"Party Like a Rock Star" by Shop Boyz begins to play and the crowd get out of the chairs as "Renegade" Travis Brown enters through the curtain carrying a bag. He beats his chest for a few seconds and then points to the people. He then runs to the ring and then slides in under the bottom rope. Travis approaches a turnbuckle, climbs it and then outstretches his arms. He steps down and grabs a microphone.
Travis Brown: First off, let me start off by saying that the biggest free agent in the professional wrestling business is currently standing in the ring and he is excited to be here, really. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think that he would be standing in the middle of a Power On Wrestling New England ring, addressing his fans. Now, Mr. Travis Brown knows exactly what you people are thinking. You're thinking, "Who is this guy? Where did he come from? Why is he on my television?" Well, I'll tell you if you people sit down and shut up and listen to "The Renegade".
For months, MONTHS, there has been a secret bidding war between Mr. Tito Capaci and Mr. Randall Lovejoy over the contract of Travis Brown. They kept throwing him money and offering him a larger contract, so-being the business man he is, Mr. Brown held out. He held out so long, that Mr. Randall Lovejoy finally hit the ball in the ballpark of how much Travis Brown is really worth. Now, the contract is extensive with multiple perks and a high figure salary- probably more than you people make in a lifetime, but that's not what this is about. What this little interview is about is simple.
(He pulls out a title belt from the bag he is carrying.)
Travis Brown: Do you see this belt? This belt right here is the formerly vacant POW: New England Openweight Championship. I say formerly vacant because the administration here in New England do not know how to book a championship correctly. That is where Mr. Brown comes in. "Renegade" Travis Brown has now proclaimed himself the inaugural POW: New Englanh Openweight Champion. Yes, Travis Brown can do this. Why? Because Travis Brown is perfection and you don't doubt perfection. EVER.
Now, Travis Brown figures that Mr. Randall Lovejoy will mosey his way on out here and tell the world that T-Brown is not the champion because he did not earn this piece of gold. Mr. Randall Lovejoy will probably continue on to say that in order to win gold here in POW:NE, Mr. Brown is going to have to earn it. Well, Travis Brown says "Sure." You are more than willing to put him in a match against anyone currently in the Openweight division.
(He scans the crowd a bit, and then looks towards the entrance curtain.)
Travis Brown: Well, it seems as though Travis sees no one else in this division besides Mr. Brown, so it looks as though he will continue to wear his gold belt with pride. Not only does "The Renegade" look good and fight hard, but he's a champion. He is a master of his craft. Before he leaves this ring, Mr. Brown has one last thing to say...
WELCOME TO BROWN TOWN, BITCH!
