We find Reid Flanagan leaning against a random wall backstage, he... well he appears to be a sleep when Jayde enters the scene with Jimmy - POW resident guru of the camera. She sees Reid and smiles a little and tells Jimmy to talk a break for a little bit. She then walks over to Reid and shakes his shoulder - He wakes with a start.
Reid Flanagan - Huh... What the...?
Reid looks over his shoulder and sees Jayde standing there and he smiles himself.
Reid Flanagan - Oh... Hey.
Jayde - Rough night?
Reid Flanagan - Yep... Couldn't stop thinking about you!
Jayde blushes a little bit then slugs Reid playfully in the arm.
Jayde - Stop trying to be cute.
Reid Flanagan - Try? I am cute and you know it!
Jayde - Right... Now why were calling me at 2 in the morning?
The smile fades from Reid's face as the images of the nightmare re-enters his mind.
Reid Flanagan - Sorry... My mind was playing tricks on me.
Jayde - Aw... Someone had a bad dream...
Reid Flanagan - Yes... it was very disturbing as a matter of fact!
Jayde - What happened?

Jayde smiles... I always amazed her how much different Reck Maverick is compared to Reid Flanagan - almost like a completely different person. The duo walk over to the area that Jim mapped out for the taping and he starts filming.
Jayde - This is Jayde Nightwood backstage with the POW Midwestern Champion - Reck Maverick... Now Reck I have a lot of questions for you this week so should we get right to business?
Reck Maverick - Of course Kunoichi... My mind is a open book to you and your microphone.

Reck Maverick - The facts of the situation have been mis-understood Jayde. I did NOT come out to save Josh Eagles... I came out to help my brother - That is all. Josh had no right or reason to lay his hands on me and that is why I kicked him. It's not really a hard concept to grasp. I am loyal to those who are loyal to me. Flap shares half my bloodline and stands by my side most of the time. Josh made it clear long ago that he thinks that he is better then I am and that he didn't want or need my assistance. So if Kailus, Kyle, Bailey or Isaac want to break his bones, hurt him... destroy him - The more power to them but they put their hands on my brother... I draw the line.
Jayde - I see so you now protect only those you deem worthy of your protection?
Reck Maverick - Heh, You've been talking to Reiko haven't you... She seems hell bent on mending the rift between us. It's easy to point at me and label me the bad guy in this situation because I won't blindly buy into his facade of being the good guy. Let me tell you something... Everyone is complaining about Kailus as champion... Holmes' ego will be a cake-walk compared to Josh's if he wins that championship... Which I'm sure will happen since I've teamed with them both, fought them both and defeated them both - Eagles unfortunately is the better man of the two. Lest it be said now that I pity those who must deal with him after Reckless Abandon.
Jayde - Are you sure you're not just harbouring bad feelings.

Reck Maverick - In the last two weeks I have pinned the World Heavyweight Champion Kailus Holmes and the Mid-Atlantic Champion Buddy "Love" Johansson. I have proven my worth as a top draw for this company time and time again and how does Nitro repay my loyalty and dedication to POW Midwest? He shoves me to the middle of the card to face Night... Now this isn't a dig at Night... at least not yet, but don't you think I deserve to be treated just a LITTLE bit better then this? I mean putting the man with the most prestigious championship in the promotion in a non-relevant mid-card piece of random booking... That's even dumber the anything that Jay Jefferson could book... and that is sad.
I mean in the last month we have had Flying Diamond Cutter Man quit, George Duke get suspended... AGAIN, Shawn Stevens disappear off the face of the Earth, Rich Morrison retiring from active competition among other casualties... You would think Jay Nitro would take a little better care of important corner-stones of this promotions but what the hell do I know about booking huh?
Actually I must apologize to Jay T. Nitro for that last outburst... He is trying his hardest after all our beloved "father" Tito Capaci abandoned us and left Jay to pick up the pieces and re-build and in doing so has made POW even better he just needs to shake that last little bit of "UWL Booking" that is keeping POW from going National. I sure that putting me in a match with Night has some relevance. You think that Night is FINALLY going to use that damn Triple-A Medal of his and is challenging for this SUPA-SHWEET Championship belt do you?

Jayde promptly smacks Reck upside the head with enough force to nearly enough force to knock him down. The Big Goofy Glasses fall on the ground and Reck's blue eyes lock on to the green eyes of Jayde's.

Reck reaches down and grabs his glasses and places them back on his head.
Reck Maverick - Anyway... Night's tag partner violated me and for that I need compensation! Since I'm not fighting Daye... I'm sure he'll get his from... Bubba. I'm sorry that name makes me laugh...

Reck Maverick - Sorry... So any way I'll be looking to taking my vengeance out of Night... Now he may be bigger and stronger yada yada yada... But I'm not worried since I'm usually the underdog in my matches anyway - I'm used to it. But I am more CHARISMATIC and I have flashy-er moves and most importantly... I'm GETTING MY OWN CARTOON!!!

Flap Flanagan - Nothing... Just need to fill the lack of King of Dr. Pepper cameo for this week... FLAPPER VANISH!
Flap pulls out two cans of Silly String and begins to fire it all over the place while running down the hall screaming "Wii!" Reid just shakes his head.
Reid Flanagan - I need a Diet Pepsi...
Reid begins to walk in the same direction that Flap ran off in - carefully avoiding the Silly String as the Episode comes to an end.
