should say welcome back.
The dull cheers from the audience can be heard from the back.
Josh Eagles: Well... looks like we have a newbie.
Kyle Neverwinter: A newbie?
Josh Eagles: Wait a minute, I know who you are. You're that guy who got his ass kicked by Night last week, right?
Kyle's smirk soon went as Josh noticed he touched a nerve.
Kyle Neverwinter: Least I was involved in Legendaria. Unlike you.
Another nerve touched, this time on Josh's end.
Josh Eagles: In case you didn't watch, I was involved. I was the one standing at the end of the show.
Kyle chuckled as Josh got in closer, trying to intimidate him.
Kyle Neverwinter: Sure you were standing at the end, but you didn't win the World Championship and Reck won the Midwest Championship. Guess you lost all of your chances.
Josh didn't take kindly to being reminded about his shortcomings, and caught Kyle off guard with a slap across the face before storming off. Kyle checked his jaw as the scene faded to black.

POW Television Championship 3 Way Dance Scott Lanegan vs. Eddie Jones vs. Silver
“(Can’t You) Trip Like I Do” by Filter hits the arena as Scott walks out of the curtain. He looks around at the area, familiarizing his surroundings. He then steps into the ring as if nothing special had happened.
“Metalingus” by Alter Bridge hits as Silver walks out into the arena and stretches his arms out, fists closed. He begins to walk towards the ring, and talks to the fans for a moment, before bolting down the ramp, and baseball sliding into the ring. He arches his back up and jumps to his feet. He then climbs up to the top turn buckle and outstretches his arms. He jumps down, removes his unnecessary clothing, and pitches it onto the announcer table.
*You're always saying that there's something wrong... I'm starting to believe it's your plan all along...
Death came around, forced to hear its song... And know tomorrow can't be depended on.*
Eddie Jones appears in the crowd at the top of the lower level in a very Sandman-esque manner. Dangling from his mouth is a cigarette. He takes a puff and exhales before putting the cigarette back in his mouth. He stands at the top of the stairway and stares down into the crowd. He raises one of his arms high into the air.
*I seen the home inside your head,... All locked doors and unmade beds. Open sores unattended Let me say just once that*
Eddie makes his way down the stairs slowly as the crowd both cheers and boos at him. He looks around at the crowd occasionally and takes an occasional drag from his cigarette as he descends the steps.
*I have faced it,... A life wasted,... I'm never going back again.
I escaped it,... A life wasted,... I'm never going back again.*
Eddie stops a moment when he gets to the barrier and takes a final drag on his cigarette. He exhales and drops his cigarette to the ground and crushes it out with his foot. He climbs over the barrier and rolls under the bottom rope.
Huff: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Power On Wrestling Midwest Television Title. Introducing first, from Seattle, Washington. He weighs in at 260 pounds. SCOTT LANEGAN!
The crowd responds with a mixed reaction, mostly cheering but some booing.

(Rich Morrison is seen fixing the name on his door. He smiles as he opens the door and walks inside. We see Nick Pickles standing inside with a smile on his face. Rich closes the door behind him.)
Rich: Nick. Seriously. Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough already tonight? Enough with the proposals, enough with the ideas. I released you from your commissioner job. I don't have anything else for you to do besides selling popcorn...
Nick: No need for that, because the idea I came up with now is SURE to save MY job, make YOUR job easier and make ratings SKYROCKET!
(Rich sighs.)
Rich: Alright, you've got 3 minutes to shoot me this idea. If I don't like it, you can leave the office and never come back. Okay?
(Nick hesitates but then agrees.)
Nick: Okay, first- we take the top 4 guys in POW...
(The office door bursts open and three police officers tackle and arrest Nick Pickles. The scene is fast and the cameraman is shaking. This is like a scene on the show "Cops". This is real, folks.)
Nick: What is this? What are you doing to me?
Officer: You have the right to remain silent...anything you do...
Nick: The hell I'll be silent! What am I being charged with!?
Officer: Criminal theft. You stole someone property.
Nick: I did what?! What did I steal?
(The camera pans wide screen as we see Night in the doorway, waving his AAA medallion.)
Night: You stole my AAA medallion from me, Nick. You claim it was in POW Headquarters... but the truth... it was in my house. So,I called the cops.
Nick: Why you little...
(The officers drag Nick out of the office and into the corridor. We hear him screaming for his lawyer as Rich Morrison looks at Night. Both men have an unenthusiastic look on their face. Finally, Night smiles.)
Night: Well, now that Nick is out of BOTH of our hairs, I have to get ready for my match.
Rich: Good luck. Oh...and Night?
Night: Yeah?
Rich: We've had our differences in the past...but...thanks for getting Nick arrested.
(Fade to next scene as they laugh.)

Pilgrim: Least 30 feet from the top of the stairs to the bottom.

Almanti: He can pull off some crazy shit.
Shadow comes running in hitting a clothesline on Mr. Showtime. Mr. Showtime slumps down and crawls down the stairs. Shadow follows kicking him in the back a couple times. Mr. Showtime gets down to the bottom of the stairs as EMT’s are looking at Hellfire. Shadow passes them by perusing Mr. Showtime. Shadow picks up Mr. Showtime and leans down pulling him into a tombstone position. Shadow hits a Demon Drop (tombstone Piledriver) as Mr. Showtime head hits the ground is then slumps down instead of falling. Shadow pushes him over and covers. 1… 2… Kick out by Mr. Showtime. Shadow sits up surprised.
Pilgrim: Almost over.
Almanti: Yes but Showtime isn’t that easy to beat.
Shadow looks around as Saya comes running in the picture with his sword. Shadow smiles and takes it as Mr. Showtime is using a table to help him stand. Shadow raises the sword comes down but the sword goes through the table as Mr. Showtime moves. Showtime waits for Shadow as he turns around. Mr. Showtime hits Shadow with a STO through the table. Mr. Showtime keeps an arm over Shadow. The ref counts. 1… 2… Saya runs in and pulls Showtime’s arm off Shadow breaking the pin fall. Showtime gets up and grabs her hair.
Pilgrim: Showtime has her hair.
Almanti: He wouldn’t hurt a female would he?
Pilgrim: No.
Suddenly Mr. Showtime starts shouting.
Mr. Showtime: You tell Shadow that contract for me and rest of Society of Chaos to leave him is a NO DEAL!
Showtime only laughs
Pilgrim: Shadow’s contract been turned down by Mr. Showtime.
Almanti: Looks like Shadow is going to have to deal with Mr. Showtime for the rest of his life.
Pilgrim: Oh well.
Mr. Showtime grabs Saya by the shirt and spins her around. Her shirt comes ripping off as she fly’s off screen. My Showtime looks surprised not expecting it to come off like that. He holds it up and pulls out a bra out of the shirt. He looks over to Saya who is off screen and tilts his head. Shakes his head and laughs and tosses her clothes back at her.
Mr. Showtime: You have nothing compared to Fir…
Shadow comes running in hitting Mr. Showtime with a sledge hammer like move. Shadow follows Mr. Showtime breathing hard. He pulls off Mr. Showtime black tanktop and leans back hits and open palm slap on Showtime chest. Showtime falls to his knees holding his chest. Shadow kicks Showtime in the head as he falls back. Shadow smiles and gets on box and prepare for a Spear off it. Mr. Showtime gets up as Shadow launches. Mr. Showtime quickly hits a Season Ender on Shadow in mid air cutting off the Impeller. Mr. Showtime lays there breathing hard with smirk.
Almanti: Season Ender!
Pilgrim: This can be over he can cover him.
Showtime makes it to his feet and notices a sledge hammer sitting beside a box. He walks over and picks it up. He looks to Shadow trying to get up on all four. Mr. Showtime walks over and hits Shadow in the head with golf like swing. He even yells out four. He walks over to the broken table and pulls Shadow sword out then bring its over in front of Shadow. Shadow with a bloody face and pool of blood under him slowly tries to reach for it. Mr. Showtime swings the sledgehammer over head and shatters the sword into many pieces. Showtime drops the sledgehammer and laughs.
Almanti: He broke the sword!
Pilgrim: Shadow can get a new one.
Almanti: No the symbolism there.
Pilgrim: Really?
Almanti: He broke the sword says he broke Shadow.
Mr. Showtime picks up a piece of the shattered sword and walks to Shadow and puts a knee into lower back keeping him in place. Mr. Showtime leans down starting to carve into Shadow’s back. Blood comes flowing down the side as Shadow is screaming for Mr. Showtime to stop. Showtime only smirks continuing the cutting of Shadow’s flesh. Mr. Showtime gets up tossing the piece to the side. Mr. Showtime wipes the blood off his hand onto his chest. Ref is checking Shadow who is in major pain.
Pilgrim: Oh my god. Showtime just autographed Shadow’s back with piece of the broken sword.
Almanti: Look at all the blood. They have to stop this!
Pilgrim: After all this, The Order, Move after move. Showtime has beaten them and Shadow.
Mr. Showtime pushes Shadow over on his back as Shadow flinches in pain from the autograph on his back. Mr. Showtime sits on his for the cover. Ref falls and begins to count. 1… 2… Mr. Showtime stands up breaking the count and holds his arms. His face is dripping with blood. Mr. Showtime walks to Shadow feet and leans down picking up his foot and applies the Cult Classic. (Anklelock). Shadow grins as the ref checks him. Shadow finally shakes his head yes as the bell rings. Ref tells Showtime to let go.
Winner: Mr. Showtime via Submission.
Almanti: We have a winner!
Pilgrim: Mr. Showtime!
Refs trying to get Showtime but Mr. Showtime isn’t letting go. Other refs begin to come trying to pull him off but Mr. Showtime keeps it locked in. Lestat comes running him shoving the refs out of the way as he yells at Mr. Showtime to let go. Mr. Showtime looks to him and gives Shadow’s ankle one more twists and let’s goes of it. The refs tend to Shadow right away as Lestat gets between Shadow and Mr. Showtime. Mr. Showtime smiles as Lestat takes Showtime’s arm and rises in victory. Cancer California by Bullets and Octane begins to play again as Lestat and Showtime walk off. The camera pans down to Shadow being put on a stretcher and being wheeled off.
Pilgrim: Shadow is going to be treated.
Almanti: The battle is won and Mr. Showtime came out the king.
Pilgrim: We will keep everyone updated on the condition of Shadow. Wow, tonight- the EMT's are really working hard!
Almanti: Mr. Showtime was out for blood and blood he got it.

Main Event Josh Eagles vs. John Anthony
Pilgrim: I just can’t get my mind off that last match, what a competition!!
Almanti: Those two went to the limit, there is no doubt about it those New England guys can get it done.
Pilgrim: You better believe it! But that means it’s time for our Main Event John Anthony vs Josh Eagles, this should be classic.
Almanti: Yeah, it’s time to see how well Josh’s knee is holding up.
The camera pans back to the ring where Huff is standing with the mic in his hands.
Huff: Ladies and Gentleman the following contest is your Main Event of the evening and is schedueled for a one fall and will be a non title match up.
As the first line of “The Way I Are” hits, two purple spotlights begin shining on the entrance curtain. As the techno beat begins, a cascade of strobe lights begin flickering throughout the stage area as John appears from the curtain with his hands held in the air. A foxy vixen by the name of Julia Sven emerges just afterwards dressed promiscuously with the Eastern Heavyweight Championship in her hands. As the chorus hits, she drapes the title over John Anthony’s shoulder. He pats the belt, removes his shades, and begins walking towards the ring as the purple spotlights follow his movements.
Huff: Introducing first hailing from Nashville, Tennessee and weighing in at 217lbs, he is your POW Eastern Heavyweight Champion, John Anthonyyyyyyy!
Greeting the fans and pumping up the crowd, he runs up the stairs, jumps into the ring, and holds his championship belt high. Julia follows him into the ring and poses seductively as John begins stretching for his match.
“Fly Like An Eagle” begins to pump out of the system and the fans go equally as crazy as Josh Eagles bursts out through the curtains with his hands high in the air, putting much more weight on his left leg then his right. Josh walks back and forth on the top of the ramp pointing to the crowd and then takes off on his best sprint toward the ring sliding under the bottom rope and quickly leaping onto one of the turnbuckles with his hands raised high in the air.
Huff: And now introducing hailing from Belleville, Ontario, Canada, weighing in tonight at 168lbs and making his return to the ring, he is the CHAMPION OF THE PEOPLE, Josh Eaglessssss!!!
JOHN ANTHONY VS JOSH EAGLES
Huff climbs out of the ring as referee Benny Lawson calls for the bell. Anthony and Eagles approach the center of the ring and slap hands in a quick show of respect and then walk back to their respective corners to allow Lawson to check them for weapons, Lawson also spends a great deal of time inquiring over the state of Josh’s knee but he refuses to withdraw from the match.
Pilgrim: We are seconds away from the start of what should be a classic match up.
Almanti: The match hasn’t even started yet and Josh has been asked if he would like to quit, how good can that knee be?
Lawson goes back to the center of the ring and signals for the match to begin and both Anthony and Eagles start circling the ring watching each other, Eagles staying very close to the ropes and laying his right hand on it for support. After a moment they come to the center of the ring for a collar and elbow tie up and Josh is pushed back to the corner with no effort at all from Anthony. Lawson gets in between to break it up and Anthony backs away cleanly then stands in the center of the ring and points at Josh and begins to clap, getting the crowd going as well.
Pilgrim: Now that is a great show of respect by Anthony, there is a reason he is one of the most loved champs in the POW.
Almanti: Really, I thought he was just being stupid.
Eagles smiles and comes out of the corner and gets smacks hands with Anthony before they go into another lock up, but Eagles moves faster and gets behind Anthony with a hammerlock, that Anthony quickly reverses into one of his own, but Eagles keeps the chain going and spins out and locks Anthony in a front face lock, only to have it reversed into a wrist lock. Anthony twists hard and flips Eagles onto the mat, but he quickly kips up deftly landing on only his good leg and reveres it into a side headlock and then a headlock take over. Anthony reaches up with his legs to wrap Eagles head, but Eagles releases the hold and rolls to the side getting to one knee as Anthony is forces to roll through.
Pilgrim: Josh Eagles has been in this game for a long time and he knows with that hurt leg he can’t afford to let John Anthony gain any momentum.
Almanti: Really? Here I thought he was just trying to keep his head from being squashed!!
Anthony and Eagles are both on one knee looking at each other with smiles on their faces. They get up and once again go into a lock up, but this time Anthony pulls Eagles into a headlock, Eagles backs them up and whips Anthony off the ropes, but as he comes back Anthony takes Eagles down with a shoulder block then wastes no time picking him back up and nailing him with a hard forearm and then dropping him with a quick snap suplex and floating over right into the cover. Lawson gets down and counts.
1
Not even close Eagles is out before the two count even hits. Anthony quickly locks Eagles in a reverse chin lock and begins pulling back applying pressure to the neck of Eagles, all the while giving nervous glances at Eagles leg.
Almanti: Ok, I am going to have to say John’s strategy is confusing me, Eagles has a big bloody bulls eye on his leg!
Pilgrim: I think John wants to beat Josh without injuring his leg any further if he can!
Almanti: Well that is a fool thing to do, if Eagles has a weakness you HAVE to exploit it.
Pilgrim: Well maybe for John it is as a last resort!
Back in the ring Eagles has managed to make the ropes and Anthony releases the hold right away and backs off as Eagles uses the ropes to help him back to his feet. Eagles and Anthony stare at each other again, then approach the center of the ring for another lock up, but this time Eagles explodes out of nowhere using his bad leg to connect with a spinning wheel kick taking Anthony down. He rolls holding his leg for a moment, but then wastes no time going after Anthony and trying to lock in the Eagles Claw (Triangle Choke) but Anthony quickly gets to the ropes before he can get the move locked in.
Eagles releases the hold and gets back to his own feet, favoring his leg still and waits for Anthony to get to his own feet. Anthony rushes at Eagles and tries for a clothesline, but Josh is ready and takes Anthony over with an arm drag and holds it right into a arm bar, but Anthony quickly gets his feet on the bottom rope and Eagles is forced to release the hold once again. Anthony again gets up and rushes Eagles, but Eagles hits a swift drop toe hold sending Anthony to the mat and then jumping up into the side headlock once again, but Anthony gets to his feet and Eagles maintains the hold until Anthony tries to nail him with a back suplex, but Eagles flips backwards out of the move and as soon as he hits the canvas he crumples to the mat with the force of his own weight driving down on his knee.
Pilgrim: This could be a bad sign for Josh!
Almanti: Why is Anthony just standing there?
Back in the ring Lawson is checking on Eagles and Anthony is just standing there looking at him a look of confusion on his face as he watches Josh hold his knee in pain! Finally the ref goes away and Josh uses the ropes to get back up and now a lot more weight on his left leg and he shoots Anthony a dirty look and screams at him “I want you to give me 100%!!”
Pilgrim: Is it just me or is Eagles mad Anthony didn’t go after him?
Almanti: Is it just me or is Eagles an idiot?
Pilgrim: He wants to give it everything for the people! But I don’t know how smart it is.
Anthony shrugs shaking his head as Eagles limps toward him and goes into a lock up then quickly drops to one knee and takes Anthony over in a fireman’s carry and drops him on the mat and once again goes for the Eagles Claw and this time gets it locked in, Anthony screams in pain as Josh pulls back on it and Lawson asks if he wants to quit but Anthony shakes his head no and reaches with his feet and finds the bottom rope. Josh is quick to break the hold and get to his feet, but doesn’t back away as Anthony gets to his feet, the second he reaches his feet Josh buries a knee in his gut and hits a swinging neck breaker that puts John right back on the mat.
Eagles gets back to his feet and hobbles over to the corner turnbuckle and slowly climbs to the top, he signals for the “Sweet Sacrifice” (Swanton Bomb) and as he leaps Anthony rolls out of the way, but Josh adjusts midair and rolls through the move and rolls very shakily to his feet, but Anthony is too quick and he picks Josh up and drives him down hard with a knee breaker that hits Eagles on the right knee. He falls to the mat holding his knee in pain, but Anthony grabs the leg and falls backwards wrenching on the leg with a nice leg vice.
Pilgrim: Look at John’s face it is clear he didn’t want it to go down like this!
Almanti: It is good to see he is finally doing what needs to be done to get the win!
Back in the ring Eagles has again managed to shake it off and has reached the bottom rope and Anthony breaks the hold and Josh slides out the bottom rope and to the outside of the ring, using it to support himself as he checks on his knee. Inside Lawson begins the count.
1
2
3
4 Anthony grabs Lawson’s hand and shakes his head no and Eagles looks at him and smiles and nods his head with a show of respect and slides back into the ring and uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Pilgrim: Both men want this match to end on a competitive note!
Almanti: Yeah, so now Anthony can have a bigger chance of losing, sometimes honor and pride just confuses me!
Pilgrim: Well that is cause you don’t have either!
Anthony and Eagles now approach the center of the ring and lock up for a test of strength, but Josh doesn’t go for it leaping into the air and placing his legs on Anthony’s stomach and falling backwards and hitting him with a hard monkey flip. Laying on his back on the mat Anthony tries to reverse Eagles when he rolls over and attempts to lock in another arm bar, but can’t do it so instead squirms to the ropes.
Pilgrim: Notice what Josh is doing, Anthony is not an accomplished mat wrestler and with his injured leg he is trying to keep this match on the mat!
Almanti: So what you are saying is someone is finally showing some brains?
Back in the ring Eagles is setting Anthony up to whip him into the corner but Anthony reverses it and instead sends Eagles into the corner, then tries to follow it up with a clothesline but he instead gets a face full of boot. Anthony staggers back and Eagles hits the mat and staggers out as well, clutching his knee. Anthony notices and for one moment hesitates then takes advantage of the situation picking Eagles up and holding him in the air for a moment then dropping back with a small delayed suplex. Anthony gets right back to his feet and brings Eagles with him and hits him with another quick forearm and then attempts to whip Eagles into the ropes but Josh collapses half way across the ring, his knee giving out.
Anthony looks at him for a moment with pity on his face, but approaches him anyway and grabs his right leg, but Josh kicks with his left keeping John off, he tries again to grab the leg, but Josh again kicks so Anthony levels him with a quick stomp on his knee and then grabs his leg and gives it a few quick kicks to behind the knee. But instead of following up, John goes to Josh’s head and drags him to his feet and hooks him up in a front headlock and then switches it to a scoop slam, driving Eagles to the mat and following up with 3 quick and consecutive elbow drops. He then goes for the cover and Lawson hits the mat.
1
2
NOOOOO Josh gets his shoulder up at the last second. 3
Pilgrim: Wow, Josh is showing some guts out there!
Almanti: Well if Anthony would just put him out, he is ready to tap at any minute now!
Anthony has Eagles back on his feet and is hitting him with repeated forearm shivers bringing him back into the corner. Anthony then reaches down and locks Eagles up and takes him over to the mat with a T-Bone suplex, Anthony again goes down for the cover and Lawson counts.
1
2
No, once again Josh just gets his shoulder off the mat. 3
Anthony again drags Josh to his feet, but as he gets half way up, Josh delivers a forearm of his own to the midsection of Anthony, but Anthony keeps the momentum down by kicking Josh in the ring leg, forcing him back down to the mat holding his leg in pain. Yes again Anthony doesn’t go after the leg, but picks Josh back up and whips him to the closest rope, barley standing Eagles bounces back and gets nailed with another scoop slam and is once again covered by Anthony.
1
2 Josh gets his shoulders up a little bit quicker this time and Anthony looks at him with a look of shock and disbelief on his face. But he keeps his temper in check and gets back to his feet and watches as Eagles uses the ropes to get back up once again, Anthony ruses in at him but Eagles drops down and lowers the ropes and Anthony goes out and over the ropes to the ground below. Both Anthony and Eagles are getting back to their feet, but Josh slingshots himself over the top rope to the outside nailing Anthony and taking them both out. Lawson looks out and begins to count.
1
2
3
4 Both men begin to stir
5
6 Anthony is on his feet, Josh is still struggling.
7 Anthony slides back into the ring.
8
9
Anthony slides back out of the ring to break up the count as Josh just makes it to his feet.
Almanti: What is he thinking? He just had the match won!!!
Pilgrim: I think there is a deep amount of respect between these two and neither want the match to finish like this.
Anthony approaches Josh but as he does Eagles delivers and elbow to the gut and attempts to whip Anthony at the steps, but is reversed and Eagles is instead sent flying into the ring steps hitting hard with both knees and flying right over top. Anthony looks on shaking his head, but rushes over to Eagles and throws him into the ring and goes for the cover hoping to end the match. Lawson drops down and counts.
1
2
Yet again Josh gets his shoulder up at the last second. 3.
Anthony gets to his feet and watches as Josh holds his leg in pain and Anthony puts his hand on his forehead struggling with a moral dilemma, slowly he gets Josh to his feet and turns him around and picks him up onto his shoulders, looking to hit the “High Life” (Electric Chair Facebuster) but Eagles reverses quickly switching position and locking in the “Eagles Claw” once again. Anthony falls backwards and the impact knocks the breathe from both men causing Eagles to let go of the move and both men to lie motionless on the ground.
Pilgrim: Josh just won’t give up! What a return!
Almanti: No matter how you paint it, Josh is desperate, he hurts himself more then John with every move he makes!
Lawson has begun the count in the ring waiting for both men to get up.
1
2
3
4 Anthony and Eagles both grab ropes
5
6 Both are half way to their feet
7
8 Both men reach their feet and Lawson stops the count. Eagles and Anthony stagger toward each other and Anthony throws a right at Eagles sending him staggering back, Eagles hits him back with a chop to the chest and Anthony follows with a chop of his own, they go back and forth exchanging chops, until Eagles grabs the ropes and lets go with one hard chop that knocks Anthony to the canvas, he gets back up and another chops sends him straight down, then again, and then one more time before Anthony is a little slow to get up. Eagles grabs him by the head and leaps up nailing a swinging DDT and driving Anthony head first into the canvas.
Josh slowly begins to crawl towards Anthony looking to score the pin fall, he throws his arm over him and Lawson drops down to count.
1
2
Anthony this time just gets his shoulder off the canvas! 3
Almanti: How did he do that?
Pilgrim: Pure instinct, if Eagles had what is took to hook the leg this would have been over.
Eagles is looking at Lawson and his face is etched with exhaustion as he slowly climbs back to his feet bringing Anthony with him. Eagles bends down and goes to lock Anthony up for the “Eagles Wings” (Celtic Cross) but when he tries to lift Anthony his leg gives out and he falls to the canvas. Anthony is quick to take advantage picking him up and whipping him at the closest corner and running after him, but Josh leaps into the air and looks to his a whisper in the wind, but once again his right leg gives out and as he falls backwards Anthony grabs his shoulders and slams him down then goes right into the cover.
1
2
Eagles gets his shoulder up and keeps this match alive. Anthony stands up and now pain and a little frustration with a grudging realization is on his face as he stands up and begins to stock Eagles who is using the ropes to get to his feet.
Pilgrim: Anthony is stalking Eagles!!!
Almanti: He is staying low, I think he finally sees that he has no choice but to attack the leg of Eagles.
As Josh gets to his feet Anthony comes in for a chop block, but in a surprise burst of energy and using the ropes Josh leaps into the air and Anthony comes running by and as he does Josh reaches down and snaps backwards and when they both hit the mat Anthony is locked in a viscous “Eagles Claw” with Josh between him and the ropes. Eagles is yanking with everything he has and Anthony is screaming in pain with nowhere to go.
Almanti: HOLY CRAPOLA DID YOU SEE THAT??
Pilgrim: This is over Anthony isn’t escaping this time!
Lawon continues to ask if Anthony wants to quit but he keeps shaking his head no as Eagles wrenches back on the hold harder and harder. Anthony’s hand begins to waiver over the top of the mat about to tap out when out of nowhere Holmes slides into the ring Marshall and Bailey right behind them and they all go right after Eagles and begin stomping on him. Eagles releases Anthony and tries to cover up as Lawson waves for the bell to end the match.
Winner: Josh Eagles
The match over and both Eagles and Anthony down Holmes, Marshall, and Bailey continue their beat down. Holmes instructs Marshall to lift Eagles to his feet and Bailey to go get a chair. Marshall gets Eagles to his feet and Holmes explodes nailing Eagles with the “See It Coming” (Spear) and gets back to his feet limping still on his own leg that Eagles injured last week. Bailey has now returned to the ring with a chair and hands it to Holmes as Marshall and Bailey hold Eagles still Holmes lifts the chair high above Eagles legs, then drops it and scatters as Marshall for the second straight week is taken out with a chair shot this time by John Anthony. Holmes and Bailey quickly scatter and stare up at the ring as Anthony stands over Eagles holding the chair and Laswon begins to check on Eagles.
Pilgrim: Now that is real class!
Almanti: Even I can’t deny that!
Anthony helps Eagles to his feet as he stares down Holmes, Bailey, and now Marshall holding his head on the way up the ramp. Eagles now has a mic in his hand.
Eagles: It is going to take a lot more then that to keep me out Holmes!! I got some news for you, just before I came out here I spoke to Rich Morrison and...he made it official, Josh Eagles is now the NEW #1 Contender for the POW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
The crowd goes crazy as Anthony raises Eagles hand into the air and they give each other a quick hug and Holmes stands on the ramp with his mouth open shaking his head no.

POST SHOW:
Almanti: This has been one hell of a match!
Pilgrim: You're telling me!
Josh Eagles returns to his feet, trying to catch his breath. Suddenly, Kyle Neverwinter sprints from the backstage curtain and towards the ring. Josh spots him sliding in and the two begin to exchange punches. Josh begins to get the better of him and whips him into the ropes. Kyle goes for a clothesline but Josh ducks and grabs Kyle and he turns around.
Almanti: He's going for the Eagles Wings!
Kyle fights out of it and scrambles to the outside as the crowd begin to chant, calling him a pussy. Josh demands he get back in the ring.
Pilgrim: Oh no... Josh... turn around...
Whilst Josh is busy pointing and talking smack to Kyle, he doesn't notice Kailus Holmes, who had snuck in from the crowd, standing right behind him. Josh eventually blows Kyle away, believing he wouldn't try anything and turns around.
Almanti: OH NO!!!
Kailus catches Josh unaware and hoists him up on his shoulders, dropping the man who attacked him last week with a ferocious FRO. Josh rolls away clutching his face as Kailus raises himself back to his feet. Soon after, Isaac Marshall comes from the crowd where Bailey is also standing, keeping her distance. She screams at Isaac to go and help. The two begin issuing a serious beat down on Josh, stomping away at him.
Pilgrim: This is total chaos!
Kyle finally slides into the ring where Isaac gets in his way. The crowd, excited, hope to see a confrontation between these two but don't get the chance as Night storms down from the curtain, eager to get some revenge on Kyle.
Almanti: And now Night is coming down!
Pilgrim: It's three on one though!
Almanti: He doesn't care!
Night slides into the ring but is clocked by both Kyle and Isaac. The crowd boo as the two men stomp on Night, forcing him to roll outside of the ring. As they finish with Night, Kailus picks Josh up and calls Kyle over.
Almanti: What's going on here?
Pilgrim: It looks like Kyle and Kailus are working together!
Kyle whips Josh into the ropes, catching him on the rebound, hoisting him high into the air like a flapjack. Kailus leaps up, grabbing Josh's face in mid-air. As the two fall, Kailus pulls his knees up and crashes back first into the canvas, driving his knees into Josh's face.
Pilgrim: WHAT WAS THAT?!
Almanti: It looked like some sort of modified 3D variation.
Josh is out. Kailus and Kyle return to their feet. Isaac grabs both of their hands and raises them high into the air. The crowd livid.
Pilgrim: No Remorse are back together!
Almanti: This can't be happening!
Kailus scoops up the World title belt and holds it proudly into the air. He points to the crowd and starts shouting.
Kailus Holmes: He is nothing! Night is nothing! I am the greatest in the World! Nobody can beat me! Nobody!
Pilgrim: This is sickening!
Almanti: After so long apart, one of the most dominant factions in wrestling history, that has spanned four companies, is back, and is here in Power On Wrestling.
Pilgrim: I tell you what... this is bigger than the Four Horsemen! This is bigger than the Royal Flush! This is No Remorse!
