In the story of M & M vs. D & D... The legend came true and the Heroes of the story emerged victorious... During that match the POW faithful witnessed the not only the birth of the new POW Tag Team Championship team, but they got a glimpse of the future... namely seeing Macros making George Duke pass out to the Claw...
A Week has passed since then, and now the tandem of Macros & Maverick are facing off against one half of Four Horsemen: XE... The Hunter Brothers Inc. We find Reck Maverick down in the bowels of the building, swinging his Blade of Legend and practicing his Kata. He soon stops and slowly re-sheathes the blade. He tilts his head toward the - up until now - hidden camera.
Reck Maverick - You may enter the hollow halls of the Maverick citizen Gregory...
Greg Kilgreen enters the scene.
Greg Kilgreen - Thank you Reck Maverick. First I would like to congratulate both you and Macros for an impressive Tag Team debut last week.... Speaking of which, where IS Macros?
Reck quickly looks around the area.
Reck Maverick - Hm... Weird. Macros was here a moment ago, he probably went to train or something but yeah, Me and the Mac-man were pretty bodacious last week weren't we. In all fairness though, we were paired against two dudes that knew diddly squat about Tag Team Wrestling. Not like this week.
Greg Kilgreen - You are of course referring to the upcoming Tag match pitting M & M against the Hunters?
Reck Maverick - Correct Gregory. In the Tag Team ranks, brothers that work together can dominate the scene. Trust me on that one, my half-brother Flap Flanagan and myself crushed many a team back in the old MPW. However this ain't the UK, this isn't MPW and my Tag Team is sure as hell ain't the Flan-man, No way Jose! My tag partner is the undefeated Legion Soldier - Macros Vitruvious. Just me saying that name dropped The Hunters' chances of victory from - and this will sound cliche, but in this case cliche works - from slim to... none!
That is not a shot against the Hunters' ability or credibility... I'm just stating my opinion and in POW 96.3% of the time my opinion turns out to be FACT! But I must give props to Shane though, he made quick work of Sykova last week, regardless of the fact that Sykova was mere big and bland... not much talent, and very little charisma and props to Dave for... um... Kicking... no that was Big Ci, um, defeating... no, that was Lance... WHAT THE HELL HAS DAVE HUNTER DONE! He probably done something but obviously is wasn't anything of importance or else the WALKING WRESTLING ENCYCLOPEDIA - Reck Maverick would have recalled it.
Actually there is a reason why I'm so confident in this contest this week, see 50% of this match is a rerun!
Greg Kilgreen - Excuse me? A re-run? What'cha talkin' 'bout Maverick?
Reck Maverick - I mean... Wait, was that a GARY COLEMAN impression?
Greg Kilgreen - ... yes.
Reck Maverick - RADICAL! But as I was saying... Dave Hunter and my partner Macros have previously met in Tag Team action... It was Dave Hunter and Dan Real - who I beat! against Da Man - Macros and Dave's future stablemate: Lance Erickson. Sure the match ended with Macros pinning Dan Real but HUNTER still LOST! While it's apparent that Davey has gotten a new partner... So has Macros - no disrespect to Lance Erickson but now Macros has the HERO of the STORY, the STAR of the SHOW on his side... We proved our worth by beating the Valor Champion... Controversial end? yes... but a win none the less. Since they came to POW, who has the Hunter Bros beaten? Answer... NO ONE!
Actually it's humourous but when M & M beat The Hunters this week Macros will have beaten all the member of Four Horsemen: XE! So much for being a dominate group and in this one match, yours truly will have beaten HALF of the Stable! Wow... looks like the "Ci-Master" made a colossal error in judgment when he recruited the talent that he did... as I'm sure Riley will testament to later on when you dudes find him.
Greg Kilgreen - No doubt... anyway, before we wrap up do you have any last comments?
Reck Maverick - Of course I do... Kids, don't do drugs! Drugs are bad m'kay... oh and HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY!
