The scene opens with Lee Cash grinning into the camera, in the lobby of the hotel David Hilt is staying at. Sitting down in a seat next to him, acting very nonchalant, is David Hilt himself. Lee raises a mic to his mouth, and begins to speak.
Lee: I'm here with David Hilt, and I am confident that he's going to give me on hell of an interview! As you saw last week,Stephie Campbell failed miserably trying to get one for herself. And after that incident with Zevon...I mean-
Dave: (interrupting him) What you mean is, you were embarrassed by the champ and Steph, and after watching me give her a hard time last week, you think you can come in here and do what she couldn't. Make it look like she's nothing special, at least, not anymore than you? I was in a bad mood last week, I'll admit. But I get a chance to fix the cause of that in a few days. I wanted to try again with Steph, make sure there were no hard feelings, but I don't think she's quite over it yet. So I just let you have the chance to show I have no problems with either of you. Come to think of it, you guys haven't had too many... "good" experiences with me, have you? I guess I'm going to have to work on that... Well, here's a start!
Lee seems dumbfounded, not being able to quickly absorb all of Dave's rambling. After thinking about it, he's not sure how to respond to it all either, but not wanting to sit there, mouth agape and looking stupid, he quickly improvises.
Lee: Well...uh, I can assure everyone that there's no bad blood between Stephie Campbell and I, nor the champ. so you said you get a chance to fix the cause of your bad mood last week. What would that be?
Dave: What do you think? You know it's a "who," and that who is Eddie Buchalini. After screwing me out of my championship, he has the nerve to interfere with my match? That would have prolonged my anger, but the boss, Randall, knew that he couldn't stand by and watch all this happen. Now he's given me another match with him. While it may not be a title match, that doesn't mean shit. What does matter, is that now I get to prove that his win was a fluke, even though everyone knows it. The only people who don't are the ones on top, but they'll see. And once they do, I know I'll get another shot at what I deserve, and that is the Mid-Atlantic Championship.
Lee: Inspiring words. Do you have any you'd like to direct toward Eddie himself?
Dave: Hah! I could think of quite a few words I could send Eddie's way. Most four letters, and quite vulgar. But I don't need to get into that. I'm not a sore loser, no. What bothers me most is that this man now gets to walk around with a false sense of achievement, you know, thinking he actually did something. There's so many things I could say about this guy. But I don't really feel like it. What I feel like doing is letting my actions speak for themselves when I kick his ass in the tag match. Takeshi better hope he doesn't find the guts to get in my way, or he might find himself as bruised and beaten as Eddie. Oh, that goes for Nightkiller too. I don't have a problem with either of you, so I'd rather not cause any collateral damage.
Lee: Whoo!I can hardly wait, Sounds like you're really gunnin for him. Speaking of Takeshi Tanahasi, he recently-
Dave: (interrupting him once more) Just as I said, he'd better stay out of my way. I couldn't care less how much he thinks dropping a mask can help him here, I couldn't care less if he put me out for a few seconds for Orge to get a cheap win in our match before. I'd like to see him do that and follow it up, Last I checked, he got his stuff wrecked right after. When he has a pin or submission to hold over me, then he can try to intimidate me, or convince fans he can somehow easily deal with me.
Lee: Reasonable, now, you mentioned your tag partner-
Dave: (interrupting yet again) Yeah, Nightkiller. I have nothing against him, just as I said.
Lee: But last week you said you wanted to, and I quote, "put a beating on him." You wanted to do it twice even, in GCW, as you said. You even went as far as to say you would destroy him...
Dave: Well, it isn't hard to understand. I had gotten screwed out of a championship the week before. If it had happened to you, you would have a bit of anger to release as well. Nightkiller was the once who had to receive it. But that's over now. I never had anything against him personally, I just wanted to vent. I am not bringing any hatred into this match for Nightkiller, so we should work together perfectly. As long as he doesn't try anything, or get in the way of my revenge on Eddie Buchalini.
Lee: So how exactly do you feel about your match last week, looking back on it?
Dave: Nothing to say really. It was a good match, and I was able to release the anger I had. But someone had to come in and ruin that. Eddie, for some reason only god knows, decided he wanted to add insult to injury. If he was smart, he would have taken that belt and ran for the hills. But no, he brought the anger back, and put me at a whole new level of pissed. And he gave Randall a reason for me to get another match with him. If you ask me, he really f**ked up.
Lee: Well you didn't mention it this time, but you've said you got screwed out of the title. Do you want to explain your side of the story?
Dave: There is no story to tell. It's right there on video. If anyone would have used that object, it was Eddie. I don't want to say anything against the ref, but that was plain stupid. He fell for Eddie's cheap tactics. He didn't know better than to trust one of the dirtiest men in the business. That's ail it comes down to. I pinned Eddie, and it got reversed over bullshit. I said it once, I'll say it again, I'm going to fix that soon.
Lee: You think this all will result in a re-match then?
Dave: Of course. I don't care who else wants it. It's rightfully mine. I'll prove it. Simple, no?
Lee: Very. So the title-
Dave: Dude, can't you think of anything else? I'm tired of talking so much about how I got "screwed over." Whether I did or didn't, it'll just make it seem as if I'm whining. Move on.
Lee: Uh...well then...
Lee just realizes that he's ran out of things to say. Annoyed that he's been made to look stupid yet again, he stutters up a new rebound.
Lee: Well! Maybe you could wrap this up by telling us anything else
you'd like everyone to know?
Dave: Watch for the new champ! Heh.
Lee looks visibly disappointed, not sure whether to consider this a good interview based on Dave's part, or miserably failed on his part. Nonetheless, he makes his final comments, and motions for the camera to be cut.
Lee: Thanks, Dave. Uh...hope to do this again soon...?
Lee: I'm here with David Hilt, and I am confident that he's going to give me on hell of an interview! As you saw last week,Stephie Campbell failed miserably trying to get one for herself. And after that incident with Zevon...I mean-
