The scene opens up at the Ameristar Casino as Shawn Stevens enters the building. On one shoulder sits the POW Midwestern Heavyweight Championship and the other sits the UWC International Championship. Stevens walks down the hall and towards his locker room. Standing outside is Greg Kilgreen, staring at his watch. He appears to be impatient waiting for the arrival of Stevens. Stevens sidles up next to him and Kilgreen never looks at him, he stares down the opposite end of the hall then back to his watch. Triple S looks down the same direction and then at his own watch, mocking Kilgreen.
Shawn: Waiting for someone?
Greg: Yeah Shawn Stevens. I need to interview him.
Again Kilgreen looks down the hall then back at his watch.
Shawn: Whatcha gonna ask him?
Greg: Oh I don't know, I'm sure he's gonna blow me off again. He's usually here by now. So I know he's avoiding me or he's with Kip Anderson as always.
Shawn: Now why would he do a thing like that?
Greg: Cause he thinks I'm incompetent or something. He always makes fun of me or mocks me. At a recent press conference he made a fool out of me, then I finally got to talk to him and he again made me out to look like an ass.
Shawn: I'm sure it's just good fun. Stevens doesn't seem like the type to do a thing like that.
Kilgreen again looks down the hall trying to see if he can spot his interviewee without realizing he's next to him. Steven follows suit mimicking Kilgreen to a tee.
Greg: No he's a little spoiled arrogant asshole who rode his brother's coattailes to popularity.
Shawn: But you got to give it to him, he's pretty good.
Greg: He is, but he thinks he's way better than he is, especially now he won the UWC International title, his ego is gonna be huge.
Shawn: Wait, isn't that the first title that he held AND Jay T. Nitro held? Cause that has to be an amazing feat that you can't take away from him.
Greg: Like I said, I'll give him his due, but he's not as great as he claims, not even close to his brother. If he dropped the attitude he'd be a lot better in my eyes.
Shawn: You don't think the attitude has helped him win all that?
Greg: Maybe, but he's still not all that special. Hardly the Sensational title he claims to be. And he's been that since he debuted. A little full of himself even then. Still riding his brother's reputation. And that of FDCM's as well. Such a shame when a person has to do that to succeed.
Shawn: He wins his matches on his own, I've never seen him cheat to win a match like some others. And now he has Final Cut this week with Lance Erikson. That has to be a win for them.
Greg: Yeah if Lance does all the work. Stevens needs someone to take that title from him and make him look like the fool he is.
Shawn: Aren't interviewers supposed to be unbiased?
Kilgreen looks down the hall quickly.
Greg: IS THAT HIM!?
Stevens looks down at himself then down the hall where Kilgreen is looking.
Shawn: Uhhhh.....nope....don't think so....
Kilgreen lowers his head and stares back at his watch.
Greg: And yeah, we are supposed to be, but he just gets under my skin so much. I can't stand it. And I'm as unbiased as I can be on camera, but we are allowed to say whatever we want off camera.
Stevens turns and points at the camera right next to the pair and does a blatant silent laugh, then gets a straight face on.
Shawn: Well is there anyone else you hate?
Greg: Don't get me started. Rich Morrison, Flying Diamond Cutter Man, Josh Eagles, George Duke, and even Tito Capaci......
Shawn: You hate your boss? What for?
Greg: I've deserved a raise for a while, and instead of that he books two pandas to fight. That was a truckload of money that could have been mine.
Shawn: But that was hilarious. Teddy Davis had his own tribute match, something he'll never have again. And the fans loved it. Isn't that what it's all about?
Greg: Not when I want what I deserve.
Shawn: Well buddy, you keep waiting for that Stevens character. I have things to do. Good luck keeping all that stuff a secret. Mums the word, I won't say a thing.
Greg: Thanks. You're a class act, unlike some people around here.
Stevens turns to enter his locker room and slides into the room. Kilgreen finally looks up.
Greg: I never even caught your name.
Kilgreen sees Stevens door closing and hears the lock click from the other side. The color drains from his face as he realizes what just happened. He tries to test his luck and knocks on the door.
Greg: Shawn???
Stevens replies from the inside.
Shawn: Busy Gregger, come back later.
The wheels in Kilgreen's head start to turn and his eyes go wide. He grabs his head with both hands.
Greg: Oh shit.....
Kilgreen takes off like a bat out of hell. Stevens unlocks the door and pops his head out and gets a huge grin on his face as he sees Kilgreen running down the hall. The scene fades to black.
