I stood there in amazement at all the different monitors and TV sets that was in the POW television studio, there was every match that has happened in POW right in front of me. As I then began to move I noticed that there was a interview studio, I looked again I moved closer and closer to the interview studio, there we big lights, cameras everywhere, this was a kids dream to become a television star, every kids dream is to be shown on television. As I thought to myself, I have been on television for the last 4 weeks my mission is complete here.
I look back at all the people sitting down all working hard in front of a television monitor accessing if everything is going correctly. The colours where spectacular on the monitor, this was like a fairyland for small children, but I am no small child I am 17 years of age I though to myself. As I then look again in the interview studio, I think to myself should I go inside? Should I have myself a interview? I then quickly open the big long double doors into the interview room, there sitting there with a microphone, I look around people are all holding camera. There are big tall microphone that are touching the ceiling.
As I look around more, I see that no one has scheduled to have a interview at this time, and everyone looks relaxed and everyone just chatting. I cannot hear them what they are talking about, I am just in amazement of the interview room, the place is big, much bigger than looking from the outside. There are two couches, obviously one for the interviewer and in a few moments one for me. I look around there are coffee machine. I tell myself angrily. ''Is that all they got? I don’t like coffee, I am more of a cola guy myself.'' Then I look over, and I see a very beautifull women. In jeans and a white top that is showing off her spectacular body, she has long blonde hair, she then walks over to the couch drinking her coffee.
This girl is very beautifull I think to myself, then she looks over at me, well I think so. She smiles. ''What should I do?'' I then in a panic give the most cheesiest smile ever, she then walks over to one of the cameramen, I noticed that she has a very English accent. I hope she likes Canadians I think to myself, I then move closer to her and the cameraman, she points to me and smiles. Then tells me to come over to the couches, she puts her coffee to one side, she is still smiling. I sit down nervously, I start biting my nails. Then she smiles at me one more time. Before speaking to me, me. Yes Cory Barnett.
''Hello, I am Stephie Campbell''
She says very confidently.
''I am going to interview you, well because you did come into the interview area, so I am sure you are looking for a interview eh? To give a message maybe to the fans of POW.''
She smiles at me again.
'And you are?''
I thought to myself, should I say it very loud and make my presence heard like I have so many times or should I say it nice and slow?
''Cory Barnett I am''
I went all red, I then realised how stupid that came across to be.
She laughs, and shakes my hand.
She then pulls out a pen from her pocket, and then reaches to the side of the couch and pulls out a small note pad. She then signs to the cameramen to get the camera's rolling, I am again very nervous every time I shoot a interview my heart beats faster and faster, but especially this time that I have the most beautifull girl I have seen so far in POW. She then clears her throat and smiles at me, she loves smiling I think to myself. She looks at the notes, probably from my matches here in POW, not that they are a good record anyway, but they will improve I think to myself. She reads quickly through the notes. She then grabs the mic, as the countdown begins and I sat there very nervously.

''Hello, I am Stephie Campbell, and I am joined here today with the number one contender for the open weight championship, Cory Barnett, Hello Cory and welcome to the show, now I didn’t recognize you when you walked in here, you have a new hair cut and well you don’t seem to be the old Cory Barnett we are all used to here at Northeast. Is it possible that a haircut can change a person?''
I then sat forward, and think to myself that I need to be more confident.
''Hello Stephie it’s a pleasure. Yeah, I did take a trip to the barbers and hope you like it. Its not just the haircut Stephie, oh no. I am looking at myself differently now, I hated the old Cory Barnett.
Then Stephie nods in agreement.
''In what way did you hate your old self?''
I sat back deeply in the armchair.
''Well the attitude stank, all I wanted here in Northeast was people chanting my name and well saying WOW he is some guy, he is cool as hell. And I was a cameraman and interviewers nightmare, all I did was take the piss, and beat the hell out of them which was not very professional plus the fines where a lot of cash. I had a dream, which was to become a wrestler, and also I loved Superman, he was like god in my eyes. Well now I want to live that dream properly, I wanna be a good wrestler, with all the superstars hate me, and me thinking that I am something huge here in POW when obviously I'm not. I want people to love my wrestling it is something unique, I want to become a super hero here in Northeast, but a super hero without the mask and the tight spandex, I just wanna be me, the real me, I want to be the Superman of Northeast.''
Stephie smiles at me again, then looking down at her notes again.
''That sounds very interesting Cory, well hopefully a lot of the fans forgive you for your old actions here in POW, because I admit myself you was a bit of a jerk back then. And now I'm sitting here with well what I belive and I think a lot of other people agree with me is a more friendly and more real Cory Barnett.''
I sit forward again, looking into Stephie's beautifull hazel eyes.
''I agree, the way I look at it is that I wasn’t at all entertaining I was a guy pretending to be something that I wasn’t and well that makes me angry looking back at it now. Sure I still have the ruthless aggression and everything but the attitude needs to change I need to respect the people of this business, and the business and everyone will respect you.''
Stephie again looks into my eyes, well I think. Then she reaches for the pen and then looks more at my notes. She smiles then asks me more questions.
''Now Cory, you are sure a inspiration to a lot of little children around the world right now, looking back at your life story. I know it is sad times, but could you please tell us what exactly happened?''
I begin to worry, I start biting my nails. I look again into the beautifull Stephie Campbell's eyes and get lost, then finally come back to reality.
''Yeah…sure I guess. Well I had a illness, I wasn’t able to walk. I had to have major heart surgery. I was then on recovery, and well I though everything was okay, but my breathing was a problem, nothing major just I would get tired easily. I am fine now, but people ask me why I had to become a wrestler if I have all those problems. Well the anwser is quite simple, follow your dreams, live them. Like I am living my dream now, and I am number one contender to face Travis Brown this Sunday night at ocean city slam.''
Then Stephie grins.
''Yes Cory, that is truly a great accomplishment to overcome a illness and live your dream which is to become a wrestler and look where you are now, that is truly amazing. I cant wait when you get inside that ring Cory. How are you feeling?''
I sit back again, relaxed well I think.
''I am very exited, here is one thing I want to recap. Was my very first match I took a gore from Travis Brown and lost in under 30 seconds, I look back at it and how cocky I was then. I was just so happy to be on television, and I don’t know what come across me. Well the thing is now, I am totally different as you can tell. I am counting Travis Brown as a bad guy in my match, and that I am a hero, and that I am everyone's favourite hero. I walk into this match pretending that it is a comic book, and every end of a comic book has a special ending and well I am hoping that maybe Sunday night will be no different.''
''I am very exited for you Cory. But as we know, Travis is a force to be reckoned with here in Northeast, how are you going to overcome this obstacle?''
I look around, all the cameras are at the me, the studio is huge, as I look back all I can see are those amazing eyes and smile of Stephie Campbell.
''Yeah, of course he is a tough competitor, he is Openweight champion for crying out loud. But, I will have no problem in walking into ocean city slam whooping some stinky brown ass and walking out with that championship belt over my shoulder. Something hit me last night, when I was laying there in my bedroom on my bed. And I was thinking of Travis Browns famous catchphrase, Welcome to Brown town. That quite scared me. Not in the way is it intermitting become, I fear nobody that how I roll. But Brown town? Usually if people like it the brown side of town. The brown side get it? Well hopefully he doesn’t touch my penius. Im an insane man.''
Stephie begins to giggle to herself, then pulls herself together.
''Yeah Cory are one funny guy and insane at the same time. Now Cory what can we expect from this super hero like of you?''
I sit back again, then look at my gloves I stare at the Superman logo that is knitted into my black no fingered gloves.
''Well your gonna see, a small guy kick lots of butt, I'm gonna make Northeast a safe place to be, without the bad guys coming in and wrecking everything. I am going to make this safe, you are going to see a lot of smacks, booms, cracks and zaps. You are also going too see the powers I possess. Not that I'm good at magic but, your going to see me going even higher when I hit that Superman splash.''
Then Stephie's eyes get bigger, and her smiles also is bigger. She leans back in the couch.
''Now Cory, Travis is undefeated here in POW. You have been defeated a few times, and you have lost to Travis in the past. But I must say, I watched your match with excitement and well it was brilliant when you was facing Meltdown, you showed a lot of heart and the fans did love you for that match. Although you lost, it was a terrific showing from you Cory Barnett.''
I sit back with a cheesy grin on my face.
''Yeah, I think that’s what made me very happy, although straight after that I was a little frustrated. But yeah, it was a good match for me and hopefully I can get my revenge on that bad pickle Meltdown again. But now I have to concentrate on brining justice to Northeast, and bringing the championship home. I am ready to make Northeast a fresh new place, where I Cory Barnett shall lead, a place where I will defeat all the bad guy and do what is right. And hopefully entertain my fans all around the globe. I can't wait for this Sunday, its going to be electrifying.''
''Indeed it is Cory, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for coming for a interview today. It has been a honour to me the new Cory Barnett, and new hero here in Northeast.''
Then I stand up, I am relieved to get out of this place. My nerves die down and then I stare in the eyes of the beautifull eyes of Stephie Campbell.
''The only thing I have left to say is, kids, make sure you eat your vitamins, say your prayers and eat your vegetables. And then you can be strong and a hero like me, your friendly neighbourhood Superman, I Cory Barnett. And lets kick some butt at ocean city slam.''
As I walk off, I tremble over the leads from the camera, I look back at Stephie who is all smiles. I then walk again through the big double doors, and then out the building as a whole. And my journey begins as the hero, and as the number one contender for ocean city slam.
I look back at all the people sitting down all working hard in front of a television monitor accessing if everything is going correctly.
