September 16th 2007 Talking to Joe (Cobra and Joe Scene)
My alarm went off at 10:05 A.M. I knew I had to get out of bed because I had a speech to give at the recreational center. I rolled around a few times then finally sat up. I wiped the crust, eye boogers I like to call them, out of my eyes. I stood up straight and gave a nice long stretch while yawning. I went into the kitchen to get a glass of orange juice. After I finished my juice I walked over to the front door and opened it. Then I saw as Joe was just pulling up without Jay. He got out of his car and walked over to me.
Hey man. Where’s Jay at?
Oh I told him he had to help with the recreation today. It was something to get him over there without telling him about your appearance.
Well that all works out.
I waved my hand for him to come in. After he got in he sat at the table and looked at my Television title. I knew something was on his mind as I stared at him with concern.
Yo, something wrong Joe? You don’t look so good.
It’s this unification championship match.
Oh don’t worry about it. I’m looking forward to it. Flap will be my toughest challenge today.
I know, have you watched any of his promos lately?
I just saw his first one yesterday. He’s looking for his missing sister.
Yea well I don’t mean to sound like a dick or anything, but he’s been airing more promos. You’ve got to see them.
I walked over to my computer and turned it on. I went to the home page of Power on Wrestling to try and find reviews for aired promos. There was a video link I clicked on which brought me up to Flap Flanagan’s promo. I watched it with all of my attention.
Well Joe I am not going to worry about this one at all.
Why is that?
What do you mean? Didn’t you watch them?
No, that’s why I asked if you watched any of them.
Oh. Well in this one he is just beginning his search for his sister. I feel bad for the guy. This is a big match coming up and he’s got to run around town, or even the country for that matter, to find his family.
I know. It must be hard looking for a missing sister and worrying about a match.
Honestly Joe, I don’t think you do. You’ve never lost any family or had to have try and find them. As a child I was a running around the streets of New York looking for the only family I had left which was Daye. So I know how it feels looking for a missing family member whom you haven’t spoken to in a long time.
You’re right. The feeling must be terrible though.
Well I said it once and I’ll say it again. Good luck Flanagan.
Alright King, we’ve got to get going.
Yea I’ll watch the rest of his promos later. I’m more concerned for him finding his sister though.
~~Cobra and Joe gathered a few things around the house. They walked out of the house. After getting in Joe’s car they backed out of the driveway to head toward the recreation center. They were both very excited about seeing the looks on the kids’, and Jay’s, faces when Cobra walks through those doors. They pulled up to the recreational center about twenty minutes later. They were a little early but all was well. ~~

September 16th 2007 Before the Speech (Cobra, Joe, and Jay Scene)
I stepped out of the car and onto the pavement. It was a nice day out today which couldn’t get any better. I draped my belt over my shoulder then looked at Joe who was carrying some photos of me with a sharpie. I looked rather pleased then shook my head.
I take it I’m signing autographs as well?
Would you mind? I could put these in the car if you want.
No it’s cool. I’ve got nothing much to do today anyway. I don’t mind hanging out for a while.
Alright cool.
Listen Joe, I’m not doing this to gain popularity though. This is for the kids.
I know that. I wouldn’t put you in any situation like that. I know how you run with your business. I’m very well respected upon that.
Okay then let’s get started.
As we were walking into the recreational center I started getting lost in my train of thoughts. As much as I tried ignoring them I couldn’t help but listen to myself thinking.
“In a few days you make your official pay per view come back. Things are looking good as Flap isn’t focused at all. He spent an entire promo looking for his sister which I don’t want to misjudge him though.”
Shut up, I tell myself. It’s not about the match today but about the children and the fans that are waiting on my presence. We made it to the door and I ran my hands through my hair. As I burst the doors open, more than about fifty kids turned their heads. There were probably a dozen teenagers, they were assigned to different groups of children, and there were the parents who were there watching their little ones. Of course there was Jay who looked just as happy as the little ones. He rushed over to us.
COBRA!! What a surprise! Why didn’t my brother tell me about this huh?
Well for one you idiot it’s a surprise and two I knew you’d open your big mouth and ruin it all for the kids.
Shut up Joe, I wouldn’t have said anything.
Calm down guys. Let’s get this thing started with huh. I’m looking forward in having a great time.
The kids were amazingly quiet. The owner of the recreation walked over to me. We exchanged hand shakes as I put my bags and title on a near by table.
Thank you so much sir for taking the time out to see the kids. I know you must have a busy schedule. I wasn’t too sure if it was okay by you to come.
Oh don’t worry sir.
Umm…Henry; you can call me Henry.
Ahh, well don’t worry Henry. My opponent is out in search for his sister. So I’m not going to cut on him. It’s something I must respect so I don’t want to add any stress by cutting promos you know.
Oh that must be hard on the guy. Joe did tell me how you are with respect.
If you give respect you get respect. Now where will I be giving the speech?
Oh right, we have a stage set up outside with a podium.
The weather is nice so I wouldn’t mind giving it outside.
I picked up my title as we headed for the outside. The kids were still sitting there watching. I drew closer and the little ones couldn’t hold it in much longer as a burst of cheers echoed in the small gymnasium. I patted a few kids on the head while slapping hands with others. They fallowed one by one to the outside. There was in fact a small stage with a podium. Across on the field were chairs set up for the kids and adults in attendance. Almost in five minutes all the chairs were filled with people. I stepped on stage and cleared my throat.
September 16th 2007 My Speech (Cobra Scene)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I honestly didn’t know where to start off at. The day is young still so I didn’t want to rush this. I just started with a small greeting.
Hello everyone! How is everyone doing today?
There was another burst of cheers coming from the group of fans. Most of them clapped as others threw their arms in the air. It was almost as if I were in the ring which cheered me up even more. It got calm after a few short minutes as I began my speech.
Now as you all know I was put on the shelves indefinitely. I didn’t think I was going to make it back in the squared circle but with the help of a few friends of mine. I made my comeback last night. I battled a hard fought battle with Splinter and then Television champion Lestat. They are both incredible talent and gave me one heck of a fight. I learned something last night and that was that no matter what the extent of the injury is there is no injury that will keep you from achieving your dreams.
The people began clapping and cheering again. Just standing there listening to the fans made me speechless. I honestly did not know what to say after that. It was just an honor being amongst a large group of fans.
Today marks the first day of a new career. With the help you all of you and more watching from home, I will climb the ladder of success and become something I’ve been craving to be since day one. You all will help me become World Champion one day. There are obstacles along the way. One man stands in front of me and that man is Flap Flanagan.
More cheers echoed the court yard. I was happy that they appreciated Flap as well as me. It’ll be interesting to see who exactly the fans stand up for when it comes to time to unify the belts. I wanted to end the speech because I didn’t want to bore or possibly sound stupid by not having anything to say.
In just a few days I will be defending this belt against a great competitor. For as long as I’ve known him which is only a couple of days, I’ve learned that he’s been on an impressive streak. He’s also searching for his sister instead of worrying about our match. I’m not going to take anything from him but I know that he’s doing the honorable thing. He’s got my respect as well as the respect of all of you. I’m hoping all of you have a great time when Flap Flanagan and King Cobra step into the squared circle to unify the Northwest Television championship and the Northeast Open Weight championship.
After a burst of cheers I ended the speech and stepped off the mini stage. I walked through the crowd to give a few hand shakes. It was time for the autograph sessions. After about ten minutes or so everyone was back inside.

September 16th 2007 Expect the Unexpected (Cobra Scene)
Now it was time to sign autographs which was the part I was waiting for the whole day. It’s interesting to see kids from around the neighborhood walking up asking you to sign a picture of a magazine. It’s also a great way to get to know the community, well at least for me it is. I sat at the table where I placed my bag and title. The line immediately shot across the gym. I knew it was going to be a long day.
About twenty minutes went by the line just about half way gone. I admit I was getting a little tired but wasn’t going to let these kids down. I managed to make it through the rest of the session. After all was said and done, the children came up to me for a group photo. They all thanked me with cheers followed by an ovation. I then made my way out the door. Joe and Jay both stayed behind to help organize the place. I decided I was going to walk home. I headed out the door and down the block.
It was an interesting little walk. I looked around as I always did. I saw some interesting people in a few places but none of them noticed who I was. It didn’t bother me but overwhelmed in a way. As I turned the corner I accidentally bumped in a women walking past. Little did I know that that person was someone from the past. That’s when I realized that you’ve got expect the unexpected even if you’ve forgotten them.

September 16th 2007 Blast from the Past (Cobra and Cat Scene)
I’m sorry for walking into yo…
As I looked into her face I cut my sentence right in the middle. My day was probably ruined as I wasn’t hoping to run into my ex. She’s put me through a lot of hell after leaving me for some other guy. She wasn’t too pleased to see me as well.
What are you staring at?
Listen it was an accident okay. Just move out of the way and let me by.
I’m sorry what did you say? Move out of the way did you say? The last time I checked you were in my way.
I knew what she was doing and it was working. I was starting to get angry. I would never strike her though. As much as she has done to me I still have the respect of her as a woman but that’s it. I’ve lost all other respect for her. I didn’t care if I was an asshole at this point because she’s been nothing but heartache, pain, and suffering.
Listen here! I’ve more important things to take care of. I had a really enjoyable day. I don’t need you or anyone else at that matter to ruin my day.
Well I can see you are still doing that stupid wrestling crap. Why don’t you just give it up?
What’s it matter to you? All you cared about was your own petty needs. When you didn’t get what you want from me, you went porking with another guy. I did nothing but treated you with respect.
I had other needs that you couldn’t attend to because of your wrestling bullshit!
I had enough with her. I picked her up, got kicked in the process, to move her out of my way. I continued walking with a faster pace. I didn’t look back but I felt the tear drop from my eye. I never knew if she was standing there looking back at me or is she gave me the bird and walked off. I don’t think I’ll ever know either.
I made it back to my place. I was exhausted with the speech and autographs that I felt like just passing out. There was something I had to do first though. I had to watch more of Flap Flanagan’s promos. So I walked over to my computer then went to the link I saved in my favorites. Flap Flanagan’s third promo began playing. I watch in close attention.

September 16th 2007 False Accusations (Cobra Scene)
The first thing that came to my mind after watching the video review was nothing but shock. I noticed that I was being set up by some sort of Mexican boss. I stood up from the computer monitor into the bedroom to place my title on the mantle. I walked back out and shut stood there in complete shock. I started talking to myself wondering how this could be.
“Don’t listen to them Ron. It’s just a trick to get you to feel like the bad guy. Flap wouldn’t do this to me though. I respected the man. I told I wanted to congratulate him first hand after his own match.”
I went over to the table. I needed to sit for a minute. Not only was I exhausted but I was worried that my reputation my as well be ruined by these lies. Even more badly I am worried that Flap believes these false accusations that were pitted against me. I told Flap myself that I plan on fighting a competitive champion. I want him on the ball and focused when that bell rings.
I’m going to be honest though when I say this. I’m not telling you I did it and I’m not telling you I didn’t do it. That is for you Flap Flanagan to find out. I know that if I say the wrong thing then the whole guilty conscience speech will be thrown my way. By know you should know a little about my style Flap so I’m leaving the judging up to you. If you think I have something to do with your sister going missing then by all means you’ve got the right. Until then my friend good luck.
I stood up to walk to my room. I figured I could go for a little nap due to this situation. My day was going great until I had the run in with the next, not to mention this crap that someone is attempting to set me up with. I just thought that by sleeping my mind will be cleared of all this commotion.
My alarm went off at 10:05 A.M. I knew I had to get out of bed because I had a speech to give at the recreational center. I rolled around a few times then finally sat up.
