*The scene fades in showing Greg Kilgreen dressed in a black suit. He stands looking straight at the camera. *
Greg: Welcome POW fans. Can you guys believe the last show? There were so many surprises. I am here to talk to Lestat about some of the things that have happened to him over the last few weeks. Maybe we can get some straight answers. Who knows maybe we will even run into Fire and get some answers from here too. I can’t believe what these two are doing to Mr. Showtime.
*Fire walks up and stands on the left of Greg. She is wearing a Mr. Showtime and Fire promo shirt, and skin tight black jeans. Her hair is pulled back into a neat ponytail. She looks to Greg. *
Fire: Greg to say I am doing anything to Mr. Showtime in a bad way is completely wrong. I am not trying to hurt my husband. I am trying to fix things, but pricks like you try and knock it down every chance you get. None of you understand me or him. Sure things have gotten more public then I would have liked, but it had to be done. Showtime and I are patching things up the best we can. So lay off. Hopefully my husband has got beating Lestat out of his system and we can start to repair things even better.
Greg: I don’t think Mr. Showtime is done with Lestat at all. I think Lestat is just getting a break from another beating.
Fire: The more my husband insists on beating up on my friend the further he pushes our chances of finding our way back to each other. He will realize this I hope before it’s to late. I cannot and will not choose between them. Showtime is my loving husband who I want to grow old with, and Lestat is my best friend who has always been there for me.
Greg: It looks like you are going to have no choice but to choose. Don’t you realize you can stop all of this just by sticking with your husband? Then he would have no more reason to attack Lestat, and you would have no worries about Lestat’s safety. You would know that Showtime wouldn’t be beating him into a bloody pulp.
Fire: I have already said I won’t choose. Lestat can take care of himself. He just keeps holding back hoping that Showtime will get this out of his system. See my husband thinks that Lestat has let himself go since we trained him and Shade, but that’s not true.
*Lestat walks up and stands on the right side of Greg*
Lestat: Yes what she is saying is true. Showtime I did not let myself go. I spent many of a day and night in the ring fighting keeping my skills fresh and honed. Constantly learning as much as I could. I know it doesn’t show, but I do not want to harm you. I am tired of our fighting. I promise I will make no moves on your wife because I want us to be friends again. Heck maybe even one day we can even team together. So, please Mr. Showtime accept my apology for being a fool. I meant to harm no one yet I harmed many.
Greg: Do you really think he’s going to buy that load of bull? He will never forgive you. He made that loud and clear.
Lestat: Sometimes you can make things loud and clear, but still change your mind. I am hoping Showtime and I can work things out without any more violence.
*Greg laughs at the though of Showtime and Lestat ever working things out. *
Greg: Coming up this week you are taking on one of the four horsemen Lance Erikson. What are you plans to defeat such a talented person?
Lestat: Simple. Give it one hundred and ten percent. He can celebrate by sitting on the couch with a bunch of guys and one pretty lady if he wants. That is not my type of thing. He can even joke about me being a vampire. That does not bother me either, because at least they have talents. Super strength, speed, lots of things. So if you want to poke fun at me because of my dress and pale skin please go right ahead. It will not sway me one way or the other.
Greg: Fire if he loses will you be there to pick up the pieces?
Fire: I am Lestat’s friend not his woman or his baby sitter. I will be in the back waiting for my husband’s victory.
Greg: Will you celebrate with Lestat if he somehow manages too win?
Fire: I will congratulate him but I must repair things with my husband. So first things first will be Mr. Showtime.
Lestat: I am glad you see things that way Fire. I hope things work out and I am sorry for the damage I caused.
Fire: I told you already that you’re forgiven so just drop it before I change my mind.
*Fire walks off and Greg looks to Lestat*
Greg: Doesn’t sound like she really forgave you?
Lestat: Maybe not, but at least she is not beating me up to take out her frustrations. So it is a good day.
Greg: Do you really think you can keep all this up? You are trying too win an impossible match. You are trying to keep Fire from hating you, and you are trying to make up with Mr. Showtime. Have you not reached your limits?
Lestat: Yes I can keep all of this up for as long as need be. It is not an impossible match, because nothing is impossible. I can and will do my best to beat Lance. I will shut out all of this stuff to do with Fire and Showtime and bring what I must to the table. Either Showtime and Fire will forgive me or they will not all I can do now is hope. So no, I have not reached my limits as of yet. I do however believe it is time for me to go. I have a workout to go to.
*Lestat walks off with a quickened pace. Greg looks to the camera and smiles*
Greg: What an interesting night this has turned out to be.
*The camera fades to black as the scene comes to an end. *
