From The Desk of
Richard John Morrison III
Now, I just received word that Kalius Holmes has responded to the verbal attacks that my partner and I have laid out on him. Well, needless to say...I'm surprisingly unimpressed. You see- Kalius Holmes used to be seen as the "Go To" guy in More Power Wrestling. In MPW, he was James Hewitt's right hand man. Much like I was for Rob Matthews, Holmes was James' "Chosen One". It's just sad at how the mighty can fall. How could have he lost so much in such a short amount of time? Needless to say, I think he's a liar. I think he concocted this elaborate story to get sympathy from the blind followers that inhabit the Kansas City arena that I perform at each week.
Now I know that such a claim without facts seems like nothing more than a media fluff piece. However, this is my blog and I can say whatever I want. This isn't POW Television. This is the internet. I am not bound by any FCC Regulation, I am not pressured into hyping certain stipulations or future appearances. This is my forum, better yet, this is my platform to reach an extremely important part of our fan base. The internet has been the sole factor in the overall growth of the POW Organization. These are the only fans I respect, and the only fans I will ever cater too. But, enough of that...moving on.
"Excellence Personified", the apparent tandem name of the Morrison/Shadix team are looking at this match from a very interesting perspective. You see, as much as I rag on Holmes, he does have a pretty impressive resume. If Shadix pins Holmes, he earns his place in a short list of people to defeat Kalius cleanly. He is automatically skyrocketed into the upper echelon of the company. If I pin Holmes, I get my revenge on the sneaky attack I received. Either way, it's a win/win situation.
Now, I will go out of my way to insinuate that Brian Lee will not even show up for the match. Not to expose the business anymore than I already do, but he is notorious for being late or just blowing off shows. How this man still has a job is beyond me. I'm sure he's got a "Pat Patterson" kind of deal. IF you know what I mean. Haha.
Well, if Pat Patterson does decide to show up and team with Kez. It's alright too. I'm sure he'll be easy fodder for the most talented tag team in the history of professional wrestling. Never before has two singles wrestlers been thrown together before that can equal the amount of talent and charisma that Shadix and I have.
I laugh when Kalius Holmes claims he hates when people call themselves legends, and then puts himself over as "Better than a legend". You see, it's people like that that really get on my nerves. Never claim to be something that you can't back up. I can't walk into an emergency, yell out "I'm a surgeon with 12 years experience!" and then operate on an 87 year old mans colon. The man would die. Holmes shouldn't be so quick to yell about how he's better than a legend...when his in ring game...well...has fallen short of what an ICON should possess.
If your looking for an ICON, or a LEGEND. You look no further. You look to "The ICON" Rich Morrison and "The Future Legend" Kaleb Shadix. I guarantee you that in less than six months, Shadix will be main eventing shows left and right. Why? Because he has "IT". He has that "X FACTOR" that most wrestlers only dream about. He has what makes me THE MAIN EVENT here in Power On Wrestling. When you're looking for a guaranteed headliner, you look for me.
So, Kalius... Brian Lee...Pat Patterson...whoever you wanna bring on Thursday. I can't wait to get in the ring with you. I can't wait for Kaleb Shadix and I to run all over you...I can't wait to make you two (or three, or four?!) submit, get pinned, etc., etc.
The time has come, guys. It's once again time for me to leave. However, I'm sure that the nightmares you have aren't from the gypsies you hired to try and talk to your dead wife. Your nightmares are gonna be the foreshadowing of the beating that "Excellence Personified" will give you this week. Prepare for a loss, kids.
Always,
Mr. Richard John Morrison III
