*The scene fades in and Lestat is seen wearing a black leather pant, an Art of Chaos band tee-shirt, and a black business suit jacket. He reaches up and knocks on the door of the home that belongs to Fire and Mr. Showtime. Fire opens the door and smiles to Lestat. She is wearing black sweats and has her hair pulled back. She steps back and lets him in*
Lestat: Are you feeling any better Fire darling?
Fire: Somewhat. While you were away, my husband had a lot to say. Maybe you should come watch it. I am worried for your safety.
Lestat: I will be okay. Do not worry about me.
*Lestat walks in and sits down on a large black leather couch. He props his feet up on a stainless steal coffee table and presses play knowing Fire recorded what Showtime had to say. He watches the whole thing and turns it off. He looks to Fire. *
Lestat: If beating up on me and Shadow is what is needed for you two to work this mess out then I will gladly let him.
Fire: No, you can’t do that. He might hurt you. I don’t want either of you hurt. This is no fair.
Lestat: I know you think it is unfair, but its going to happen no matter what we think about it. I will be okay. I will make sure he doesn’t cause major damage to me.
Fire: What about this Shade guy. He says he was gonna be your tag team partner back in the day when we were training you to be part of our replacements.
Lestat: If he wants to call himself Shade let him. I do not care what he wants to call himself. I know he has your best interest and Showtime’s best interest at heart. He wants you two to work out as much as I do. No matter what he calls him self I know he has not changed. As do you if you look in your heart.
*Fire sighs and sits next to Lestat*
Fire: Yeah I know, but all of this is so hard to deal with. He wants me to meet him after the show. How can I just walk away and leave you hurt in the ring?
Lestat: Easy you take those two long legs of yours and walk away. I will be fine. I want you to go with him after the match. I want you to work it out if you can. You love him and he loves you.
Fire: Sometimes love is not enough. He has kept things from me.
Lestat: Yes but he also shared a lot with you as well.
Fire: This is true too, but why would he keep the history with Shadow from me? Does he think I am not strong enough? Does he think I am weak?
Lestat: No of course not. He probably just does not recall what he has and what he has not told you. Do not let this stress you focus on forgiveness and love. It is what you both will need to make this marriage work.
Fire: I just don’t know. He did all those horrible things to those paramedics and he wants me to go with him after the match.
Lestat: Yes, but he does not want to harm you. He even said it himself. So please do what you need and go with him after the match. Choose him not loneliness.
Fire: Maybe, but I don’t know. Maybe I should give him one last kiss and tell him its time to let me go.
Lestat: You know as well as I do that is not what you want. That is just the pain in your heart talking. Please think things threw before you act. Do not let your temper get the better of you on something this important.
Fire: Yeah I guess you are right. I guess I should think things threw, but what about you. How are you gonna handle both my possessed husband and that damned Shadow?
Lestat: Simple I will put up the fight of my life, because my life depends on it. Like I have said already do not worry about it. It will all work out in the wash.
Fire: I guess so.
*Fire lays her head on his shoulder. She grabs the remote and begins to flip threw channels on the tv*
Lestat: Did you eat more then that one bite of bacon?
Fire: No, I didn’t. I am too depressed to eat.
Lestat: That is no way to be. You need all your strength to be able to talk things threw with your husband.
Fire: Eh I don’t care.
Lestat: I know that is not true. You rest here and watch tv and I will order you some pizza.
Fire: Don’t bother I will not eat it.
Lestat: Yes you will too. I am not gonna let you starve yourself just because you are having a misunderstanding with Mr. Showtime.
Fire: You can’t make me eat! I will tear you apart before you even face Showtime and Shadow.
*Lestat laughs and calls and orders pizza the way Fire likes it knowing she will not pass up on a good slice of pizza*
Lestat: Lets order a movie to calm you down. I do not want you crying today. You should be thinking of how soon you will be with your husband.
Fire: I am afraid we may not be able to work things out unless I am willing to ruin my friendship with you.
Lestat: If that is what is needed then I will understand. I will go back to being the friend you just hang out with once in a while. When I got that letter from both you and Showtime, I came running cause I knew you would want my support, and I though that is what he wanted as well. I see now I am wrong. He did not want me, but he wanted Shade. He has never feared Shade being close to you, but I do not know why he fears me near you. I have not made a move on you and will not make a move on you. I just do not see why things have to be this way. I do not want him to be so paranoid when it comes to me and you.
Fire: I am unsure why he is so paranoid as well. I guess cause. He does not trust me enough.
Lestat: No, I think it is me he does not trust.
*Lestat sits down back next to Fire and orders an action movie. Fire watches the movie with him. The sound of the door bell can be heard later. Lestat stands and walks to the door and pays the pizza man. He sits the pizza down on the coffee table and smiles as he opens the box. Fire reaches in and takes a piece and starts to eat*
Lestat: See I told you that you would eat if I got pizza.
*Fire glares at Lestat and continues to eat the Supreme pizza that he ordered. Lestat sits back down next to Fire. *
Lestat: I know you hate it when I am right. So what do you think of the movie?
Fire: Its all right, but I still miss Showtime.
Lestat: Of course you do. He is your one true love.
*Fire and Lestat finish watching the action movie. Lestat looks down at Fire to see she is sound asleep. *
Lestat: At least you are finally sleeping.
*Lestat looks to the camera*
Lestat: I cannot believe you are putting her threw this. What kind of man are you? You say it is for her protection, but I do not believe that. You want her so much you have lost your mind trying to figure out how to get rid of me. Things did not have to come to blows Showtime. We could have talked this out like two grown men. I am not and will not make a move on your wife. She wants you and only you in her life and her bed. When this match is said and done no matter who wins she will walk out with you. You are her life no matter what you do. As for the car the company did not give it to you. They gave it to her for a price and she gave it to you. So she payed for it, just not full price. So you should be thankful that she cares so much for you.
*Lestat stands up and picks Fire up. He walks down the hall to Fires room. He carries her inside and lays her on a large California king bed and lays the covers over her. He walks back out and sits back on the couch*
Lestat: Showtime you should be in that room with her. You should be laying next to her. You should do a lot but instead you are off somewhere with Shade wanting to harm me. I am not the enemy here. You are your own enemy.
*Lestat stands and picks up the pizza box. He walks to the fridge and places it in the fridge. *
Lestat: I hope for Fire’s sake you are on your way to be here with her. Where you are needed, and if not then I hope you feel the guilt set in for leaving her all alone.
*Lestat walks to the door and opens it. He walks out shutting the door. With the sound of the door slam shut the scene fades to black. *
