Night time... Times Square... The DragonZord stands motionless with various News helicopter shining spotlights down on the robot. The Green Ranger stands upon his head... Behind him is Jayde Nightwood... crucified to the antler... The Green Ranger continues to yell for Reck Maverick to come out and face him.
Green Ranger - COME ON MAVERICK! FACE YOUR DESTINY!

City At War - Part V - End Game...
The Green Ranger spins around and sees Reck Maverick standing before him - his trademark red bandana blowing in the breeze. Reck Maverick turns his head toward Jayde.
Reck Maverick - Are you okay?
Jayde slowly raises her head, making eye contact with a Reck. A small smile materializes on her face and she weakly nods. Reck's eyes slowly trace back to The Green Ranger
Green Ranger - I'm surprised you actually had the guts to show up tonight Maverick... Are you THAT eager to die?
Reck Maverick - I'm not going to die on this night... and how dare you talk to me about guts... She is innocent - if you had an issue with me... That's fine... I'm used to it but who you to involve her in something that did not concern her... That is true cowardice.
Green Ranger - You should talk about such a thing... after what you did to my family!
Reck Maverick tilts his head ever-so-slightly.
Reck Maverick - What the Hell are you talking about... WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!
The Green Ranger does not respond but instead just draws his Sword of Darkness...
Reck Maverick - So be it...
Reck follows suit and grips the handle of his Blade of Legend and draws it from it's sheath... Both men standing facing each other... suddenly it starts to rain and they both ready their blades.
Reck Maverick - I'll give you one last chance to stop all this... lay down you sword and a walk away.
Green Ranger - ... Not until you are dead.
Without another word the two warriors charge at each other clashing swords 125 feet above the street. They lock swords and lean in so that they are face to face. The Green Ranger attempts to kick Reck in the stomach but Reck won't fall for that trick again. He swings a free hand down and hooks the Ranger under the knee and trips the other leg sending the Green Ranger to the steel "floor" and Reck swings his Blade of Legend over head but the Ranger moves before it hits the ground. The Ranger tries a foot sweep that Reck avoids with a cartwheel and counters with a knee to the Rangers stomachs sending him stumbling backward.
Reck reaches into in belt and flings a couple of shurikens at Green Ranger who quickly grabs his Zyusouken and deflects them. Apparently this is something that Reck expected as the angle of the deflected Shurikens cut the ropes holding Jayde up and she falls to her hands and knees. The Green Ranger quickly glances over and right back to Reck.
Green Ranger - Damn it...
The Green Ranger charges at Reck with both blade now... Swinging wildly but Reck manages to avoid the Ranger's attacks. Reck then swings his Blade at the Sword of Darkness knocking the Ranger off balance a little and Reck grabs a hold of the Zyusouken. A Tug of war starts between the two over control of that Dragon Dagger. Reck pulls it toward him and releases it when the Green Fiend pulls back again causing to lose the balance and this time he trips over his own feet and falls to the ground. Reck violently swings his sword down but the Green Ranger tosses his Dagger to the side so that he could can place the blade of his Sword of Darkness to block Reck's incoming attack. The Ranger plants his foot into Reck's stomach and flips him over head.
The Green Ranger gets to his feet as does Maverick. The Green Ranger quickly delivers a couple punches to the ribs, a knee to the chin and a vicious tornado kick that knocks Reck back down to the ground and the Blade of Legend flying from his hand. No doubt a smile brews under the helmet of the Green Ranger as he cockily walks up to Reck Maverick's prone body.
Green Ranger - Do you see Maverick... I told you once before you could not defeat me... and NOW you will pay the ultimate price...
The Green Ranger drives his Sword down toward Maverick who rolls out of the way and the Blade just stuck in the "roof" of the DragonZord... The Green Ranger struggles to pull the sword out but Reck springs to his feet charges toward the Green Ranger - he leaps onto the sword and uses it as a springboard to deliver a dropkick to the chest of the Green Ranger who sails through the air and crashes to the ground. Reck walks over to the Green Ranger and grabs him by the "shirt" part of the uniform.
Reck Maverick - IT'S OVER! Do you understand me... I have won...
Green Ranger - It's not over yet Maverick... It'll never be... OVER!
The Green Ranger manages to place both feet against Reck's chest to throw Reck off. The Green Ranger quickly gets to his feet and runs back in Sword of Darkness and pulls it out of the steel. Reck kips back to his feet and the Green Ranger immediately swings the blade rapidly at Reck. Maverick avoids several swings but one last swing catches Reck is chest... Reck lets out a roar of pain as he flies back and crashes to the ground. He reaches up and feels the cut that the blade left on his chest. Suddenly the Ranger's foot crashes down on Reck - pinning his hand to his chest. The Green Ranger points the tip of his Sword at Reck's throat and unleashes a evil laugh of triumph.
Green Ranger - Now... It's over...
No...
The Green Ranger spins around and sees Jayde - hardly able to stand and breathing heavy clutching the Blade of Legend in her hands.
Green Ranger - ...bitch...
The Green Ranger walks over to Jayde... She struggles to lift the Sword... The Green Ranger quickly boots her in the chest and grabs her by the throat. She quickly falls to his grip and she drops the sword. Reck slowly sits up and sees the Green Ranger holding Jayde... a new level of Rage enters his system... He produces both his and Jayde's Bucklers... wearing them both as Brass knuckles type deals and Red and Pink electricity flows throughout his body. He kips up.
Reck Maverick - LET... HER... GO!
The Green Ranger releases his grip and Jayde drops to the ground... The Ranger turns around is immediately caught with a flurry of punches from Maverick the hits all over the body of the Green Ranger... The electricity from the Bucklers burn at the Green Rangers body. Reck unleashes a kick to the chest and a double-fisted uppercut that explodes in Red and Pink bolts of energy as the Ranger flips in the air and crashes to the ground. Reck walks toward the fallen Ranger - picking up the Blade of Legend as he goes... He stands over the fallen body of the Green Ranger.
Green Ranger - ...no...
Reck Maverick - NO!? After all you DONE... you expect MERCY! PREPARE TO DIE!
Jayde - Reid... no...
Reck looks over at Jayde who is struggling to stand.
Jayde - Don't... Kill him... Don't... Become him...
Reck looks down at the Green Ranger who is breathing very heavily. Reck re-sheaths his sword.
Reck Maverick - You better thank God that she has mercy for you.
Reck turns his back on the Ranger and walks over to Jayde... she smiles but nearly collapses - Reck catches her in his arms.
Reck Maverick - Thank God you're alive... I didn't know what I'd ever do without you... Jayde... I love you...
Jayde smiles more... She reaches up and pulls down his mask
Jayde - I never doubted for a moment that you would come for me... I Love you too Reid...
Jayde leans in and the couple kiss... but it lasts very briefly.
Green Ranger - No... you will NEVER live "Happily Ever After..." NOT AS LONG AS I DRAW BREATH! DIE!!!
The Green Ranger grabs his Blade and charges the couple. Reck pulls Jayde in throws himself back-wards and trips up the Green Ranger... he flies over top of them... and over the edge of the Zord! Reck quickly gets to his feet and helps Jayde up... They walk over to the edge and peer over.
Jayde - I... Don't see him.
Reck Maverick - He'll be back... We haven't seen the last of the Green Ranger... I'm glad your okay - well, as okay as present circumstances allow.
Jayde - I'll be fine... but look at you... How are you going to win that World Championship in your condition.
Reck looks at her and laughs a little.
Reck Maverick - After ALL this... Winning a wrestling match will be a cake walk...
Jayde laughs a little herself... they then stare deep into each others eyes kiss again...
The War ends for now... but before long it will begin again... but when the shadows of Evil flicker upon the light of justice... Heroes will come and vanquish the evil... Forever More...
