The scene opens up to a dark narrow road. Still wet with the recent rain, the moon glitters off of the wet concrete. The road curves like a snake in the forest. The trees loom over the wet road as to watch anyone who passes by. Little droplets of water can be seen falling from the branches with the shimmer from the moonlight above. The moon peeks through from cloud openings as if it were following someone making sure they were not found. A bright glow from around the corner lights up the road. Rounding that very corner the signature car of Mr. Showtime, a BMW Z4 roadster, appears. Mr. Showtime sits behind the wheel as he has so many times before. He wears his normal all black attire but with a surprising change he wears a white trench coat. Looking worse for wear, you can see that when it comes to sleep he has gotten little. Mr. Showtime reaches over and turns down the music because he has Shade sitting next to him in the car. Shade looks over to Mr. Showtime.
Shade: You should let me drive, you look really exhausted.
Mr. Showtime: Don’t worry about me. I have someone to visit. Night or day, Rain or shine, I will be there. This person I need to talk too, especially after having talked to him.
Shade: Your father?
Mr. Showtime: He is no father. Look, we might be related in blood but that’s as far as it runs. I wouldn’t save him if he needed to be. He’s been the thorn in my side all my life, and when finally I think he is out of my life for good he goes and pulls a stunt like this, interjecting himself back into it once more.
Shade: But you were staying there of your own free will.
Mr. Showtime: I’m not the same person, I knew what I was getting myself into this time around. I did it to understand the evils of my past better.
Shade: Evils of your past?
Mr. Showtime: Everyone has “evils of the past”. Mine dealt more with my father. I’m not afraid anymore, I’ve gotten over my fears, and I’ll not be stopped by them anymore, not even from this tag team I’m facing. Who were they again?
Shade: Omega Storm and Lucha Wecha.
Mr. Showtime: Yes, I remember now. Omega teamed up with Reck and lost against Josh Eagles and Lucha Wecha. Don’t look to impressive anymore, but they’ve both lost. Now they’re going to lose again when Lestat and I beat them in the center of the ring.
Shade: Personal feelings of Lestat going to come out?
Mr. Showtime: Shouldn’t but never know. He’s actually been quite good. I can’t say he has been doing bad work, Though he did team up with Big Ci last week. You know I am not too fond of Big Ci. Oh well they seem really good to watch. It’s like a car wreck. You know you’re not suppose to look but you do it anyway.
Shade: (Laughs) Really now.
Mr. Showtime: I have lived through a lot more then they have and they will feel the wrath of Mr. Showtime. They will feel my foot in there face or maybe like Sycho, the twisting and snapping of their ankle as they tap out in pain of it. (Laughs) I’m stronger now. No one will take me down from now on, not even that man who is my father.
Mr. Showtime says to Shade as he keeps his eyes out on the road. Suddenly something catches his attention as he moves forward to see what is in the road up ahead. He notices a young boy standing there in the road. As the lights move toward the boy, you can tell he’s beaten and battered. Mr. Showtime suddenly realizes he is going to hit this boy. He veers the car to the left in a hurry. Shade tightens up as the car runs through the boy but only for the boy to turn into the mist around. Mr. Showtime struggles with the car to gain control. The car goes flying over the edge of a hill and flips twice before smacking into a tree.
Moments later Mr. Showtime opens his eyes and notices the car is on its side only being held up by the tree that didn’t budge to far. Mr. Showtime unbuckles and crawls through the shattered windshield. He is slow to get to his feet as suddenly he looks to the road above. He rushes up to the road and looks around for any trace of the kid, but comes up empty handed. Mr. Showtime can only shake his head and wonder what he saw. Suddenly, he remembers Shade was in the car with him. He runs over the hill back to the car.
Mr. Showtime: Shit!
As Mr. Showtime reaches the car he sees Shade hanging by his seat belt. He tries to reach him but can’t. Mr. Showtime quickly reaches in his muddy white trench coat and pulls out a cell phone. He looks at the single and dials 911 for help. He is quick on giving the details on the whereabouts. He stays on the line but can’t help wonder why he isn’t hurt. He gives himself a lookover but finds no wounds. The medical services along with police are quick to arrive on the scene of the accident. The paramedic’s rush up toward Mr. Showtime and the wrecked vehicle. A paramedic stays near Mr. Showtime as the others try to free Shade who’s trapped inside the car still.
Paramedic: Are you the one that called?
Mr. Showtime: Yes I am. I… I saw a little boy in the road. I tried to move so I didn’t hit him, but I fish tailed and went over this hill. I must have blacked out because I’m not sure what has happened since then. I awoke and the car was on its side. I crawled out of the window and went running for the boy, but he was nowhere to be found. Then I remember Shade was in the car and came back. I called 911 right away and rest is history.
Paramedic: Well you look unharmed but you should go to the hospital for a check up.
Mr. Showtime: I will, but I got to go train for my match soon.
Paramedic shakes his head and goes over to where Shade is. Shade now lies on a Gurney. Mr. Showtime walks up to him and makes a cross with his hand. He shakes his head and walks to a cop car that has the key still in it. He talks to the cop for a second as cop gets in the driver seat. Mr. Showtime gets in the passenger seat as they close the doors. The sirens start up as they pull off into the night. The camera moves toward Shade as he is put into the ambulance and carted off the hospital. The scene fades to black.
