The scene opens up to Greg Kilgreen coming out of the office building where he was just talking to Lestat at the moment. Greg walks to the van with the video crew he did the interview with. The camera man opens the back up and set the camera down. Three people in a trench coats run up behind the man. They grab him and the camera while Greg is getting into the driver seat. One of the trench coat men takes the camera guy and his camera away from the van keeping out of sight. They run into the building which they came from. The other two get into the van and close the back doors. The van starts up and sits their idling. Finally it begins to move off down the street. The camera scene changes into the van. The two trench coat figures take off the skull caps they where wearing. It’s none other then Mr. Showtime and Fire. Fire is apparently not happy with all this sneaking around they are doing. Mr. Showtime smiles and reassures her that no one will get hurt. She shakes her head and sits back. Mr. Showtime looks to the front where Greg Kilgreen is.
Greg: Hey what did you think of that segment with Lestat is going to be worth? He’s not the best to interview but certainly not the worse. Though I like him a little more then Mr. Showtime because I got a feeling Mr. Showtime is always ready to attack me.
Mr. Showtime: Really now?
Greg: (Looks back for a second.) What the?!
Mr. Showtime: (Moves to the front seat.) You shouldn’t be talking about me behind my back.
Greg: (Quickly puts his eyes back on the road.) Where the hell did you come from? Where the camera guy? Why are you here and not back at home where you just put off an interview with your wife Fire?
Mr. Showtime: I had the segment put on a delay before he aired. So actually it was a couple hours ago. Sneaky aren’t I?
Fire: Oh shut up. If it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t have known where his and Lestat’s location was in the first place. I did this for Shade so he can get face to face with Lestat and talk to him a bit.
Mr. Showtime: I know. Model citizen you are.
Fire: I am not perfect but I know Shade been wanting to talk to Lestat one on one for a bit and Lestat has been wanting to talk to Shade for a bit too, Its better then getting you two to talk to each other of lately.
Mr. Showtime: Yes. I know both you and Shade been playing peace maker.
Greg: Wait a minute here! What does this have to do with me now?
Mr. Showtime: Because you have been interviewing the both of us lately. So I figure you should interview me next after him. Isn’t that only fair you get both sides of the story
Fire rolls her eyes.
Greg: (Unsure.) I guess so.
Mr. Showtime: Good. Now what did he say about me? Please give me the dirt on his last interview. We were to busy waiting for you and your camera guy to come out to catch his last interview.
Greg: There should be a copy of the interview on tape in the back. We record all the interviews here so we can archive all of them. Fire turn on that monitor on and press play below it. You should be able to see it then for you self. That’s the full unedited one. Haven’t had the chances to touch it yet.
Mr. Showtime: Thank you.
Mr. Showtime slips into the back with Fire. Fire reaches over to the control panel and turns on the monitor. She presses play below it as well. The interview begins to play on the small monitor in back. Mr. Showtime and Fire watch it for its full length that it is. The interview stops and Mr. Showtime reaches over and presses the stop button. He gets up and makes his way back to the front passenger side seat. Fire reaches over and turns off the monitor and walks to the seat where Mr. Showtime is. She stays there watching them talk. Mr. Showtime points to a Wendy’s fast food restaurant. Greg nods and pulls up to the drive through. Mr. Showtime gets spicy grilled chicken hamburger while Fire gets a plain grilled chicken hamburger as well they both get Thick ’N’ Frosty. Greg only gets a drink. Mr. Showtime pays for the food since he was the one hungry.
Mr. Showtime: Thank you for stopping. I was getting a little hungry.
Greg: I guess it’s no problem. Just please don’t make a habit of sneaking on me.
Fire: This should be the only time.
Greg: I hope so.
Mr. Showtime: Look I am not here to hurt. All I want is an interview time. So if you don’t mind.
Greg: Hmm alright. I don’t have a lay out of questions ready but I can do what I can from head. I keep up with everything so it shouldn’t be that hard to do I hope. Let’s see here I just interviewed him. So what can I say? He says he had great respect for Lance but only wanted to use him as a stepping stone to only further his career. Your thoughts on this?
Mr. Showtime: Well Lance Erickson is a great wrestler and he has some of the best wrestling skills around with out a doubt a true gem in this industry but Lestat only beat him by my interference. He did not get a pin fall or a submission victory. His claim that he beat Lance is wrong and should not be.
Greg: But you also hit your very own finisher on Lance.
Mr. Showtime: Once again He got on my nerves. I will not stand around and be shoved by some one. I believe if he were in my shows. He would have come to the same decision as I did. I don’t expect Lance and me to be friends. Time will only see if we cross paths once more.
Greg: Lestat also is claiming you can not work with Nick Pickles in this up coming tag match. Can you and Nick Pickles coexist together for one time only to get a victory here?
Mr. Showtime: Yes. I can put aside my feelings for beating him to hell for one match. Heck it might change my out look on him. Some say this is a dream team that would never happen, especially where I and Pickles are alike in a lot of ways. So I say I offer him an extended hand of peace for this match. I hope I am met with the same offer too.
Greg: Let’s hope so. Pickles is after King Cobra and you’re after Lestat. Your feelings about this?
Mr. Showtime: Well like Lestat pointed out earlier in his interview like I did too. We both should be in this feud with Pickles and King Cobra over the Television Title but it seems were just locked in a feud that management can’t get over. Lestat only has a win over Lance. Not even a real win. I have beaten every one of these people including the current champion.
Greg: Are you pissed off about this?
Mr. Showtime: Who wouldn’t be? Management can’t see the real talent here. They are blind to the fact that I would be the greatest Television Champion in POW history, Then to unify it with the UWC Television title by beating Jay T Nitro one more time. Truly will be a great moment for POW but this isn’t about POW. It’s about me proving my victory of JTN was not a fluke.
Greg: Lestat did respect you that you got a victory over King Cobra but many say you wouldn’t have done it with out Pickles having showed up with Bubba when he did. Your response?
Mr. Showtime: Blah blah blah. I was on my way to winning the match anyways. Cobra talked all his shit that he did saying he was the better and faster man but I hit him hard with the Season Ender. Now he did have great skill and hold me off until then.
Greg: So you’re saying Pickles did nothing to help you?
Mr. Showtime: Yes he did but the out come of the match would have been the same anyways. He just made the end come faster for King Cobra.
Greg: You think King Cobra will be after you in this match?
Mr. Showtime: It’s hard to say. If he loses focus on Pickles he will lose his shot for the television title but then again if he thinks he was wronged and does come after me. He will end up like he did last time. Flat on his back while the referee counts to three. Then he will realize it was only matter of time that I was going to beat him anyways.
Greg: You think Lestat play big role on trying to screw you in this match?
Mr. Showtime: Maybe. I believe he is going to do what needs to be done for his team. I hope he has the heart not to cheat to do it. Remember it’s a tag team match. So he doesn’t have to worry about me as well. I know Pickles will give it to him as well as King Cobra.
Greg: Do you have a game plan?
Mr. Showtime: Of course. I have talked about mental game and physical game in the ring. Now this isn’t a singles match. You have to plan three moves ahead but also plan on a tag. So you got to think three moves ahead with both people. Heck they might throw in a double team move. You got to stay sharp and quick to make it.
Fire: But once you get in the ring it’s a different story your whole world and game plan can be thrown out of the picture.
Mr. Showtime: But of course. Allow the plan to be changed on a moments notice.
Greg: I see that. Will a friendship happen once more with Lestat?
Mr. Showtime: I could see it happen in the future, which makes Fire happy about what I just said. Look there is frustration and anger in the picture but it can be worked out. He mind if you can go a head drop us off at home? Since you are driving this van now.
Greg: (Sighs)Fine.
Greg looks where he is going and makes the lane change and turns down a street to head back to their home.
Greg: Next time get in some one else’s van. I can’t drive you around everywhere. I don’t get paid enough to drive wrestlers home.
Mr. Showtime: Snob…
Fire: Don’t call him that. Thank you Greg for taking us home, he didn’t think that far a head about getting home.
Mr. Showtime: Well interview with Greg was a last minute change. Shade was spouse to take us home after he got done talking with Lestat.
Fire: You don’t plan any more outing for us okay?
Mr. Showtime: Fine. This is the last time I do something on the fly.
Fire: Good.
Mr. Showtime sticks his tongue out. Fire sees it and shakes her head and slaps Mr. Showtime in back of the head. Mr. Showtime turns around as Greg laughs.
Mr. Showtime: Stop that! You’re going to mess up my hair.
Fire: Make me and your more women then me when it comes to hair. I swear you have a bigger love affair with you hair then you do with me.
Mr. Showtime: Oh be quiet.
Fire: It’s true and you know it. So don’t deny the truth.
Mr. Showtime stays quiet pouting in the chair.
Fire: Did I hurt your feelings? I am sorry.
Greg: Okay kids. Claim down. You two are almost home anyways. If you two are going to fight do it at home. I do not need to see this. Oh and Mr. Showtime if you have one last thing to say. Go head.
Mr. Showtime: Alright. Lestat and King Cobra I have beaten you both. Lestat I have beaten you more so then Cobra commander over their. So you know I back up my mouth when I run it. Cobra last week you found out that I do strike faster then you with my Season Ender. So prepare for it in our match. Lestat you do the same too or you’re going to end up with lock jaw with all the Season Enders I have given you. I will see you two in the ring.
The car stops in front of Mr. Showtime and Fire gate that leads to the house.
Greg: Nice talking to you with out being threatened physically and hope to see you both soon.
Fire: Have a nice one.
Mr. Showtime: Once again thanks man for doing this.
Mr. Showtime opens the door to the passenger side. He steps out of the van but reaches in to help Fire out. She steps through the seat and over the passenger side seat. Greg gets a full view of his ass and smirks evilly with thought. She turns around and sees him staring at her rear end. She slaps him across the cheek.
Fire: Don’t ever stare at me like that again!
Fire huffs and gets out of the van. She closes the door as Mr. Showtime and Fire head up the drive way to go home. Greg sits back and smiles even though his cheek is swelled red from the slap given by Fire. He snaps out of the trance and rubs his cheek. He puts it back into drive as the scene fades to black.
