Black has been invited to appear on a small community wrestling talk show. When the host who goes by the name of Big Crown Brown announces Black to come out the fans in the audience all began to boo. Black walks out onto stage smirking at the fans reaction. He sits down in one of the chairs sat out and the segment begins.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another addition of Big Crown Brown's Wrestling 411. For those of you who may not know, the man sitting to my right is non-other than POW's own Black, The Master of Mean. Thanks for being here today Black. [extends his hand for a handshake.]
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] ...
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Wow you certainly are a mean one aren't you.
The audience laughs
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] Listen here punk I came on this show to talk about wrestling. However if you keep it up with the jokes, there's going to be less talking and more action, you get what I'm saying?
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Absolutely, jokes aside. Black let me ask you something. Why exactly do you call yourself Black and the Master of Mean? I mean I know you have this thing about wrestlers names not being important and all. Bottom line people are wondering and people are going to talk. Thing is most wrestler names are obvious I mean names like Dan Real because he's Real, Reck Maverick because he's a Maverick or even a name like Victor Bloodmoon. However I suppose many people wonder about your tag because it's simply Black.
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] Well it's just like you said. Those guys names are obvious. Many people only see "Black" as a color. Just shows how much they pay attention to the meaning of Black. You look in the dictionary you will find all of these degrading meanings when it comes to Black. You look at me you see how I treat people in that ring. You will see that I am violent and vicious. You will see that I am hostile and theatening and so many other things. I don't need people to tell me I am these things because I know I am these things. I am not a nice guy in that ring and I don't plan to be. You're in their to win, and giving you opponent an easy outting, a slap on the shoulder or a hand shake isn't winning it's being stupid. Now I treat everyone the same except a select few people who deserve my respect. Other than that, anyone else is just useless to me. That's how I think of them and that's how I even think of you. So soon after the viewers started seeing how I treat my opponents and those around me they began saying I'm a bully. That I'm just a plain brutal and mean bastard. It stuck, Master of Mean. That's who I am I have no remorse.I HAVE no mercy for anyone I don't like.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Yeah but there's also so good qualities about black. So arne you kind of contradicting yourself.
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] Absolutely not. Think about. I'm good in that ring. My focus is good my training is good. I make my career shine like a nice good looking black onyx and when I take that title from Lance Erickson that title is going to shine around my waist just as well.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Now your opponent for your upcoming match is quite the opposite. The people love him, they adore him. They want to see him defeat you in the worse way possible. Of course I am talking about Lance Erickson. Tell us about Mr. Erickson.
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] Lance Erickson is completely feeble minded. He said it himself. Without that title he wouldn't be able to face anyone. Lance needs those fans, without those fans he wouldnt be a damn thing. That's the problem with people like Lance they are always needing someone to support them to cheer for them. Then when they gain and lose a title they act like it's the end of the world. They may lose a couple of fans and it's like shutting off the life support because that's what the fans are to Lance. Lance doesn't deserve to be champion. You don't need a champion who openly admitts that he won't even be able to take a defeat. The way I see it, Lance is simply a walking belt rack right now. That's right he's is holding on to that belt for me. He's carrying it around for me. That's the bottom line.
I'm not saying Lance hasn't held any titles in his career perhaps outside of POW. He probably has and lost them. I mean because he is a loser so of course he lost them. Then he probably cried about it "oooh I lost the title, I can't hold my head up, I can't be a man and look people in the eye because I am a loser." Well if Lance would just come to terms and realise that he was put on this earth to be nothing but a loser well then maybe losing wouldn't be so hard for him.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Well come on, everyone feels bummed about losing sometimes. You act as if you are holier than thou. I mean Lance mad a really good point. He defeate David Deangelo and you drawed with him.
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] [stands up] SAY WHAT! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME!
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Hey hey easy pal, I just speak the truth.
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] Is it my fault that the punk wrestlers these days can't go the same length of time like the great real wrestlers of old? Lance never defeated me which means no one has defeated me. Lance beat Deangelo, Deangelo never defeated me. So that whole argument doesn't stand. Simply put it's not me who couldn't beat Deangelom It's Deangelo who couldn't defeat me. I was just having fun kicking his ass throughout the match and didn't realise how much time was left. That's the real truth. Anytime I have ever lost a match I didn't cry. I may have distasteful words for the wrestler, the referee and everyone else. Not once have I not been able to hold my head high and move on. I always go back and look at how I performed and how my opponent performed and how I can improve.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Yeah but once again see, you aren't just going up against any opponent. You're up against a champion. Which means this match is going to be more challenging. I mean Lance has had many matches boom, over and done with. Not only did time run out in your first match, it almost ran out in your second.
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] Listen here. Once the bell sounds Lance is no longer the champion. Once the bell sounds Lance has no title. He's competing for it just like I am. In other words I don't see Lance as the TV Champion. I see him as Lance Erickson, another wrestler who made the foolish mistake of stepping in my path to glory. Lance doesn't see that because like I said he has let the title go to his head already. He just thinks im a contender for the title when he doesn't understand he is as well.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] Well it was certainly nice having you here Black. Before you go we have a little something for you. Actually it's more of maybe a suggestion for a new name we here thing would fit you well. Hey guys show him the poster.
Two stage hands roll out a big covered frame. when they drop the cover it has a picture of Black in the ring with his hands raised holding the T.V. Title but with an angry and confused expression. Also on the picture it has Lance Erickson in the corner laughing pointing at Black. Down at ring side on the announcers table sits a clock whith the time at 00:00 and the announcer saying "The winner as a result of a draw and still champion, Lance Erickson!". The title of the poster instead of "Master of Mean" it says "Master of Bad Timing". The audience starts to laugh hysterically. Black stands up.
[glow=red,2,300]Black:[/glow] Oh so you think that's funny. You think my matches are one big joke?
Black walks up to Big Crown and slaps the crown off of his head and pushes him out of his chair. The audience starts to look on in surprise.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Big Crown:[/glow] What the hell do you think you're doing. Security get this animal off my show!
Black walks over to the crown and stomps on it. He then looks at the poster and picks up the chair he was sitting in and tosses it through the poster while the audience gasp on in complete surprise. He then rips off his microphone and walks off the stage.
