We see a shot of a magazine editors office. He's an old man, sitting at a maple desk drinking tea from a white cup. In his hands he holds a new copy of 'POW Magazine', hot off the press, as multiple copies get onto shelves, he flicks to the pages of Kid Lucks History.... Chapter 1: Birth of a Madman Born in Middlesbrough,England on 24th May 1985, Kid Luck grew up in the ghetto, he learnt to fight from a very early age, taking care of his younger brothers. His parents left them both while his sister moved away... growing up he was an avid follower of professional wrestling and from an early age dreamed of stepping into the squared circle like his heroes before him. After following the sport for many years, Kid decided he wanted to finally follow in the footsteps of heroes like Mil Mascaras and El Gran Luchadore, his high-flying heroes. Kid Luck got his wish when he signed with UWl in early 2006. This was to mark the birth of the Luckiest Man in Sports Entertainment. Chapter 2: Rising through the Ranks It didn't take long for Kid to make an impression, defeating Jefferson on his debut. It was after that when Kid Luck got involved with Kris Williams, the Rawk Superstar handed Kid his first loss. Kid learned from his mistakes and rebounded, defeating Kris later on in record time. UWL management took note of the risks Kid took and how much he was willing to put his body on the line. This helped propel Kids to new heights as his destiny was calling him to his heritage.. Chapter 3: The Champion On the 31st of May 2006, Just one week after his birthday. Kid Luck bounded into the big-time following a huge win. Kid was a very loved superstar, both backstage and with the fans. He slapped hands, signed autographs and held an amazing amount of public events to show the UWL fans how much he appreciated their input into his rise. Kid Luck held fellow POW stars Flap Flanagan and FDCM to an amazing match which lasted just short of half an hour. Kid put on his best performance as he pinned FDCM with an Inside Cradle. Kid became the UWL Heritage Champion and it would mark the incredible reign. Chapter 4: Record Breaker Kid Luck fast became a force to be reckoned with. He defended his Heritage title against such superstars as FDCM, Flap Flanagan, Eddie Jones and a returning Kris Williams. He was batting off the challengers with a huge amount of support from the fans. Kid Luck finally overcame Josh Eagles record of 84 days and became the longest reigning UWL Heritage Champion. Chapter 5: Retirement Eddie Jones would break the record as Kids record lasted just short of 2 days before coming to a total reign of 4 months. Kid had still left his mark on the annels of UWL history. Where now?The freshfaced Kid had became tired. His body worn out thanks to several risks taken, it had gotten so bad that he was to the point where he could no longer wrestle without experiencing excruciating pain in his Knees and Upper Back where he had been repeatedly injured. Kid Luck faced a unknown fellow Englishman at the Anniversary show, where he would make his retirement. Not after having a healthy reign with Josh Eagles as UWL Tag Team champions. Kid had finally done it and retired. Making up with Josh Eagles. Kid said he would never wrestle again thanks to the pain and injuries. But something would change. Chapter 6: Surgery Kid Luck, in early 2007, walked into surgery falling a trapped nerve in his back. Doctors spent a record 5 hours and 12 minutes untrapping it and repairing his back. His knees were also in trouble as the cartilage had worn away and the joints were becoming eroded. Kid fought against all the odds and managed a healthy recovery. His knees were as good as new, injected with artificial cartilage, along with surgical repair to wear his joints had eroded. Doctors placed plates into Kids back and lectured him, telling him to avoid wrestling and anything high-flying..but he would defy all odds.. Chapter 7: Power On Wrestling Kid walked into POW a new man. Recently married to Tavi Whitten, by his side, the two became a quick force in the ring, Tavi kept on urging Kid to go the distance..something had changed. Kid was taking more and more risks. He would catapult everywhere and not give a damn whether his health was at risk. Could Kid be stupid? Or is this the rebirth of the Kid in his prime. Chapter 8: The Human Kamikaze What remains for the Human Kamikaze? Only one thing. To gain gold and recognition in POW. Could he revive the old Kid? He certainly seems to be popular enough and the crowd are loving the new Kamikaze Kid. He wants to change the annels of time just like he did with UWL. On 24th May 2007. Kid Luck could celebrate his birthday with a title shot at the POW Valor Title..Will he finally do it? Only time tells.. |
Time? What is time? Time is the grains of sand passing us through the glass. The truth is, maybe it is, maybe it isn't, I've been waiting for this match all my life, I'd like Kid to go through this next step of his legacy and defy the odds the doctors put against me! We see the speeding bullet-like Silver Dodge Viper SRT10 bursting through the highways. Kid is sitting in the black interior, wearing a black denim jacket, stone-washed jeans and a white shirt with aviator-style sunglasses with the radio turned up loudly, with the crystal windows down so everyone can hear. He sings along with the radio loudly I don't know what they're talking about I'm making my own decisions This thing that I found Ain't gonna bring me down I'm like a junkie without an addiction Mama don't cry I just wanna say hi Like playing with danger or fear Everybody's walking but nobody's talking It looks a lot better from here All my life I've been over the top I don't know what I'm doing, All I know is I don't wanna stop All fired up, I'm gonna go till I drop You're either in or in the way, don't make me, I don't wanna stop Why don't they ever listen to me?
