September 13th 2007 Night Before (Joe and Jay Scene)
Jay, what the hell are you doing!?!
Will you hold on a minute for crying out loud! I’m trying to get my signs made for the show tomorrow.
You idiot! We’ve already got signs made. Why do you want to make another one?
The signs we’ve got are signs that you made. They’re quite boring. You’ve got have some style to them.
What are you talking about? My signs are good enough.
Okay let me see one then.
~~Jay walked over to the table and picked up one of Joe’s signs. He held it up to Joe’s face and read out loud. ~~
Let’s go Cobra! What we have here are just three words written in a black sharpie.
Yea I guess you’re right. Maybe they are rather boring.
I told you so.
Shut up! Wait a minute that’s not the point! We’ve got to be out of here in a couple of minutes. I highly doubt Cobra is going to care what his signs look like. So quit playing and let’s go!
You know you’re a big jerk! I’m just trying to show some courage.
Jay if you call coloring on poster board courage, then you’re an even bigger idiot than you were made out to be.
Okay. Let’s go then if you’re in that big of a hurry.
~~Jay stopped making his signs and left them on the table. Joe got his car keys and they both headed out the door. Jay got in the passenger side whereas Joe was in the driver’s seat. He started the car and they drove off. ~~

September 13th 2007 The Meltdown (Cobra Scene)
I figured I buy some time before those two knuckle heads show up. I’m still feeling a little uneasy about this match. I know it’s too early to return but I didn’t want Joe to know that. My injury hasn’t really healed one hundred percent. It really hasn’t bothered me except for the throbbing the other morning. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I win the match.
I walked out of my bedroom to see if any of my opponents mentioned anything else about tomorrow’s match. The funny thing is I finally caught a glimpse of what Splinter had to say. His promo was too short but I caught just enough to know him a little bit.
So he thinks he’s going to out submission me. You see the funny thing is I only rely on my Clutch when I know I’ve got you beat. My reliabilities are the people who cheer me on. They feed me the energy I need to win the match. I am a high submission user but I’ve got plenty of tricks up my sleeve Splinter. Don’t underestimate my in ring ability my friend. You have felt the Snake Bite once before.
Now I noticed that your buddy has told you to use submission to try to get the victory. I’ve done submission matches before in the past; they’re not as easy as your friend has made it out to be. Good luck Splinter as you’re going to need it tomorrow night.
I was finished, at the moment, talking about Splinter. As I think though about how the ending of the match will turn up, I start getting this feeling. I don’t know what kind of feeling it is but I don’t think it’s good or bad. Maybe it’s just my mind playing tricks with me. I just want it all to stop before tomorrow so I can be focused. Not only is it my first match back in Power on Wrestling but it’s a triple threat match for the Television championship.
I was sitting on my couch at the moment. Soon after Splinter was finished talking I shifted my position over to the front window. I didn’t like the weather too much. It had been raining and storming for the past week or so. Sometimes it’ll be a small storm but then you’ll get hit with a big one. I looked out into the clouds and saw a vision. IT was a flash back to the date of my injury.
I tried shaking my head to get the vision out but it wasn’t working. All I saw was my head falling hard with my neck nearly snapping in half. I threw my hands over my forehead and felt the sweat coming off. I took my right hand, balled in a fist, and smashed a hole in the wall. I didn’t know what I was doing until all of sudden I heard the sound of glass shattering. I came out of the state of mind I was in to feel a trickle of blood on my face. Without realizing it, I had smashed my head through my window. I ran into my bathroom, turned the sink on, and immediately washed my face. I looked up into the mirror. I spoke softly to myself.
“You aren’t ready Ron. You’re time was long over. It’s getting to your brain now. This injury of yours has thrown you off your game. You just can’t hack it anymore.”
I felt nothing but tears rolling down my face as if I were a baby who lost his bottle. I knelt down on the bathroom floor with my hands over my face. That’s when I knew that the past has done me in. I can’t seem to get it out of my mind. It looks like it’s all over for me.

September 13th 2007 Driving to Cobra’s (Joe and Jay scene)
How do you think the big man is holding up?
Honestly, I couldn’t tell you. I still don’t know if he should be doing this Jay.
Okay, I’m going to be completely honest but I think it’s a bad idea as well.
Really, I thought this is what you wanted.
Yea but I’ve just been hiding the facts with hopes. I missed watching him in the ring. It’s pretty hard watching your favorite wrestler go down with an injury like that.
I know how you feel Jay. I can see why you kept thinking positive about all of this. I apologize for bringing you down man.
It’s alright. You know even though I take a lot of things, maybe everything, as a joke; I’ve just got to come to my senses and realize the truth.
~~They drove past a fast food place. Jay’s hunger was taking over but he was a little too depressed to eat anything at the moment. There was a stop light a few blocks ahead them. It had jus turned red which gave Jay the perfect time to ask. ~~
I’m sorry Joe, but my stomach is telling me it’s time to eat. There was a drive thru a few blocks back if you don’t mind making a u turn.
Yea sure, I could go for something to eat as well.
Cool.
~~The light turned green. Joe made the u turn and pulled up to the drive thru that was a couple blocks back. They ordered a couple of burgers with fries and drinks. Then Joe continued making his way to Cobra’s place. ~~
I guess we’re going to have to talk Cobra about how we feel about tomorrow night.
Maybe you’re right Joe. After all, I don’t want to watch his career come to a complete end in the triple threat. I guess we can talk him out of it.

September 13th 2007 A Little Help (Cobra, Jay, and Joe Scene)
“Why am I going through with this?”
I asked myself that question. It’s something I’ve been asking myself for about week now. There’s nothing that I need to prove. Heck these guys don’t even know who I am or what I’ve done in my career. No people I’m not bragging. I’m trying to find reasons as to why I’m going to put myself through this.
“Forget the past. Shake it off Ron and focus on your career. Plenty of superstars came back with injuries and over came the odds.”
Now I’m trying to encourage myself. I normally don’t talk to myself like this. It’s been happening recently.
“Stand up you fool! Wipe the tears out of your face. Be a man!”
I tell myself. I stood up, gave a look in the mirror, and with a rag I dried my face. I blew my nose until all the snot soaked the rag. I turned around and out of no where Jay and Joe were staring at me in shock.
Hey guys. I didn’t even hear the door open.
What happened!?! How come the window’s broken?
Guys I’ve been on and off about my return. The past is still haunting me. I had a little melt down earlier with the vision of the accident. So I threw my head into the window.
~~Jay looked on with concern. Joe turned his back and walked into the living room. It was just Jay and Cobra now. Jay had his hand on his chin while Cobra was standing there with a confused look on his face. ~~
What’s on your mind Jay?
I’ve joked and I’ve joked. Hell my whole life is a joke. I must take this one thing serious. I have to be honest with you. I don’t think it’s a good idea you don’t wrestle tomorrow.
To be honest with you, I’ve been thinking the same thing. Every time I try to focus on the match, the past comes back. It only comes to me when I think about tomorrow.
I don’t know what to tell you. I support whatever your decision is and I’m hoping for the best. I really am, but I just don’t think you should go through with it.
Thanks for caring Jay. What’s with Joe?
Joe feels the same but only more against you going back. He never left the hospital while you were in there. It was hard to watch what happened that night.
Let’s go talk to him. I have to get his honest opinion.
~~They walked out of the bathroom. Joe was sitting on the couch watching TV when they showed a review of Lestat’s promo. The funny thing is Cobra had paid no attention to it. He sat on the chair while Jay sat by his brother on the couch. ~~
Jay I heard you were against my whole return.
I just don’t want to see you hurt yourself. We’re like brothers and I’m just concerned.
I know but I must do this though. I keep arguing with myself about it. The past also comes back. This is something I must do to forget the past.
Why don’t you just ignore it?
I’ve tried that. The only way to stop it is by getting rid of it and the only way to get rid of it is by proving to you guys, the people, but most importantly to me that I can do it. You must understand.
Honestly, I understand. I’m just against it. I do support your decision though. So tomorrow is your time. Tomorrow night is your return and your first title match back.
Thanks guys. Now that I have your supports, I can worry about getting focused. Did you catch anything on Lestat?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
September 13th 2007 Unfocused Champion? (Cobra, Joe, and Jay Scene)
While you two were talking earlier; I managed to catch some of what he said. They showed a review on what he said two days ago.
Was there anything that’ll help me?
Well he is writing some sort of book. I don’t think he’s really focused on the match though which will throw him off of his game.
Ah-Ha he’s going to lose his title.
Shut up Jay! Don’t jinx it.
Come on guys. Stop the arguing for like five minutes.
Alright, anyway he talked about a tag team match you guys had in the past.
Hmm…I honestly don’t remember but that was the past though. I’ve got to get over the past.
There is one thing he said that would’ve caught your attention. He said he doesn’t underestimate you in any way. I guess he was showing some respect.
Well that’s good. At least he isn’t a cocky champion.
No, but he is a double champion.
~~Jay spoke up. ~~
What a way to kick off you return. You could knock off one half the tag team champions while taking his singles title. Now that’s cool.
No, that may not happen. I’m not going to underestimate any of those guys. Even though I said I was taking the title doesn’t necessarily mean I’m actually going to win the championship. Remember, I myself tend to be a little cocky at the start of my career.
Yea I know but still.
Jay, can’t you ever be serious?
Yea, yea I know, shut up right?
Finally, something you said that actually makes sense.
Anyways guys. Thanks for bringing my spirits up. I have a different out look on this match and my return. I’m going through with it and I am going to shock the world with my return.

September 13th 2007 Final Thoughts (Cobra Scene)
Well my friends showed me that there is no fear in returning to the ring. They’re behind me on this one. I don’t plan on letting them down. I’m going to fight until my final breath. I’m going to take my career to the next level. It’s time I get focused and in the ball game. I’m not showing disrespect but I’m sending out a warning. Yes the past may still be with me, but I’m going to over come it. I’m going to show the people, as well as the roster, that I am still kicking ass and taking names.
I ran through the GCW roster. I made a name for myself in NEW. Now it’s time to do both of those here in POW. I’m going to start small and work my way to top. It’s all about respect. If I play my cards right, I could find myself heading to the main event spot in the near future.
Splinter, I’m happy that you won last week and I apologize for the sneak attack again. You know as well as I know that you’ve got to do something to get what you want these days. I hope that you haven’t taken my attack personally. If you do then we shall settle it in the ring. If you think beating me at my own game is the way to go then you are wrong my friend. I’m not underestimating you but you will find yourself locked in one of the legendary holds, the Cobra Clutch.
Lestat, you are lucky Rite of Chaos isn’t defending the tag titles this week. As for your Television championship goes, I find it that you aren’t so lucky. I know being a double champion is hard. No I haven’t been double champion but I have been a champion before. It isn’t easy going through the challenges and obstacles. I’m sorry to say that tomorrow you won’t be leaving as the champ. If you escape tomorrow with the Television championship around your waist then I will show the respect you deserve my friend but make the slightest mistake and you will find yourself, just like Splinter, in the hands of the Clutch.
I’m only in this for one reason and one reason only. I’m doing it not to win championships but to win the hearts of the fans back. I also need to get rid of the past. I must prove to myself that I can be in the ring again. Tomorrow marks the return of “The People’s King” King Cobra…
Jay, what the hell are you doing!?!
Will you hold on a minute for crying out loud! I’m trying to get my signs made for the show tomorrow.
