Eddie Jones is sitting in a large, padded, black armchair in front of a large POW logo. The camera reveals only his face and upper torso. He has a Christian Cage t-shirt on with a blue baseball cap pulled backwards and his hair falls down his shoulders. He sits quietly for a moment before speaking.
Eddie: Once again, I am facing the same people in New England. I can never seem to get away from either Knight or Pliskin. Both these guys just constantly in my way. This time though, Pliskin won’t be pulling some kind of brute force tactics on me with his CIA thugs being held up by Mick Cormac. So this time, only Pliskin will be involved in the outcome. Only Pliskin can save himself. Not his little lackeys or any of the people of this country. The “elected leader” of the free nation can only save himself, which isn’t going to happen. This nation’s leader couldn’t save himself from a paper bag.
As for Chris Knight, he should just step back and stay out of my way. He shows up every so often and every time, all he does is embarrass himself even more. Knight should keep out of New England if he knows what is best for him.
This weekend might be my last in New England, but it will prove to be my best. My track record in New England might be less than stellar, but I am looking to change the opinions of those who follow New England by taking this last match and showing that I do deserve to be among the elite in POW. Pliskin may be the more dominant opponent in this match, but that just means my competition is a little bit easier than normal.
Look for me to be standing victorious in the ring after this weekend. Look for Eddie Jones to be walking out of New England with my head held high, and the world knowing that I really do mean business. This is just a springboard for me into next week, when I take on Scott Lanegan and get my TV title shot. After this next week, which I will go 2-0 in POW, I will become a blip on the radar, and the people in POW will know the name, of Eddie Jones.
Eddie leans back and puts his arms up on the armrests as the camera fades out.
