The scene opens up to the arena. It’s empty as the camera pans around. The seat and floors are clean. Very few lights are on and no one can see around that well. The lights suddenly turn on. Still no one is around in the arena. The camera turns around as their some one walking down the steps of the fan area. Walks to one of the seat and sits down. The camera zooms in as its none other the Mr. Showtime him self. He looks around in wait. He eats a snickers bar and sits back looking at the ring below. He looks to each side. Foot steps can be heard walking down. Mr. Showtime is still sitting on the seat. The camera pans out as another man is coming to join him. He walks up to Mr. Showtime and shakes his head. The camera pans in one more time. It’s none other the POW interviewer Greg Kilgreen. They smile as he takes a seat next to Mr. Showtime.
Mr. Showtime: Thank you for taking the time to come out and see my Greg Kilgreen. Or may I call you just Greg?
Greg Kilgreen: It’s alright. Please call me Greg if you like and I should be thanking you for taking time out of your day to come to see me.
Mr. Showtime: Nope. It’s mine all the way. I was the one who requested this interview.
Greg Kilgreen: Of course. I got everything ready to go.
Mr. Showtime: Let’s start then.
Greg Kilgreen gets out a word pad and a pen and goes through a list of question he had made earlier when he found out about the interview with Mr. Showtime. He smiles and sits back and looks to him.
Greg Kilgreen: Okay. First question is how are you liking your new surrounding here with in POW.
Mr. Showtime: I am liking quiet well, the new place and new people in the back. New faces are nice to see now and then. Of course this company is still brand new in it self. Time will only see if people will stay and people who go. I have been in a few feds for awhile to know when some one is staying and when some one is leaving, all though I do get surprised sometimes by a few people who become bigger then life. Many people believe that about my self, that I am only in short term, that I won’t make it like others. Well I have proven my self over and over again. I will prove my self to a whole new crowd and a whole new locker room.
Greg Kilgreen: Well it isn’t completely new to you. You still got some faces that you recognize.
Mr. Showtime: Yes I do. I know a couple people backstage from UWC and even extending back into UWW. Like Shadow, Nick Pickles, Jay T. Nitro and of course Fire. I know I have been foe to many of them over their years. All except the one I married. That’s for a different reason though. You know I am comfortable with who are here, people that I know and will know. Still the same setting but with a new name and new look. You get use to it over time moving around a lot, of course I was one to never stand still. I am still for steam forward all the time. Way it has to be in the business. No regrets. That’s the way it needs to be now days.
Greg Kilgreen: Now you first match is a number one contender for the POW television title. You are no stranger to television titles. You are a two time UWW television title holder. What are your thoughts on that now?
Mr. Showtime: Seems like I am drawn to them even if I think about or not. Of Course I keep my eyes on the prize and look up high for a world title one day but I know I have to do this step by step. This first match is more then a number one contenders match for the television title. The person who can win this shot will be look at in the future for contender ship for bigger and better titles because you not going in their one on one. Your going in their with nine other people. Means you got to be nine times better then what you normally are but it doesn’t mean you have to work nine times harder. You just got to think smart. Maybe can sit back and watch the other fight it out. Of course you got others after you as well. So don’t think you can sit back and coast, its part planning and part of living in the moment. Most people either plan the whole match out then when something doesn’t go their way there at a loss. Then people who live in the moment can’t see the whole match is doomed to mess up and get eliminated quickly.
Greg Kilgreen: You seem to talk like you know what you are doing.
Mr. Showtime: That’s because I do know what I am doing in that ring. You can’t sit back and watch them all and not learn a thing or two. You need mental planning and talent. With out those two things in your back pocket you can’t do much if anything but dream of wrestling or end up interviewing or announcing for them but in this business to do that will always be some one waiting. Now being in that ring it’s different, its not degree’s or landing an interview for the spot. You got to earn you way though it. You got to know what you are doing and apply it too. In everyone’s different ways here in POW everyone has a deep knowledge about that.
Greg Kilgreen: So you are saying wrestling is all mental?
Mr. Showtime: I wouldn’t say all mental. There are people who apply the mental stage better then others. You still the physical attribute and stamina as well. Together with the mental attribute can be a main stay in this business. Just coming here with a manager and being scary looking isn’t enough. Black doesn’t seem to understand to well, though he may have talent yet to seen. Shadow has been around a while. Both I and he started out about the same time in this business. If you ask him he will agree, though I am battling him too in this match. He knows what I can do but I know what he can do as well. Back and forth deal so it comes down who can get into each others head, that how we battle now days. Like a game go chess.
Greg Kilgreen: Now are you ready for this match after your win over JTN?
Mr. Showtime: Yes and no. I am as ready as I can but coming off that match I will not be a hundred percent physically but what I like their, I will make up mentally. I will be there at one hundred and fifty percent. Maybe that might be enough to make it but then it again it might not be enough. Though I think I come in with experience and knowledge of how to do this correctly. I might come out on top. That’s what I hope for in the long run. In this case I will be number one contender and will be moving on to take that title around my waist. Where it belong until the Word title graces my waist later on but once again it’s a step by step.
Greg Kilgreen: Now having Fire in this match makes you a bit nervous?
Mr. Showtime: Not at all. I and she been through fights that make this look like a welcomed vacation. I know she knows all moves and mental games but on the other hand I know hers. So makes us pretty even on that. I will keep a watch out for that. I will take advantage of a situation arising if need be for me to win on this day. Don’t worries I don’t mean take advantage of her by making love in middle of the ring. I know bunch of you men out their and in the locker room would do that. You’re all sick and perverted. Take a cold shower. I honestly hope it comes down to me and her. Just to see who is best in the marriage that we have. Been always wanting to get that out their. So it doesn’t bother me one bit.
Mr. Showtime smiles and stands up. He reaches over and messes Greg Kilgreen’s hair. He walks pass him and up the stairs to the doors. Greg Kilgreen watches him leave and stands up getting ready to leave him self. Sigh’s and turns around and head out the same door that he came from earlier. The arena empties out once more like it was before. Silence over takes the place as the lights go out. The scene fades back out.
Mr. Showtime: Thank you for taking the time to come out and see my Greg Kilgreen. Or may I call you just Greg?
Greg Kilgreen: It’s alright. Please call me Greg if you like and I should be thanking you for taking time out of your day to come to see me.
