After the attack on Reck and Jayde by the Green Ranger... Jayde was left in some pretty dire straights... This story continues...
We turn our attention back to the first hotel of this story... but now we are in the room of Maria and Reiko. Reiko is laying on her bed staring up on the ceiling as Maria is modeling various tops to see which one she would want to wear to Legendaria...
Maria - I think I like the one in Purple...
Reiko looks over at Maria. She nods in agreement.
Reiko - Yeah... I like that one - It looks good on you.
Maria - Thank you! But... I think I want to wear the one with the pony on it.
Reiko - Maria... That IS the one with the pony on it... It's the same shirt.
Maria - Oh Yeah!! YAY!
Maria starts jumping up and down excitedly as Reiko slowly shakes her head and closes her eyes when suddenly... CRASH! A figure smashes through the window causing both girls to scream. It's Reck Maverick with Jayde in his arms. Reiko quickly sits up and jumps off the bed to where Reck and Jayde are.
Reiko - Oh my God! What happened to you two?!
Reck Maverick - We were attacked at Jayde's hotel... Maria! Can you get your clothes off that bed - She needs to be put down.
Maria nods and quickly scoops all her clothing up off the bed as Reck lays Jayde down on it. Reiko places her hand on Reck's shoulder.
Reiko - Reid... What can I do?
Reck Maverick - Reiko... Go and get some wet towels.
Reiko nods and leaves the room. Reck kneels beside his teammate.
Reck Maverick - Power Down...
A low hazy red glow fills the room as Reck changes back to his normal form... He is overcome with dizziness... He hasn't slept since they left the building earlier that week. He gently takes Jayde's hand and closes his eyes... He almost immediately losses consciousness. Reiko comes back into the room and notices the situation, she knows what Reid is feeling so she doesn't disturb him as she begins to apply first aid to Jayde... Maria is still standing there holding her clothes. Reiko looks at her and smiles warmly.
Reiko - Maria... It would probably be for the best if you go over to Flap's room.
Maria - Okay...
Maria slowly begins to walk toward the door, she quietly opens the door and exits... Reiko spends a little time attending to Jayde's injuries and then sits down on her own bed... She stares over at Reid and Jayde... Reiko hasn't really gotten to know Jayde but she's heard stories about the adventures she has had with The Hero of Our Story. A small smile crawls along her face. She recalled on how Jayde had helped Reid through his time of despair just the same way Reid had come through to help her during her crisis after being kicked to the proverbial curb by FDCM. Reiko continued to watch the duo until sleep came over her like the other two entities in that room...

A timid knock echoed through the door and into the room... the minuscule sound was enough to awaken Reid... He stood up and summoned his Blade of Legend and began to draw it form it's sheath... That sound in turn woke up Reiko... She stared at Reid and quickly grabbed his arm.
Reiko - What's wrong?
Reid just tipped his head toward the door. Reiko looked over her shoulder at the door and a second series of knocks emitted from them. She turned her attention back Reid.
Reiko - It's okay Reid... I'll answer it, you just focus on her.
Reid looks back down at Jayde and he slides his blade back into the sheath as Reiko rolls over the bed and walks up to the door. She opens the door slightly.
Reiko - Yes?
It's Greg Kilgreen... yay...
Greg Kilgreen - Hi, Reiko is it? I heard Reck Maverick is in there... Can I please speak to him? I have some questions regarding Legendaria.
Reiko looks over his shoulder and sees Reid kneel beside his partner, clinging to her hand. Reiko steps out into the hall and shuts the door.
Reiko - As Reck Maverick's manager I can answer any questions you may here Greg.
Greg Kilgreen - I kind of wanted to give the info straight from Reck's own mouth.
Reiko crosses her arms.
Reiko - Well Reck is a little under the weather today... So either ask me the questions or please leave!
Greg curses something under his breath and Reiko raises an eyebrow.
Reiko - Excuse me?!
Greg nervously rubs the back of his neck.
Greg Kilgreen - N-nothing, just have Reck contact me when he gets to the building please...
Reiko - I will give him the message.
Greg begins to nervously walk away... Reiko just shakes her head.
Reiko - What an odd little man.
Reiko re-enters the hotel room and she sees Reid looking out the window.
Reiko - Hey Reid... Greg Kilgreen wants to talk to you when we get to the building.
Reid - I'm not going...
Reiko - WHAT??
Reid turns his head and looks at her.
Reid - I have to find the Green Ranger... He hurt one of my closest friends... and I can't let him get away with it...
Reid pulls out his Ninjetti Buckler... Reiko quickly walks over to him.
Reiko - What about your dream? What about the title!
Reid looks down at his fallen comrade and Reiko's eye fallow suit.
Reid - A wise man once told me there are thing more important that a championship belt...
Reid is about to transform when a third faint third voice fills the room.
Reck...
Reid - Jayde!
Reid immediately runs to Jayde side. A tear of joy flows down his cheek.
Reid - Kunoichi... are you ok?
Jayde - I will be...
Reid - That's good... I'm about to go find that Green Ranger and beat him down...
Jayde - No...
Reid - What? Why?
Jayde - You have a championship match... Go to it... Win that belt and together... we will defeat The Green Ranger!
Reid - Are you sure?
A smile appears on Jayde's face.
Jayde - Oh yeah... Team Ninjetti Atomico with WHOOP the Green Rangers ass... and you will defeat Shawn Stevens and bring home the gold.
Reid smiles then looks at his Buckler... he removes the medal in the center and places it in Jayde's hand. A confused look appears on Jayde's face.
Jayde - What are you doing? You need this to Power Up...
Reid - No... Keep it, use it's power to heal yourself... I'll handle Shawn Stevens... The old school.
Reid plants a kiss on Jayde's head... Even Jayde herself is shocked by this.
Reid - Be safe Kunoichi...
Reid stands up and looks at Reiko.
Reid - Reiko...
Reiko - Yeah!
Reid - Can you stay here and watch over Jayde for me?
Reiko nods her head.
Reiko - Sure
Reid walks across the room, he stops and places a hand on Rei's shoulder.
Reid - Thank you...
Reiko smiles.
Reiko - It's no problem... Good Luck Reid...
Reid nods and leaves the room... Reiko stares at the door for a second. Jayde laughs a little, and Reiko turns her attention to her.
Jayde - You're a miracle worker Reiko... I never knew Reck to be that emotional.
Reiko - Don't thank me Jayde... it's all you, now let's see what I can do about that battle dressing...

But questions still are abound... We still don't know about The Green Ranger, and what did Reck Maverick mean when he said that he would take care of Shawn Stevens "Old School Style?"
