We are in the bowels of the building as we find Reck Maverick - fresh off his FIRST LOSS in POW. He is sitting at a table, with his feet up on the table watching something on his laptop computer. Greg Kilgreen walks in the scene.
Greg Kilgreen - Excuse me Reck Maverick...
Reck holds up a finger to silence Kilgreen. He then sits up and pauses the video. He slowly gets out of the chair and first looks at the camera - then he rolls his eyes into the back of his head (ala the Undertaker) and looks at Greg and speaks in a demonic tone.
Reck Maverick - IF... YOU... EVER... INTERUPT... ZYURANGER... AGAIN... YOU... WILL... BE...
Reck snaps back to his normal self.
Reck Maverick - Kicked SQUARE in the nuts! O.K. now what can I do ya for?
Greg nervously adjusts his collar.
Greg Kilgreen - First I need to ask, how do feel about no longer being in contention for the Valor Championship?
Reck Maverick - Meh, it's no biggie Greg. In this same situation a year ago, there probably wouldn't be any furniture left in this room...
Greg looks around the room.
Greg Kilgreen - Um... there isn't any furniture in this room...
Reck Maverick - Beside the point Greg... The point is I would be in a very pissy mood. But I have moved beyond that, I know I will get another shot at the Valor Championship at some point, or even the Heavyweight Championship hell, even that mysterious new title Mr. Capaci has created.... but at this point and time , I don't need a championship belt to tell me that I am the best in North America. I have around 1,800 Reckrophiliacs telling me I'm the best every single week.
Like I said last week, I'm already the true champion of Valor and frankly a belt doesn't make you a champion... it's your heart, soul and courage that makes you a champion. I know this as does my partner - the man that kicked my ass last week: Macros Vitruvious. Mac did the one thing NO ONE else in POW could do... he pinned me in the middle of my ring and for that he truly earned my respect... it will be an honour to win the POW tag team belts with him.
Greg Kilgreen - While we are on the topic of Tag Team wrestling... This week you and Macros will be facing George Duke and Jason Dread in Tag Team action.
Maverick gives off a small laugh.
Reck Maverick - So it begins... I have mad respect for George Duke, it takes something special to defeat Victor Bloodmoon and become the first Valor Champion, and I have respect for Jason Dread, he has been very impressive in short time in POW...
But it really seems like a bit of a mis-match. Not too sound arrogant or conceded, but I truly don't believe neither of them could beat either of us... but them against Reck Maverick and Macros Vitruvious together - it's like a lamb being lead to slaughter. It's not really fair is it? But don't take it out of context Greg, that was NOT a shot against their credibility or there ability. I'm just saying they are good but us - well we are just that much better.
Greg Kilgreen - What makes you think that?
Reck Maverick - Well Greg, all four of us are AWESOME singles competitors in our own rights... But in tag team action - Reck Maverick has no equal... I have always had a special place for Tag Team Wrestling and I bet if you compared the title histories of everyone in POW, you would easily find that I have had the GREATEST sucess in the Tag Division... Whether it's my 4 time run as Tag Team Champion in MPW, 2 time in UWL and 1 time in CCWA. I am the best in the Tag Division period... why?
Well it's I have the self-control and put my ego aside for the good of the team. Not a lot of guys have that ability - that's why so many Tag Team break up... Everyone wants to be a singles champion. I'm telling you it's a LOT harder and a lot more rewarding to be a Tag Champion.
I feel that my partner Macros has that same quality... or at least Riley does, why else would he contact me to be Macros Tag partner? Plus if you sit down and watch my matches and Mac's matches you can see that we compliment each other perfectly... I'm the Yin to his Yang and vice versa. He's the ultra serious bad ass that simply dominates and I am the colorful, flashy character that brings in the ratings. Our tandem which I have cleverly labeled "Style and Substance," together will make all three of our stocks... Macros, Riley and my own rise through the roof! By All In, when someone says POW they will immediately think Macros and Maverick.
Greg Kilgreen - You don't think George Duke and Jason Dread have this quality?
Reck Maverick - I seriously don't... You see those two guys are more focused on there own careers then working together... They don't have the 'Gung Ho' ability that Macros and I have. This is still going to be a show stealer, all my matches are... but this one will rank slighty lower then rest because while in singles combat all four of us are pretty equal... the tag team advantage is CLEARLY on our side.
Greg Kilgreen - O.K. before we wrap up I have one more question for you Reck Maverick.

Greg Kilgreen - Well WrestlingObserver.com posted a rumour that you were in talks with another promotion. What's your comments on that?
Reck looks down at the floor and takes a deep breath. He then looks back at the camera.
Reck Maverick - The rumours... were true. I was contacted by Alpha Omega Wrestling. They were looking for a blockbuster star to help elavate them...
Greg Kilgreen - and what was your answer?
