Reid had to travel across town to find the hotel that Jayde had booked into. It was a hell of a lot fancier than the one that Reid and the gang. Reid walked into the main lobby and approached the lady that was in charge of checking people in or out of the hotel. Reid stands before the lady and smiles at him.
Lady - May I help you?
Reid - Yes as a matter of fact... I'm looking for a Ms. Nightwood - Jayde Nightwood.
The lady makes a few taps into her keyboard... She then slaps her own forehead... Reid tilts his head.
Reid - Is something the matter?
Lady - Yeah... I was checking the computer and I remembered that she IS in... another fellow came in a few moments before you... Strange fellow dressed in Green.
Reid - Green?
Lady - Yeah... anyway she's on the second floor room... 2E. The elevator is down the hall to the right.
Reid looks down the hallway she was referring to and he nods.
Reid - Thanks.
Reid begins to walk down the hallway.
Lady - Um... Excuse me?
Reid stops and looks back at her.
Lady - I'm sorry... but my husband makes me watch this wrestling program called Power On Wrestling... Aren't you that Ninja guy that is headlining the next big show?
Reck stands there for a second... He never really liked it when people recognized him out of costume... besides this wasn't the best time for autographs... So Reid puts on a fake smile.
Reid - I'm sorry... you must have me confused with someone else.
The lady frowns.
Lady - My apologizes sir.
Reid - No problem... happens all the time.
Lady - Have a nice day.
Reid - You too.
Reid walks to the elevator and press the button. He waits for a few seconds and the door open up and a couple exit and Reid enters... He presses the button marked "2" and the door shut. As the elevator begins to rise Reid begins to think to himself.
Reid - Green? Green!? Who does Jayde know that where's green? especially this time of year...
Reid looks down at his own apparel... Denim shorts and a black T-shirt.. he shrugs.
Reid - Well I guess I'm not one to talk about fashion trends... But the only person I can think of that deals with Green is Shawn Stevens? But what would Jayde and Shawn be doing together? This doesn't make any sense unless Shawn is trying to get some real hardcore inside info about me since no one... NO ONE knows me like she does.
Reid looks down at the floor.
Reid - And considering the way I've acted toward her the past couple months I wouldn't be surprised if she willingly divulged my darkest secrets...
There is an audible "DING" as the doors slide open. Reid steps out into the hallway and begins to walk down the hall. He stops in front of room 2E and he slowly raises his fist to knock but he lowers it... What is Shawn IS in there? Will a fight break out? Reid figures he might as well knock and see what happens. He raises his fist to knock... suddenly BLAM! something... or rather SOME ONE crashes right through the door and lands on Reid... It's Jayde! She opens her eyes and she sees who she landed on.
Jayde - Reck!?
She rolls off his chest and they both Kip up and turn to each other.
Reid - Jayde!? What's going on!
Jayde opens her mouth to speak but before one word can come out another figure busts through the door. Dressed head to toe in Green and White and wearing an identical set of Dragon Armour as Reck Maverick's. He stand before the T-N-A. Reid tilts his head.
Reid - Who are you!?
The man in green gives off a haunting laugh.
??? - HA! Finally I have found the man that has been ripping ME off... I thought I could find out your where abouts from the girl but... Looks like I don't have to look... You KNOW who I am!
Reid looks the stranger over and uneasily shakes his head.
Reid - No... Impossible! You lost you powers YEARS ago!
Jayde looks at Reid.
Jayde - Who is this guy?!
??? - I'm insulted... You don't know of the LEGEND! I am...
The Man in Green strikes an all to familiar pose.
??? - THE GREEN RANGER! and Reck Maverick...
Reid sinks into a battle stance
Green Ranger - Today you will destroyed!
He pulls out a familiar looking blade... The long curved white blade glimmers under the fluorescent lights... It's been known as the Hellfriede Blade, The Sword of Darkness but right now... it's Trouble. Reid looks at Jayde.
Reid - This won't be good... Are you ready!?
She nods.
Jayde - Oh yeah... This dude is gonna pay for busting up my room!
They both reach behind their backs and grab their Ninjetti Bucklers... They hold it out in front of them with their arms fully out-stretched.
[glow=red,2,300]Atomic Ninja...[/glow]
They rotate their hands 180 degrees...
[glow=red,2,300]POWER UP![/glow]
They press the hidden button and a brilliant flash fills the hall... powerful enough to make even the Green Ranger shield his eyes... and now standing before the Green Legend is Team Ninjetti Atomico - Jayde Nightwood and... RECK MAVERICK! Jayde draws her twin daggers.
Jayde - Phoenix Daggers!
Reck draws his sword...
Reck Maverick - Blade of Legend!
Green Ranger simply lets out a sarcastic laugh.
Green Ranger - You're worse then my former teammates... Come on and Fight!
Reck and Jayde charge the Ranger but leaps over Reck and dropkicks Jayde. When he reaches the ground he spins around a clashes blades with Maverick... Sparks fly from the respective blades of Good and Evil but Reck manages to swat away the Hellfriede Blade and throws a kick that Green Ranger catches and he throws the foot making Reck do a back-flip. Reck lands and throws a leg sweep the actually causes the Ranger to stumble... He turns around and Jayde is there with an one-two combo followed by a spinning back-fist and a reverse Pele Kick. Reck races up and locks the Ranger in a full nelson...
Reck Maverick - DRAGON... BUCKLER!
Reck drives both knees into the back on the Green Ranger and throws all his weight backwards to crack the Rangers back! The Green Ranger falls to his knees Jayde runs into finish the battle but Green Ranger leaps to his feet and kicks Jayde in the stomach followed by two right punches and a vintage Green Ranger tornado kick he spins to Reck as Reck throws a flurry of lefts and rights - Green counters them all Dragon Ball style and throws Reck overhead... but the Original Atomic Ninja lands on his feet beside Jayde... She grabs his shoulder to not only help Reck regain his balance but to talk strategy
Jayde - Reck... Green Ranger is too strong! What are we going to do?
Reck Maverick - We need more room... We have to get him up to the roof... luckily we are on the top floor.
Jayde - Right! I gotcha!
Green Ranger runs in and swings his blade but Reck and Jayde back-flip out of the way... The both hit a pose and nod. The Green Ranger tilts his head in confusion. Team Ninjetti Atomico rushes in... Reck grabs Green Ranger be the waist and lifts him up and Jayde runs up Reck's back and nails Green Ranger with a Col. Guile like Flash Kick that rockets the Green Ranger through the ceiling and up onto the roof. The duo give each other a high five and leap up through the hole created by our Green Fiend but he's gone? Reck and Jayde look around for him.
Jayde - I hate it when the bad guys pull the old disappearing act...
Reck Maverick - He couldn't have gone far Jayde... not after a shot like that...
Oh how right you are Reck Maverick!
Reck spins around as the Green Ranger grabs Jayde, and slashes her with the Sword of Darkness... The impact causes major spark damage to Jayde and she is flung a fair distance away... Reck runs over to her and kneels beside her. The impact made her involuntarily Power Down... She is unconious... The Green Ranger laughs!
Green Ranger - HA HA HA! How pathetic you are Reck Maverick! You can't even protect your friends... How can you stop THE GREEN RANGER!
Reck looks up at the Green Ranger... Tears of Pure Rage fill his eyes. He grabs his Blade of Legend...
Reck Maverick - DAMN YOU!!!
Reck charges the Green Ranger but the man in Green grabs the Zyusouken - His Dragon Dagger and vanishes in a puff of Green Mist just as the Blade of Legend would have sliced him in half. Reck stands there for a second... Breathing heavy. He slowly replaces the Blade of Legend in it's sheath and rushes back to Jayde's side... He checks her pulse... apparently she is alive as Reck lets out a sigh of relief... He scoops her up in his arms and disappears in a puff of smoke...
Will Jayde survive? Who is this Green Ranger and how is he connected to our hero? How will all this effect our heroes championship match at Legendaria?
