We come into a well furnished hotel room where we find a women with semi-short brown hair sitting on a bed going over some papers and a man dressed in denim shorts and a black t-shirt and his long hair tied back is staring out the window. The women looks up the man and frowns a little.
Reiko - Reid... You need to calm down.
The man... Reid Flanagan slams his against the window - shaking it.
Reid Flanagan - Reiko... Why am I here... in New York... He HAS Jayde and they are in Kansas City.
Reiko - Reid... We went over every inch of the city... We couldn't find her at anywhere... They are gone.
Spins around angrily.
Reid Flanagan - No! I won't... CAN'T except that! They are there somewhere... and I WILL find them and when I do... The Green Ranger is going to feel a whole NEW level of pain.
Reiko - Reid... you need to just concentrate on this big triple threat match - I mean you have a shot at the WORLD Heavyweight Championship!
Reid Flanagan - You don't get it... It's MY fault she got captured... It was because of MY EGO that she's gone... I should have listened to her and transformed but no... I had to try and take him on by myself. If any thing happens to her because of my arrogance I'll never be able to forgive myself.
Reiko justs the papers down on the nearby end table and gets off the bed. She walks over to Reid and places a hand on his shoulder.
Reiko - I might not be able to get it all, but I get enough of it... I've never seen this Green Ranger but from what you and Jayde said... He finds you... not the other way around. I know you blame yourself but there is absolutely nothing you can do at this point but wait.
Reid curses out loud and turns his attention back to the wind... looking for something... ANYTHING that could point him in the direction of his missing partner. His attention slowly shifts over to a gold plated belt sitting on top of the TV and the winds of rage fill his head...
Reid Flanagan - That belt...
Reiko had returned to the bed at this point and began to go over the contracts again... His words made her look up and over toward the belt.
Reid Flanagan - That damn belt has caused my NOTHING but trouble since I won the damn thing! Instead of being back at in the lair trying to find Jayde... I have to come to a DIFFERENT TIME ZONE to defend that God-Damn thing!
Reiko - Reid... you can't seriously blame this on an inanimate object.
Reid lowers his head a little... trying to calm down.
Reid Flanagan - You're... right - I'm sorry Reiko... You know how much she means to me... Look I got to go... get some air.
Reid begins to exit.
Reiko - Reid... I can't let you do that.
Reid stops in his tracks and turns his head toward Reiko.
Reid Flanagan - Excuse me?
Reiko closes her eyes and takes a deep breath... trying to word her next sentence in such a way that Reid won't absolutely won't flip out.
Reiko - Look Reid... you remember what happened the other day when you fought Night...
Reid closes his eyes and nods his head slowly... He recalls the events... He nearly crossed the ultimate line that night...
Reiko - Now do you really think I would let you loose on New York in the mood your in... it would be genocide!
Reck takes a deep breath and takes his hand off the doorknob and sits down on the foot of the bed.
Reid Flanagan - You're right... Thanks...
Suddenly there is a knock at the door and both the occupants turn their attention to the door.
Reiko - Come in.
The door opens and in walks Flap Flanagan... The older half-brother of Reid.
Flap Flanagan - What's up brother Reider!
Reid Flanagan - Not too much man... what's up?
Flap Flanagan - Well I just came from talking with Joshy and...
Reiko's eyes widen... She's been trying to keep Reid calm but Flap just said the magic word that sets him off.
Reiko - Flap! NO!!
Reid's head snaps toward his brother.
Reid Flanagan - And what? Let me guess the self-deluded ego-centric son of a bitch ramble on about how he a damn legend and he's the best thing ever and that me or John aren't in his league... Yada, yada, yada.
Flap Flanagan - Reid... dude, you got to drop this! He has changed man.
Reid Flanagan - That's bullshit and you know it! He is once again using you...
Flap Flanagan - Hey... Are you trying to say that I am... How you say, easily manipulated... cause I am not Reid! I am not buying into your vendetta garbage... Josh is my friend and I will not choose between you two! If your to caught up in your own little world to see the Josh has changed then I... Pity... You!
Reid gets up in his brother's face with his teeth gritted.
Reid Flanagan - People don't change...
Flap Flanagan - and you... are a hypocrite!
Reid looks away for a second.
Reid Flanagan - ARGH! I am OUTTA HERE!
Reid storms out of the room and slams the door on the way out... shaking the furniture. Reiko looks up at Flap.
Reiko - Way to go Flap... You just unleashed Hell upon New York!
Flap Flanagan - This isn't my fault Rei, Reid was looking for a fight... nothing could stop him for leaving.
Reiko - Yeah... you're right... I just hope he'll be okay.
Flap Flanagan - He'll be fine... it's the criminal underworld I'm worried about...
