September 17th 2007 Early Start (Cobra Scene)
I rolled out of bed early in the morning. I laid down a little too early last night which was fine. The only thing that was on my mind right now is the fact that Flap Flanagan may or may not think I had something to do with his sister’s disappearance.
I stood up to make my way to the bathroom. My breath didn’t smell well so I brushed my teeth. Again Jay and Joe weren’t here to bug me in the morning. I guess since they knew I was back in the business that they didn’t have to come and wake me almost every morning. It was quite relaxing though.
I went to my PC to watch the review of the same promo from yesterday. I thought for a minute to try and find where I would have any connections with a Mexican. I’m not a racist but I don’t know anybody who is of Mexican decent. Why would I be put on the spot like that though? I hope it has nothing to do with my becoming the new champion.
That’s when it hit me. I thought to myself that maybe Lestat wasn’t thrilled with my victory so he is trying to set me up. Maybe he kidnapped Flap’s sister but planted the note under my name. I didn’t want to make a clear decision due to Lestat having a great motive as to not pull this childish act. He’s got three other tag teams to face for his defending tag title strap.
I stood up from the chair to start pacing back and forth with thoughts clouding over me as if it were a rain cloud. You ever see it where there was just one tiny cloud gushing rain on one man as he looked around it was all sunny and bright. Well it was like that to me but instead of rain I was getting thoughts.
I still didn’t have a reason to do it though. I don’t want this to affect our match though. I need Flap to be focused while at the same time I need not to worry about these accusations. I remembered something from back in the day though. I had a huge fan back in GCW by the name of Santiago Alfonzo Nunez. I’m not sure if he was Mexican or Latino. He was sort of creepy though.
God I had only hoped that there was evidence that doesn’t link me to be the bad guy. The last thing I need right out is for a kidnapping report to end with my name in it. I would help you find her but honestly I do not want to lose focus on our big match. I hope that I do not sound insecure but I must do this. By defeating Flap and unifying both championship belts, I would climb one more step on the ladder. I apologize Flap if I sound like a dick about all of this. I mean no disrespect.

September 17th 2007 The Brother (Cobra and Daye Scene)
I was still trying to find out who could set me up. I’ve made my return in Power on Wrestling and already someone has tried to frame me. Above all of that it is right before my biggest match thus far in my career. I wanted to try to get away from all of the stress. I walked into the kitchen to take a can of Coca-Cola out my refrigerator. I then proceeded to open my front door to enjoy the breeze.
“There is so much on my mind right now. I don’t know if I want to ignore it all or not. Ignoring it will only add on the stress factor. I can’t fight my biggest fight with a load of stress on my mind. It’s very difficult to concentrate. Well at least it’s a nice day toda….”
Before I could finish my sentence a strange feeling came over me. When the word day popped into my head there was only one name that triggered in my brain. It was indeed my brother Daye. It hit me from out of no where.
“Shit what if my brother Daye is responsible for setting me up. I never did see eye to eye with him even when we were on the same team for awhile. I’ve got to try and find him.”
I rushed inside the house to grab my cell phone. After finding it I searched through my address bar to find my brother’s number. To my surprise it was still registered in my phone. I hesitated to call him but I managed to hit the talk button.
*RING, RING*
There were two rings but no answer. I haven’t spoken to my brother in a little while. We ran into each other last week but it wasn’t much of anything though.
*RING, RING, RING*
Three more rings went by with no answer. I wondered if he was just trying to ignore my calls. Before I hung up the phone, I heard my brother’s voice on the other line. He answered just as it was in the middle of the sixth ring.
Cobra what the hell do you want? I was in the middle of sleeping you bitch!
Did you do it asshole?
Do what?
Did you kidnap Flap’s sister or have any involvement in it.
No, why the f**k would I have beef with him?
It’s funny because someone left a note telling him not to wrestle or he can say good bye to his sister. My name ended up being the signature at the bottom of the page.
Well did you do it?
No you jackass! I was set up and I think you had something to do with it.
Listen brother. I’ve got too much shit to worry about. Night and I have the biggest tag match of our careers. Why would I waste my time trying to ruin your title match?
It’s simple. One, you’re an asshole. Two, I’ve become more successful than you and Night since splitting from the stable. The list can go on but I don’t have the time or the patience to argue with you. My only intentions on making this phone call were to see if you tried setting me up.
Calm down little brother. Pull your head out of your ass. When are you going to come to the realization that people in this business tend to screw with your mind. How do you not know that Flap has planned all of this from the beginning?
Why would he want to do that?
Maybe he is afraid of losing his Open Weight championship. So he’s trying to set up this whole scheme so you’d fall into it because of your whole respecting bullshit.
I don’t know Daye.
Well as much as I would have loved to ruin your match I didn’t do it. As a matter of fact, I’d like to see you get a win here and there.
I guess I can say thank you for the support. You’ve got a tag team match. You know that right?
Why you bringing my match up?
It was rumored that you and Night wouldn’t make it to the show.
Well those rumors can blow themselves. Night and I are waiting for the right time. Other people don’t need to worry about our whereabouts.
Alright brother; so you had nothing to do with any of this right?
For once in my life I’m being honest with you…bitch.
I might actually believe you. It’s very rare that you’re honest. I’m just trying to watch out for my best interest. I need to be focused as well but it’s kind of hard when you’re being blamed for kidnapping someone.
Well I need to go man. I’ve got shit to do with Night today. If I hear your name I’ll give you a buzz. Don’t take this as us getting along now, I just don’t want you to get screwed out of something you’ve worked so hard to achieve.
Alright bro, I’ll talk to you later man. Thanks for helping.
Yup…peace bitch!
I hung up my phone. I was a little concerned. I wasn’t sure Daye was telling the truth or not but I believed him in a way. He brought up some good points. I wonder when this is all said and done though if Flap will ever find his sister. I’m also curious if Night and Daye are going to win their tag team title match.

September 17th 2007 A Sigh of Relief (Cobra Scene)
With all of the accusations directed toward me I had to try and see what Flap thought about all of this. If I had his contact information, I’d give him a call. So I did the next best thing. I remembered there were reviews for his other promos I didn’t catch before I went to the recreation center yesterday.
I walked over to my computer to check things out. I clicked on my favorites then the link that was saved to the site I needed. That is where I watched my opponent’s promo entitled ‘Show Respect’.
Finally, my name was out in the clear. Flap came to the decision that I had nothing to do with his sister’s disappearance. I’m relieved but still worried for the man. He’s still in search for his sister whom I know must be affecting his focus for out match. I wanted to help in some way but I didn’t want everyone to think that it’s just part of some plan I concocted. So I stayed away from it. I stuck to my own ball game.
“As I watched on, I noticed that Flap is showing a great deal of respect toward me. That doesn’t happen too much as I never get this kind of treatment from my opponents. He has earned a certain level of my respect. I’ll say that he’ll get my highest level when we go out there and give the people what they want to see. You know with all of this going on I almost forgot about my neck injury. It was still bothering me in a way. I kept ignoring it though.”
I closed out of the window and stood up. I walked over to grab my Television championship. It’s not the biggest prize in the sport but I treat it as one. That’s how I was with all my title reigns. I wanted to be the best champion there was no matter what level of success the title is. I knew I could never make it to the biggest prize so whenever I won a little prize, I treated it as the biggest prize. Confusing, I know but I take pride in all of my title runs. I try to make the best of them whenever I can.
I draped my title over the right shoulder. I went by the window stare outside. There wasn’t a sign of bad weather so I stepped back outside onto the front porch. I must say now that my name is cleared from all these accusations, that I am relieved. I guess you can say I’ve got a little sigh of relief. I sat down on the stump outside my door. I looked into the warm air to calm down from these events.

September 17th 2007 Four More Days (Cobra, Joe, and Jay Scene)
While sitting outside, I heard my name from across the yard. I was a little zoned out due to the nice weather but I snapped out of it. I looked ahead then saw that Joe and Jay had finally decided to come over.
Hey guys!
What’s up?
Have you heard any good news today?
I did indeed. I’m not sure if you guys heard that someone tried setting me up.
What do you mean?
Well Joe, Flap’s sister disappeared. He checked her apartment out and saw a note that was supposedly signed by me threatening to put his sister in harms way.
That sucks.
I know Jay but it gets better.
How can it get any better than that? If you ask me I’d say that it sounds horrible.
Well I watched another promo. He came to the decision that I wasn’t the culprit of the act which gave me a lot of relief.
YAY!!
Shut up Jay! This is serious you assclown.
Those two are always at each other’s heads. I’ll never understand how they manage to live with each other. I stood up with my title still around my shoulder. We stayed outside for a little bit longer discussing everything. Joe spoke as I listened on.
So I guess everything is okay.
To be honest, I don’t think anything is okay. Someone is screwing around with Flap’s head and trying to pit me to blame. Whoever that person is defiantly wants the people to choose out of the both of us. I just wish there was something I can do to help him. I don’t want to take advantage of the situation because if he somehow manages to win then his sister is in deep trouble.
You know Jay and I can do some investigation work on it. We can go out and see if there is anyone from your past trying to come back and ruin your chances by turning a respectful opponent against you.
That’s not a half bad idea Joe. Would you guys do that for me?
Sure thing man, it’s no problem. Let us get going now and we’ll get started right away.
Cool, I’ll see you guys tomorrow.
Joe and Jay turned around and left. I walked back inside with my Television championship. I was still concerned but not as concerned as I once was. I’m glad Flap doesn’t think I had anything to do with all of this mess.
There is only four more days until the biggest match to date. I’ve got to try and get a little more focused myself. I can’t worry about other people’s problems and I mean that in the nicest ways possible. I’m sure Flap doesn’t need my help nor does he want it. Flap I want to thank you personally for clearing my name yourself. I wanted to thank you for all of the respect you’ve shown me thus far. When you and I step into the ring in four days the people are going to get one hell of a match.
I rolled out of bed early in the morning. I laid down a little too early last night which was fine. The only thing that was on my mind right now is the fact that Flap Flanagan may or may not think I had something to do with his sister’s disappearance.
