:: The scene opens inside the Ameristar pavilion, with a packed house. POW ring announcer Richard Huff is in the ring with a microphone and he speaks to the audience.
Richard Huff: Ladies and Gentlemen the action in the ring will continue shortly but at this time could you please direct your attention to the video screen for a brief public address.
:: The majority of the audience do turn to the video screen
:: Greg Kilgreen appears on the screen. The crowd, as a whole, do not react. However a small group about four rows back near the entranceway begin a “Greg’s gonna kill ya” chant. This eventually subsides as Greg begins to speak.
Greg Kilgreen: Good evening POW fans, I am Greg Kilgreen and with me, at this time, is the founder of the Four Horsemen: XE and one of the participants in this weeks up coming eight man tag team encounter, he is “The Incomparable” Big Ci.
The camera pans out to reveal Big Ci stood in a suit and tie. He is looking at the camera.
GK: Good evening Ci, good to have you here as always. Now, if I may, I’d like to take this time to get your thoughts on the impending eight man tag team match, as well as a number of topics. Now through out the week we have heard from all the horsemen regarding the match but, not yet, have we heard from any of you directly. As I have said we have a lot of questions, ok.
Big Ci: I’ll try my best to answer all of them to the best of my abilities.
GK: Ok Ci. Firstly, of course there is your match against the team of Nick Pickles, Victor Bloodmoon, the POW Television championship Black, and the POW Valor champion, George Duke. First off your thoughts on your opponents.
BC: Well let’s break it down. First we take Nick Pickles. Nick I have history with you. Not so long ago you left me on my back, looking up at the lights. On that night I swore to my self that I would get you back. And I did. At “All In” I damn near decapitated you with a clothesline and three seconds later the match was over. So, to, was my problem with you. I have no more animosity toward you. I beat you and that’s it. But this week we find ourselves opponents once more. That said, I treat you as a normal opponent, just some other guy I have to beat. Now some may say that that makes me less inclined to push for the win. But I disagree.
You see, when I find myself against someone that has done me wrong, I feel the need to teach them a lesson. When someone I am facing has upset me, I feel the need to beat them from pillar to post. Now if I chose to do that in this match I could leave my team alone, and I don’t want to do that. No in this match I am not after Nick Pickles. I am after one thing… the win… and I’m gonna get it.
But it’s not gonna just be Pickles that me and the Horsemen have to go through to get the win. No he has quite a team. First there’s Black, the TV champion, the man that defeated my boy Lance for that TV championship. Now whilst he beat Lance under dubious circumstances, the fact remains that he defeated Lance. With so many people in that ring on Thursday, there is, of course, the opportunity to get involved from time to time. But Master Lee, I suggest you don’t because once the match is over, I can take things personally again. As can Lance, as can the Hunters. And you can know all the martial arts in the world, but you can only kick so many of us in the head before one grabs a hold of you.
Then, there’s Victor Bloodmoon. Victor has been called a lot of things by my partners. Dave called him a Nazi. I disagree. Victor isn’t a Nazi, he is the most dominant tag team partner that I have ever had. Hell if UWL was still going then we could very well be Tag Team Champions at this point. Of course, I’m sure Tito and JTN would have something to say about that.
The point is this, Victor Bloodmoon is not to be taken lightly. Victor Bloodmoon is one of the biggest, strongest, toughest guys that I have ever met and had the misfortune to face. But, the fact of the matter is that I am facing him. The fact of the matter is I want to win. The fact of the matter is that I have a team of guys with me who also want to win. And whilst Victor Bloodmoon may as well be the last walking piece of the Berlin Wall, there is no way I am lying down. Victor, I am not taking you lightly, so don’t take me or the horsemen likely, because if you do the next time you see the inside of a hospital won’t be on Scrubs.
Finally, we come to George Duke. The POW Valor champion. Mr. Duke, you may not like me, you may not like the Horsemen, you may want to be sick when you even say the name, but to be quite honest… I couldn’t give a flying f**k. You see because whilst I may not like the people on your team, and whilst I only respect yourself and Victor, I have a particular distain for you. You wanna know why… because you know you’re good and you love to tell people. You know that you are the Valor champion and you love to exploit that and milk it for all it’s worth. So you may not like me or the Horsemen but I don’t care.
And as for going hold for hold with Lance Erickson… ha… you may not have the chance because whilst I’m not going at Pickles on a personal level this time round, I’m not sure if I can help but feel a certain sense of joy if I punch you in the face or choke all the life out of your body. George Duke, I’m coming for you, and the Horsemen are coming for the “W”.
GK: Alright, next subject. There has been talk that maybe Lance Erickson is somewhat discontented with the Horsemen. What are your thoughts on this rumour?
BC: Well… Lance has certainly not said anything to me about being upset. I know that he has had a certain change in attitude recently, getting a new suit, getting a little serious. However, this change is something he needed to do for other reasons. He lost the television championship after just a week and I think that he felt in his mind that he should have won regardless of any interference.
Now whilst I love that he is dressing better and he is a little more serious, he shouldn’t take the loss to heart. He was screwed out of his title due to circumstances outside his control. Had I been able to I would have come out to deal with Master Lee however I was indisposed at the time as was Dave and Shane. Also, I think Lance would have been a little PO’d had we gotten involved. In a sense I feel losing was good for Lance, as he will be better for it in the end. And I am sure that one day that title will be back around his waist, if he hasn’t already moved on to bigger, better things. This attitude adjustment can only be good for the Horsemen and Lance himself, and that will be proven this week.
GK: If I may I’d like to ask you about the Horsemen as a whole… this is the first time that all four of you will team together. Your thoughts on the horsemen’s first outing.
BC: Yeah, this is the first outing for the Horsemen and it is, as I have said, a big test. But we have all the tools necessary to get the win this week. Take a look. On their team we have the six foot eleven inch, three hundred and twenty pound Victor Bloodmoon. But what’s two inches and a few pounds when you’re up against the six’ nine, two eighty four International Heavyweight Champion, Dave Hunter… answer, not a lot. Then there’s Nick Pickles, but all the money in the world can’t buy a slow enough three count when you’ve just been hit with a two hundred and forty five pound shooting star press, by the name of Shane Hunter. Black, “The Master of Mean”, you won’t be saved by a quick handed manager this week if you get dropped on your head from about six feet in the air with a package piledriver. Then there’s George Duke. Well George Duke, George you can spout all the crap you want to, it means nothing. Because if I get a hold of you this week, I don’t care how tough you are, you won’t be tough enough because I will beat you down, then beat you back up again, and then I’ll do it again, over and over and over till you can’t be beat anymore. I’m not saying it’ll be easy, because it won’t. But it’s gonna happen.
You see i find myself driving down the "Road to Spring Breakage" in a big rig called the Four Horsemen: XE, and i find find myself coming up against a road block. I have two options, slow down and be stopped or drive right through it. This week you will find that my decision is to smash through the son of a bitch. Prey that you get out of the way before it's far too late. Big Ci over and out.
:: Ci continues to look into camera as the scene fades out
